The facilities are amazing, eveyrthing is either very new, cool 70's buildings that are well maintained, or very old buildings like the royal college that are beautiful to be in and still have great equipment. There is always tonnes of support (even more than a lot of people care for!) and EVERYTHING is super close together, literally nothing is more than 5 minutes from halls including the incredible Strath Sport. The shops are nearby, and so is the train station, bus station, and all of the city centre and clubs, we never have any trouble walking where we want to go, and never get put off due to something being too far. Overall it always feels like everything has been thought off, right down to kitchens with microwaves and kettles on campus and in the union where you can heat food brought from home. Wifi is literally everywhere too, and very quick, overall an unbeatable uni in the best location.
The house is comfortable and the staff is friendly. I have made many good friends. It is very happy to live in the city center by the river
The University of Strathclyde has a first class teaching and high quality research environment.
Good facilities available, nice union
The food on campus is not very good. There are many clubs and societies for a variety of interests. The university location is quite good. There aren't nearly enough general study spaces (they get full very quickly)

Amazing university and great infrastructures!! The only thing that was lagging is due to the pandemic things were mostly online which made me a bit sad sometimes as you feel the investment isn't worth it if you're an international student.
great university Good connection for studying and entertainment in various spots around the buildings/campus.
Good lecturers, friendly staff and help services, loads of opportunities sent and recommended to you.

It is quite a good university with immense internal exposure and networking opportunities.
University is good, but lack those market skills. If more of interaction with certain local companies that would be helpful for the students to get better exposure and get relevant market skills.

Good one to explore but restricted students in the initial phase with online classes. Didn't feel like attending university at that point of time.
University of Strathclyde is one of the best universities to study your chosen major, the tutors and the staff are all friendly and nice. Strath Union is a place to study and socialise..

University of Glasgow is a an amazing historic univeristy where you feel are in the middle of a Harry Poter movie! Meeting people from different countries and cultures was a great exposure for me as an international student.
Nice facilities. love hiking every morning to my class. I like the new Student Union building and the library.
I've studied at uni of strathclyde for 2 years. I have enjoyed my time at the uni. Although COVID limited clubs and societies online clubs and societies have strived.

Staff on my course are usually helpful and informative. You feel researched and have access to help. However, my first year politics class last year was appalling so I do not recommend.
A good school for postgraduate studies in terms of reputation but somewhat lacking in terms of interaction with the faculty, possibly due to COVID restrictions during the 21/22 academic year.
I love my university. It helps me build my future and opens so many doors for me.
The location is perfect, as it is actually in the city center. There are many places to study, eat or socialize in the campus. The library and the gym are worth using.

A great university to get in. I feel proud that I m a part of it
We haven't got chance to enter the campus due to the restrictions of Covid-19.
Overall, the amount of assignments is obviously more than other universities, it may as advantage or disadvantage factor depend on different student. However, international student may spend more effort at the beginning to follow the course pace.

University of Strathclyde is a high quality university with nice campus and location :)
Due to the current pandemic situation, unfortunately I have not managed to physically attend classes at Strathclyde, however I have continued to study from the Andersonian library which is extremely clean and quiet and helped me a lot with my studies.
Good school best for engineering and business
Depends on what you are looking for I guess, student union is mainly for undergraduates really! Career services sucks!! Anything other than that is pretty good.
Great campus and is very close to city centre only a short walk from Buchanan street.
I would recommend anyone to join my university. Tutors, facilities, location and people everything is great.

Strathclyde has been tightly regulated during the pandemic and has allowed us to get into the University and still work but also feel safe. The University has been supportive with all students. One part in particular was over the Christmas period when students couldn’t go home and for students who didn’t celebrate Christmas. There were Zoom calls arranged so people could still meet up and interact with one another. Student union score is only low due to a new one being built and not having access to the old one. I am sure the new one will be great.

