An excellent university, who work hard to provide an enjoyable student experience. They have the best disability support I have experienced at a university in the UK, and the student body are generally a great group of people.

Love being a student at Dundee. Due to the Universities smaller size it is very supportive. There is an incredible range of clubs and societies to join - something for everyone. Student Union is great with a lovely cafe to sit and work in. I have particularly scene enjoyed the arts scene in and around campus, with lots of great events and exhibitions always occurring. The city itself is great - with it being fairly small and so sunny you don’t feel isolated and it’s lovely being by the waterfront.
The university provides a wide range of services that really help to immerse new students into the community. I have found that the campus has many facilities that are all easily accessible. There are so many clubs and societies that allow new students to meet new people and feel included. The career services are great in teaching students various ways they could apply their degrees and what they can be used for. Overall, the University of Dundee is an amazing place for students and it is great for meeting new people.
One of the best college that I have come across with the utmost teaching facilities and lots of unions etc . They do provide provide proper communication and knowledge in each category . Would recommend to anyone.
Good university but can be hard to find a welcoming society other than the religious ones.
I am in second year of dental school. During first year I stayed in student accommodation and joined a couple of socieites. I felt the accommodation was pretty good and my room was big. When having issues with my roommates, the student services did offer help, although there was not much they could do, they were very supportive. I am with the uni disability services which have really helped me with the transition from school studies to university. Whenever I have an issue, they try their best to help me and they have really supported me. This year, I was interested in applying for an intercalated degree, I did have to search quite a lot for support but after speaking to the career services, they were able to direct me to the correct place. I would really recommend the disability services, the career services and also the general student services. The union did slightly suffer last year due to a mix of post covid and also the concrete crisis but apparently the events are better now.
It's great experience and everyone should visit the campus.
It's a very welcoming campus with a fair amount of things to do to keep you entertained. You get the general feeling that you are cared about.
It's alright. But, I think there could be more clubs (especially sports) to participate in.
I have great experience studying in the University
Great campus environment, everyone is helpful, easily reachable by bus.
Education and society department has a brand new office for the PhD students. Student have access to staff and the kitchen/social area allow for great socialising
Great campus style uni close to the city centre. Student union hosts some events and has a nice cafe but could do with more food options.
I’m very happy as a student at the University of Dundee. The clubs and societies are numerous and all wonderful. They vary from being cultural, sporting or course based and are headed by really enthusiastic and experienced people. The Student Union is extremely active and supportive throughout a student’s time at the university. All staff members are welcoming, respectful and supportive; always ready to help or signpost you to someone else who can. The University campus isn’t very close to the City Centre where most of the shopping happens but it’s well connected via buses that are fairly frequent. The teaching for Medicine involves commuting from the Main Campus to the Ninewells Hospital via the bus. Ninewells is a teaching hospital that is very well and diversely equipped for the patients and students there. The teaching rooms, lecture theatres, the Clinical Skills Centre, the library, etc. are just a few places where you will spend your time and love it, as a medical student.
Lectures are very helpful and hands on and give great advice
I really enjoy the University of Dundee, it is a beautiful campus that offers a lot of support for student living. There are also many social activities, clubs, and societies that are a great way to find a community on campus.
The University is wonderful! People are very helpful and it feels nice to be a part of this University specially as an international student.
University social side has declined recently but academics are still good
They do not follow any strict rules in grading. It is subjective opinion of the moderator I had same submission corrected three times and each time different comments for failing were given The only good thing in the college was the student support
The facilities at my Heathfiedl accommodation are good enough for me.
I think all the facilities are great on campus. I really enjoyed freshers with the student union it helped me connect with people in and outside my course.
The University of Dundee is well-regarded for its commitment to student success, supportive environment, and diverse offerings. As always, it’s recommended to research thoroughly to ensure it aligns with your academic and personal needs
Very good accommodation with planty of faculties. We don't have to worry about anything as it managed by good staff . Every one is very supportive and there for help every time .
I came here on 18th of January. A complete new place for me , I personally thought it would be difficult for me to cope up but within a really short span of time I was able to make friends and I used to attend almost all the entertainments done by the university. I attend the Chinese new year celebration, pizza night etc . Apart from being in a class , everyone around was really friend even the professors. Everything that they do to help us to make our semester and life easier is something I am thankful for. Yes , there is a great career service team , who helps any time I go in. There are a lot of variety clubs and if ever the college could add more they would . University of Dundee has helped me in making my life easier and simpler and happy.
The University of Dundee is widely recognized as the premier institution of higher learning in the Dundee area. It offers an exceptionally conducive learning environment, with outstanding faculty members and state-of-the-art facilities that cater to the diverse needs of students, particularly those from international backgrounds.
Very helpful ! And good initiative.
it’s great just that the city’s bit boring
Good campus, good facilities such a library
Good Uni. Good Societies. Good Facilities. Best Library. Good Vibes.
There are places to improve, like help for international students
University has gone downhill in the last few years. They seriously need to sort it out or they are going to destroy the uni. If you study medicine then you’ll be fine but every other department is underfunded & it’s sad
Great campus for meeting new people whilst also being very close to bars and shops. Rooms are spacious and I love the addition of the en-suite.
I think the biggest issue at the moment with the union is that half of it is closed. Due to this, events are not as enjoyable and can tend to be very cold as the are usually outdoors on the terrace.
I’m in several societies, but they all like to have their meetings on the same dates and at the same times.
Amazing staff, superb facilities by DUSA. Dundee University is a happening place with a lots of offers. ISE specially caught my attention because of its various sports facilities. And, Career services team members make me feel supported as an international student.
