I've loved uni, it started off quite difficult because of the change of learning style. But once I got into the rhythm I absolutely love it, finally learning things that appeal to my interest. I'm excited to start my final year, who knows what I'll do next but either way I'm excited :)

Facilities are well suited for studying / spending time on campus when on breaks. The students union is very active, there is always something to join in with / explore further.

Have had a great university experience where there are a lot of societies to check out, can have a good laugh with the student union, and the tutors respond to emails quickly.

WiFi in uni never works for me
Thanks very much for your review. So sorry to hear that you have been struggling to connect to the Wi-Fi. We have free Wi-Fi available for students and staff and also guest Wi-Fi for any visitors at the university. Our friendly staff at our libraries are happy to help students with any IT queries during their studies and they have a handy online chat service to support remotely.
Generally the campus is nice and quiet to walk through and study in considering that it's in town. I'd say that the careers service could improve a bit with perhaps advertising itself more.
Thanks very much for your review. Our LJMU campuses are located in the heart of Liverpool city centre with many handy amenities nearby. There are quieter areas on campus, such as the library facilities and green spaces. We also have a wide selection of accommodation options in a variety of locations across the city centre. for a non-red brick uni. it is actually decent. some lectures can be a bit dull and strict as if we are in high school and act like we’re not worth their time

Uni seems to be quite sociable I just didn’t really get involved with anything due to the nature of my course making it hard to speak to people during lectures.
City campus is nice as all in one place. Wish we had a student union bar or somewhere to socialise in the uni.

wifi is poor and not many charging spots by tables in lecture theatre this has led me to buy more data and a portable charger
Wish there was more student union activities
My experience at LJMU has been nothing short of positive, I’m currently a member of the feminist society set up by the student union and I found it was a great way to get to know people.

LJMU definitely looks after their students in many ways. Lots of social space, academic help, and personal help such as free lunches and items.

Not well publicised regarding the students union, facilities are decent with many computers, byrom street could do with more study areas, becomes very packed, at times no seats available, need more societies
I love attending LJMU and am extremely glad this is where I ended up attending. I initially wanted to attend Cardiff University as I am from Wales, however, after attending open days in both Cardiff and Liverpool, I knew that for my Bachelors degree, Liverpool was the right choice. It was then deciding which university to attend. I decided to attend LJMU as I found that in terms of teaching and the amenities provided, JMU was the best option for me to study what I wanted to peruse; psychology.
LJMU has been a very supportive community during the course of my studies.

Love the university, staff always so helpful and go above and beyond to support you in your studies.
There are lots places to do work, lots of activities and always reminded that there is careers advice, a wide range of societies too. The wifi is also good.
Overall good i can’t say i have got involved but know from friends that they offer good opportunities

fantastic uni. stayed at ablett house and happens to be a fantastic accommodation. especially with customer service which is great. especially the likes of Ali who takes care of all the students and makes sure we are all happy. fantastic accommodation all round.