Campus needs improvement. Internet is very weak in several areas around the campus. Careers service and students union are on point and provide amazing contributions.
All around very supportive with great staff, lovely people, and a students union that really tries to help you out and do its best to assist you, from policy to nights out, to making friends.

I have enjoyed my postgraduate studies in the university. It’s really a great university. Its library was affording place to study. I learnt many skills, during my study. Student union is quite welcoming to give support within our study period.

Great campus and great student support
Remote learning is difficult but there is a great support network on hand to de-stress.
I didn’t have the chance to see it because of COVID-19.
Strathclyde is undoubtedly a prestigious institute, with a l'il room for improvement.
I only studied online. I have never study on campus yet.
This is my second year at Strathclyde and it has been a blast and a challenge. Amidst the pandemic the uni has done their best to keep us informed about proceedings. Although we were kind of promised some type of online - on campus blended learning, most if not all was online. The services at the university have splendid and the union is the best in the Uk. They helped through the toughest of times in my life with being kicked out of my house. They provided me advice, finance and all sorts to make sure I was having the chance to study my degree at Strathclyde. So I can’t give them no less than a 5 star if I could give more I would. During the few times I was able to go in to an actual on campus lab class, the rules and regulations have been very clear and concise and the staff members did a great job of having us follow those rules. And those classes have been the best part of this academic year where I was able to see fellow students(also lecturers) and actually talk to them in person

The University of Strathclyde has a fantastic modern campus, faculty members are very helpful and accomodating, the practical experience I have received from my course (B.B.A) is definitely going to help me in the future.
Great university that is supporting students even after they graduate (through career services). Knowledgeable and friendly lecturers and staff. Great facilities. This includes the library and the library's website, the gym, and other buildings. I am having a good experience overall.
Have only been online so far at Strathclyde, but the online facilities are great!
I cant fully review it because haven't been to campus due to COVID. So this review is based on the two months I did study on-campus last year
University of Strathclyde offers many opportunities to make new friends thanks to the big number of events organised by the Strath Union and a lovely campus located exactly in the heart of city centre!
I did not have a chance to use the facilities in my university often. However, there are many activities you can join, e.g. gym or clubs or the place to hang out with your friends if you are interested.
I love my school, even though I haven't been in the classroom once.
The teaching environment at Strathclyde was very good and the tutors were very kind and answered my emails promptly. The location of the university is excellent, in the centre of Gera, which makes it easy to shop and get around.
Campus buildings are all very close together but union isnt great
You'll find us in the heart of Glasgow's city centre where we're surrounded by supermarkets to suit all tastes, we have an abundance of high street stores along with loads of great little thrift stores, second-hand shops and boutiques, restaurants for every cuisine, clubs, theatres, museums - you name it, we have it. But you'll discover all that when you come to visit us! In the meantime, take a look at our campus.

Was super excited to start, but it’s a decent uni overall.
The campus was very difficult to get to and the facilities were not conducive to lectures and work.
I believe the communication between staff and students could be improved and more activities could be put on to make all students (halls and commuting) feel more like part of a community. A lot of events occur from which commuting students miss out due to not hearing about them or them simply being at super inconvenient times
We have booked the trip to this school with a group and made prepayment . Because of covid 18 our trip was canceled but we still havent got the money back. Noone answers the emails
Just a for-profit organisation who takes your money for almost everything possible and does nothing. LAZIEST lecturers you’ll ever come across. Lecturers doesn’t care whether students are fine. They do things to their convenient. Turn up late for lectures, take more than 1 or 2 months to grade your assignments, does NOT respond to emails, does not even show up in class to teach but hires a bunch of PhD tutors to be present to answer questions from the VIDEO lectures. If you’re going to watch videos, don’t bother paying crazy tuition fees. Quality of teaching is really bad. The stuff taught is mediocre or worse. They gave everyone great results to make it seem like the students are smart and teachers taught well. But no, teachers are tragic at their job hence the quality of students. Really regretted choosing strathclyde.
