Great University, a lot of support and lovely student community
Wifi and service is not good in the union or in lectures sometimes.
i cant find wifi at campus. struggling to get registered and getting a student card and student bus card. union is good
I love my uni, there is something for everyone. My course is good, the performing arts extracurriculars are great, and campus is a lovely place to be.
Terrie and Allbena have been really welcoming and helpful. They along with other staff members have played a big role in helping in adjust throughout my stay.
Simran was a great help, she helped me get around the accommodation and was very very friendly. 10/10 wouldn’t know my way around without her
Staff are really helpful but sometimes take a long time to resolve issues. Campus is clean and tidy, fellow students are kind to give directions to where you need to be. Societies are amazing! You’ll feel very welcome and clubs have a lot of give it a go sessions. Overall, very pleased and super excited for the new academic year!

As a student at the University of Leeds, I’m delighted to have chosen Sky Plaza as my dormitory. Living in a studio here has been an absolute pleasure. The location is perfect, with the university and city centre just a short walk away, making transportation and shopping super convenient. The studio itself is spacious, especially compared to other accommodations in Leeds, and it comes fully equipped with everything I need, including a private washing machine—a huge plus for someone like me who values cleanliness! The living environment is quiet and comfortable, providing the perfect space to study and relax. What stands out even more is the exceptional service from the Unite Students Team. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming, and I have to give a special mention to the manager, Bruno. He’s an outstanding leader who goes above and beyond to help students with any issues or offer advice. My time at Sky Plaza has been filled with wonderful experiences!!!
Eduroam is a pain but once working has solid speed SU is full of fun stuff Societies are great

This apartment is highly recommended! It offers a cozy environment, top-notch amenities, and exceptional customer service. I've been living here for a year and have received numerous freebies (i mean, who doesn't love freebies?). The amenities provided here are unlike any I've seen elsewhere. In addition to the fantastic perks, the location is superb, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The maintenance team is quick to respond and resolve any issues, ensuring a hassle-free living experience. The community is friendly and hosts regular events that create a strong sense of belonging among the residents.
It’s an okay university where there are facilities available but i believe the university could do more to make it inclusive

This student apartment is the most perfect apartment for me during my study abroad. I have been to many of my classmates' apartments and their room facilities and staff service are not as good as this one. The foundry leeds' room is large, soundproofed well, the staff is very friendly, and I highly recommend all student to stay!

Leeds campus is lovely and close to the city and well as where the students live in 2nd and 3rd year. All nice and compact and walkable unlike other universities which are more spread out. The student union is great and the libraries are too.

The complaints regarding Sky Plaza are backed by videos and screenshots, and there are more than just these four issues: 1. The apartment has failed to address the hot water problem for all residents for a prolonged period, leaving no place to shower, severely disrupting daily routines. 2. The apartment's renovation noise is excessive, and the more they renovate, the more problems arise within the apartment. Staff responses have been evasive. 3. The apartment door is broken, and despite being told to contact the 24-hour front desk downstairs, staff have not been responsive, even after two attempts at 10 PM. 4. During the early hours, the elevator stopped at my floor but didn't open for half an hour. When reported, the staff said they would arrange for repair, but no action was taken, and there were no measures to temporarily suspend the elevator for maintenance.
The lift problem exists for like a month. And it didn’t solved until now. We can only use a lift with most 3 people in it. In a building with almost 500 people.
I am very happy to feel the strong academic atmosphere and enthusiastic campus life in the University of Leeds.

It's a rubbish apartment, the elevator is always broken, and it's very scary for people to be trapped in it and not be able to get out. There is no hot water supply every day and I have to take cold showers. The front desk engages in racial discrimination and only delivers packages to white people without paying attention to other races, and this applies to both black and white employees!
