I love that the university has such a mix of buildings on campus in terms of modern and more classic. There’s a gym on campus with a pool that’s very useful and membership is included in my rent as I stay in halls. There’s a huge range of societies with things as niche as Quidditch society. I think that there’s a society for everyone. Many of the societies however run events purely based on clubbing which is exclusive and also gets boring so it would be nice if they could be more imaginative. The mind matters and the high on life society to name a few have socials not revolves around alcohol or nights out. The Union also run a lot of events e.g. arts and crafts session particularly in freshers week and there’s been dog therapy sessions through the year. There’s also lots of spaces for society meet-ups. The careers service offer a number of appointments and I get many emails about placements and other opportunities. I have never had issues with wifi on campus so far.
The PhD supervisors are not very good

I’ve had a great experience here. The lectures are friendly and interesting and I am loving my course. The facilities are good, however I would like access to more facilities as a GCI student (Art rooms and music Practice rooms)
Great University with a range of excellent facilities and courses
Currently in first year. Loving uni, always getting emails with different opportunities, tutors and academics are always friendly and willing to help, responsive too. Amazing library and campus. Filled with various students and people, love university of Leeds
Only been here a month but love it. really good feel about the place. lots of opportunities to make friends. nice green areas in the city too

I have had a great experience at the University of Leeds so far (2021/22 academic year) The campus and its facilities are great. All of the academic staff I have encountered so far have been very friendly, and show a genuine interest in their field of study and helping students succeed There also appears to be a lot of great services to help make you feel settled in, ensure you have a positive experience overall, and guide you with your career after your studies
I studied the foundation year in the International Study Centre. It was an online year, but I liked the campus where I resided near to it, and the University of Leeds ambassadors were very nice to interact with even when studying the foundation year. Overall positive experience.

The best university experience
I don't know much about my uni because we've never had any on-site teaching and couldn't even go library much.
All been online teaching due to covid so haven’t had much experience of the facilities
Due to covid my university was online for the year but it was still managed nicely and content was taught well.However there was some instances where everyone had problems with online servers which was annoying.
I had a brilliant time at University and Did not get home sick as there are always activities keeping you busy and counsellors to get in touch with.
Had potential to be amazing if 2021 wasn't an online covid bubble. (right place, wrong year)
The university is good but there are some problems that I could not find the proper person to deal with my issues sometimes.

Everything about uni of Leeds is amazing! I love it when everything among the facilities came along with my expectations, especially during this hard time we are all going through.
Though I was promised an in person experience I got 0 hours at the actual university- it was all online so I can't tell you much about the facilities. the library spaces were open which was a nice place to get your work done. the union bars are very cheap. again because of covid societies were limited and no socials really. Law society was helpful on the career aspect but still not sure if it was worth the £30 probably not. the wifi is overall good but there were days were it would break which would be rather annoying but a good excuse to not do work :)

It’s a great university, nice location and easy to move around. It’s close to the city which i love as well. I couldn’t really experience the uni life due to the pandemic
Wifi is shocking and the ethernet port in my room didn't work. Didn't get to experience any clubs or societies due to covid and most of campus was closed while being here. I'm sure it would of been better had it not been covid but not much I can do about it now.

Amazing university wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Not really been to it yet but campus is lovely. Perfect location. Some teachers lack motivation other to that some inspiring professors. Worth it for the vibe

Library facilities are lovely and the new system to book is great, campus is really nice to walk around.
Lovely campus, everything in one place, good course
Difficult to review due to current lockdown restrictions, disappointing that many clubs and societies haven't taken up the initiative to reach out to students to run virtual events. Have signed up to many mailing lists and never hear anything, the SU could have done more to encourage socs to reach out to new students this academic year. The campus itself looks lovely and never had internet issues while on site.

Leeds University is also a very good place, it is full of academic atmosphere. I can interact very friendly with the teacher, but unfortunately the recent impact of covid-19 has become an online class

Awesome accommodation and service! Staffs here are so friendly. It is new and very clean. The great location makes my life in Leeds more convenient. There are also many great activities, everything thing is perfect!
Top University, near to City Centre
A great university for postgrad students. The staff at the school of math do a great job. The food from the refectory is quite expensive and unhealthy though.

Great in general! Good teaching and you can leverage your chances of getting good job if you make use of societies and other extracurriculars. Leeds is famous for student life. It definitely is better in many aspects than London.

I had a wonderful time studying in this uni. Coming from India, this uni never once disappointed with it's efforts to make me feel at home. Regular events and an understanding faculty are like cherry on top.
Good overall. The only thing I didn’t like was that they made me fly all the way back to the UK during covid saying that the seminars would be in person and once I got here it is now online.
The University of Leeds is an awesome campus and a place to study. I studied two MA here in English Literature and Communication and Media and now I am gearing up for my PhD in the latter. If I did not have such an awesome time and all the best academic support I would not choose this uni over and over again ❤️️

Loved my time at the University of Leeds!
I was a postgraduate student doing my Masters and it was very emotionally draining. However, it was the most rewarding and life changing experience due to its supportive environment, good student union with delicious food and also the food markets every Monday on the campus itself. I really like the libraries as well where I used to study for exams and do my coursework. Access to the City Centre was also very easy from the campus where I used to explore and eat out a lot. The Careers Service were also very helpful in helping me to find direction in where I wanted to go next and have managed to secure a PhD and funding to continue my time at Leeds. I would with confidence recommend Leeds for future students because of its great supportive environment and great places to eat out. Also, great place to figure out what you want out of creating an independent life and Leeds can enhance your true capabilities. Ever though my Masters is over, my time in Leeds has not come to an end. :)

Leeds University is really beautiful and I love everywhere here. All the buildings are perfect. And I really enjoy the food in the restaurant.
One of the best years of my adulthood life. I must say one year is very short for such a fantastic experience, but I feel like I gained so many things during my time at the University of Leeds. The staff and lecturers are kind and helpful, the modules structures are fantastic, and we have the best student union in the UK. I would never trade my experience at the University of Leeds with anything.
Awful experience, wish I chose a metropolitan. I don't know what they're doing to the students. But during my time, the referendum vote meant life or death. If you go to university, don't bring up politics. I didn't gain a single friend, got asked to leave multiple societies, which ironically I got suggested to join because apparently it's unhealthy to just work, Don't listen to people who tell you that you can "spread your wings", you can't. By law you can only do 120 credits a year, yet you're only in University less than 30 hours a week; sometimes less than 10. No matter how fast you do your work, it will not be accepted unless you submit it within a small frame near the submission date. I didn't go to University to get drunk and have drugs, I went to study, work hard, have my head down 60-70 hours a week. A total disappointment. I shouldn't have to go the same pace as the hungover dude at the back.
If you are a sound person who likes house parties and socialising with a ton of interesting and unique people then this is almost definitely the best university experience in the UK. The campus is top tier, so is the union, and Hyde park is just a one mile radius of almost all student houses and it has been one of the best experiences I could imagine to live there for 3 years.
The university is good. Sound frastracture and professional teaching staff. A lot of social activities.
