Excellent experience from the start, the flat was clean when I moved in and that standard of cleanliness was maintained throughout the year in the communal areas. The location was excellent and very close to the University. The accommodation gives an excellent opportunity to make life long friends

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Overall all issues I have experienced have been swiftly dealt with have been quickly taken care of for example when the washing machine broke. Moreover the maintenance of the close and outdoor spaces has been excellent
I am glad the maintenance team are quick to react to your repairs, and your experience has been positive. Thanks for your feedback :)
I think Seabraes is a great place to meet other students whilst also being very close to campus and shops. The rooms are spacious and I love the advantage of having an En-suite.
Thank you for you review , we are please you enjoyed the location and the facilities provided at Seabraes
Really great accommodation, plenty of storage space and great location, lovely people here also!
Thank you for your great review!
i think my accompdation is in a very good location however it is quite pricey considering that the actual rooms are not the best
thanks for your review - sorry you feel the price is high - the rent also includes all bills, access to the University WiFi, 24 hr security and maintenance.
The location is fabulous, being on campus but not quite as central as Belmont creates a great community and allows you to feel like you have your own private space outwith the bussieness of the uni. The maintenance team are incredible, so friendly and all problems are fixed very promptly
thanks for your great review - especially the Comments about the team!
accommodation is nice very central and plenty of support when u need it. great place to meet friends and flats are very safe with great security 24/7
Thank you for you great review!
Lovely location and the social experience is amazing although we have had issues with heating, Wi-Fi and appliances provided so it does feel slightly overpriced but I do love living there.
Thanks for your review - If you have any issues with the facilities, let us know as we aim to get things fixed as soon as is possible. Sorry you have experience a few issues since moving in.
Really enjoying my time here so far! It’s really well located and set up perfectly for studying and having a social life too. I’ve been able to put my own spin on my room and my flatmates and I are having the best time together! My room is spacious and offers a good amount of storage so I can have all my clutter and it still looks tidy, the accommodation is so well set up and the staff are so lovely, the common room is also great! It has various games and stuff like that and also a tv with Netflix and other streaming services, you can go down there in a big group of friends or by yourself and have a nice time
Thanks for your great review!
So far I have enjoyed my time here. The room is a lot better than I ever imagined. It is very spacious with lots of storage space. The bathroom is also a great size. I haven’t had any issues.
Thanks for your review!
Really nice, comfortable accommodation in a good location
thanks for your review!
It’s a nice accommodation and peaceful place where students can learn and interact with their classmates
Thank you for your review :)
It was very close to big tescos and had plenty of places nearby to shop, eat and more. It was especially good for me as an art student as the art building was 5 mins walk away
Thank you for your review and we are pleased the location of Seabraes was good for you!
Great location to the uni, a really short walk up. Also such an ideal location for big tesco while still being so close to the uni and town. Wifi was really really good, literally better than my wifi at home. There is a hill walking up to the uni but it’s not too bad. Common room was really nice however I probably only actually went in it once or twice lol. Overall Seabraes slayed :)
thank you for your review! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Seabraes!
Really liked how friendly the staff are and how punctual they are when the fire alarm is off. Even when there is a situation in the flat there would always be a staff on site that would be able to help us until the issue is resolved. Thank you!
Thank you for your review. it is great to get positive feedback on our services and staff responsiveness :)
Excellent experience from the start, the flat was clean when I moved in and that standard of cleanliness was maintained throughout the year in the communal areas. The location was excellent and very close to the University. The accommodation gives an excellent opportunity to make life long friends
We are please you enjoyed your stay -thanks for your review!
Good location, close to uni, laundry facilities were temporarily off but majority of the time were all good, size of flats was big, old seabreas could change to turn lights off in the kitchens
Thanks for your feedback, we have taken on board the comment re the kitchen lights
Very good experience had in Dundee sanctuary student accom, however price is very high for what it is.
Thank you for your comments, and we are sorry you did not feel the accommodation was value for money. The all inclusive price includes all utilities, 24/7 staffing and security and WiFi and wired connections to the University network.
Super homely, very good experience, great people!
thank you for your review!
Had such a great time living in seabraes. Met many amazing people, always felt comfortable and safe, good location and janitor/ other staff always available to help. Only downside is that it is incredibly expensive
Thank you for your review!
Stayed in Seabraes 33-64, great location, property was very well kept and was very pleasant to stay in.
Thank you for your review - we are pleased you enjoyed your stay in Seabraes II
I had a great time in Dundee Seabraes even though I didn’t get on well with my flat mates there were plenty of opportunities to meet people from other flats and make friends. Having a private bathroom was also an amazing amentity.
thank you for your feedback!
Good location being close to the university campus paired with the newly looking Seabraes common room. Area is cleaned often despite the student living area.
Thank you for your feedback!
Lovely flats, staff are so kind and helpful
Thank you for your review - it is lovely to read that you have found the team kind and helpful - thankyou!
The new Seabraes court building is in a great location that is close to both the university and the riverside tesco. The room and the kitchen inside the flat are very spacious and bright. All the staff are helpful and kind. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this accommodation to other students.
Thank you for your kind review. We are pleased you have enjoyed your stay at Seabraes and would recommend the accommodation to others!
Seabraes is a good place to live. However, I have experienced some problems with my flat. For example, the front door to the flat broke off, the radiators stopped working in the winter and our keys to the front door of the flat were difficult to use in the lock. The facilities such as laundry are good and easy to use. Staff are nice and helpful.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry you experienced some maintenance issues in the flat. We are pleased that you found the team nice and helpful :)