Some buildings are confusing to navigate. Social events are planned frecuently but often they are quite empty with very few people showing up
everything is good and acceptable
I landed here on 1st of September, and attended my welcome week. Trust me I haven't felt homesick then. I met so many people there, so many different communities trying there best to help us out. And there were frequent campus tours, thanks to them or else I would have been lost already. Also, my flat's oven wasn't working which was replaced by the reslife team with 25 minutes. Also, Wifi here is 24/7 and works too well for me. And, here is a Career support team which not only guides you on your CV but also helps you with mock interviews. It is just like a life jacket for us.
I have to say that I am in love with the learning atmosphere and the facilities provided by the University of Dundee. In addition to its rich academic support, the university offers a wide range of facilities for students to enjoy. Moreover, the university provides important support services such as mental health counselling, career support, networking facilities, and skill development activities, which are essential for students to excel in the real world.
excellent events during freshers and halloween
University of Dundee is a place you will always find things to do and participate in! From events to societies to sports clubs :)
my time at uni of dundee so far has been excellent i love how small and close together the campus and city are as its really easy to interact with others
The union is hardly usable because of the concrete, if I had known it might have impacted my decision in choosing my university
Societies are really welcoming and the older members will go out of their way to help you
Overall, the experience has been satisfactory overall but I'd like the career services department to be much more active and engaging.
everything has been amazing, so much going on all the time
Overall my uni experience has been good and I’m really enjoying it
A lot of people willing to help and a lot of resources to set you up for success!
I am happy to stay here. it is a clean, safe and close to the library.
Absolutely incredible university
union is fantastic, so many sports/societies for any interest, good campus especially djcad
accommodation is nice very central and plenty of support when u need it. great place to meet friends and flats are very safe with great security 24/7
The campus and social aspect of the university is good overall.
The Wi-Fi is not steady here in the campus and I can’t use the Wi-Fi Eduroam
The University of Dundee offers a vibrant international community, excellent faculty, and a supportive environment for global students. Highly recommended!
Everything I have been involved with in my first 6 weeks here have been great. I’ve joined societies which was quick and easy and everyone is friendly. I’ve used the services on the campus: the enquiry centre and the premier shop. They are both great.
The overall campus is nice to be in. There are other campuses but the city campus welcome in September was really warm and nice. The Sanctuary Students workers on campus are also really nice and helpful in assisting me when i’ve lost a package or needed something fixed in my flat.
Amazing university with the most welcoming and understanding staff, impeccable facilities and student union, and outstanding lecturers.
I wouldn’t say there was anything particularly special or noteworthy of the university. Although the student union often lies about having tickets sold out which made me lose a little respect for them
Everything is in close proximity, very handy
Even theough I am not one for clubs, I’ve heard so many amazing things about the universities society’s!!! They all seem close knit and busy.
Excellent service within the university
Overall good campus, lots of fun societies and clubs to join
Overall great, but union shop could do with some better stock sometimes
Good wholesome experience till now. It portrays a realistic expectation of campus life. so you get what you see
Hey Ridhi! University life at the University of Dundee is amazing! There are so many opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities, meet new people, and expand your horizons. The campus is beautiful, and there are plenty of resources and support available for students. Plus, being a medical student, you must have some incredible experiences and opportunities in your field. Overall, I'd say university life here is top-notch! 😄🎓
Diverse campus... all facilities in reach
The university campus is very nice and has many buildings and a big library, shop, student union and more
i have enjoyed exploring the societies and meeting new people through the freshers events
It has been a great experience
Variety of activities and clubs on campus
university does what it’s meant to do. campus is dated but improvements are being made i believe to update and renovate it
There are lots of great societies
So far, I am enjoying my stay at Dundee and the staff in campus are very friendly and welcoming all the time.
It is a great uni with lots to do.
WiFi often doesn't work in lecture theatres
Overall it’s a good uni. Sports clubs and gym is pretty good.
Always had great wifi in uni. Will likely be getting in touch with the careers service soon too so it’s good that they are there!
Good facilities and societies around the campus. I also really enjoy the various activities and events the Union provides for students. The university overall is very welcoming to students.
I love Dundee University, there’s lots to do and great ways to meet other students!
Overall, a very good experience.
I cannot see a reason as not to love the university of dundee. To me it's more than a place of learning.
The school is amazing and nice
Student Union is a little low on activity but it is understandable due to the issues with the building itself.
The map is not very clear. A lot of campus information is not easy to find
Nice and friendly lecturers who are approachable.
I am more than satisfied with everything provided. As regards to sports clubs, I would suggest hiring more coaches to accommodate players of different levels. However, the social life here at Dundee is striving and there's many opportunities to meet new people which is great
So many clubs and societies to join and meet people as well as a great union
it's good, I haven't had a bad expert
Some of my favourite memories at uni have come from being part of the netball and badminton club. My best advice is to join a sports club or society as it is so much fun and very stress relieving!
Great spaces and societies have been the best part about coming to uni
It's good, though there are the occasional issues with striking and management, overall very satisfied.
Great facilities with a huge variety of stuff.
So-so. I feel that the Covid pandemic greatly showed the failings of the uni and the lack of support available during this time made it a struggle. Truthfully, there has been the same level of support even after the end of the pandemic. I am just glad I am finished.
I had a great time. The university and my course structure was brilliant
Pretty good campus, all near each other and good online services
Great University, both for studying & various entertainment!
Was good, got to meet lots of people
Great team and nice experience.
