Great university. Can’t get better
Love living around campus, love working in the student union. There’s always something going on. I’ve only been away for summer 2 months and I wish I was back at uni
An amazing University that really cares about its students.
Union is class, 3 nights a week and still always somehow keeping it fresh. Always support for anything you need and I mean anything. Wifi has just been updated for outside use and is better than ever
Really enjoy studying at Dundee. It’s a great place to make genuine friends and get a great education.
The University of Dundee has been so amazing this year. I was made to feel so welcome by everyone, other students and staff, that Dundee now feels like home, even though I’ve only lived there 9 months. The university has excellent teachers and state of the art facilities, and the union is excellent, as are the many Societies!
So far I’ve made so many friends and had the time of my life. I love my course and the campus and am looking forward to the next 3 years.
Great uni great city would recommend to anyone living cost is non existent people are wonderful you can’t loose
Incredibly supportive and brilliant university in many ways. Made the right decision choosing the University of Dundee over the Uni. of Glasgow and Edinburgh as I do not feel I would have received the same level of support. Dundee uni puts the needs, safety and well-being of its students before anything else. The teaching is fantastic, the nightlife is great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience or University

I am having the best time at this university, freshers week was amazing and the nightlife is great for any young student. I am also enthralled by my biomedical sciences course.
The university immediately made me feel welcome. And have always cared more about the students than their work. Also the union is amazing, is reasonably priced and has one if not the best nightclubs in dundee
Wifi never works and careers is s*** no help
Absolutely brilliant, such a great place
Halls are overpriced, staff are very unhelpful, union is not universal for everyone and Wi-Fi is never accessible
In general ,the port's union ,the library , and the dental school facilities are very good and organised.Generally speaking, the staff everywhere is friendly ,responsible and keen to help. I am happy that I have chosen the university :)
The facilities at the university could be better but as far as the social element goes between the students union holding constant events, and the amount of clubs and societies available there is always something happening. I’ve visited friends and went to various other student unions across Northern Ireland Scotland and England and nothing has came close to DUSA yet and any friends who come to visit have said the same.
I’m in my third and final year at the UoD, it has been the best three years of my life and I can’t wait to come back to carry out my masters in the newer future! Staff are second to none and will help you through any issues, personal or academic, not to mention the social activities that can be undertaken at the university!
I have loved my time at Dundee Unitersity and I am very sad that I only have one semester left. The staff are always happy to help and are very engaging when teaching. The various teaching methods (lectures, workshops, practicals and field trips) give a well rounded learning experience and allows people of differing learning styles to thrive. I highly recommend Dundee both for learning and social life, and would definitely consider doing another degree here.
It is a great uni, with great resources and facilities, close to the town with a great union and support

Dundee’s great you instantly feel welcome and at home the staff are friendly and keen to help you as well as other students being welcoming
I feel that the university has got a service available for all of its students needs, whether it be academic, religious, sexual safety and leisure. It’s also provides a night bus that runs from 8pm on to early hours in the morning, which ensures the safety of all students trying to get home.
The union is the best for sure, all the educational buildings are closed to each other , easy to assess . The sport building has sufficient facilities to let the student to do the sport
Amazing university with staff who are so enthusiastic about their subjects. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and the uni has so many events on throughout the year so you can never get bored!
Best university I could have ever chosen to study in. Unlimited internet for all my studying needs and endless societies to choose from. They have everything you could ever ask for on campus and there’s always someone you can talk to if you’re struggling.
I've had a fab time as a student in Dundee, and met some of the best people I've ever known. It's a pretty small city (you can walk from one end to the other in an hour), but already feels like home. Life sciences at Dundee uni are amazing and there is so much fantastic research going on that it feels great to be sat in the hub of.
Dundee university is a fantastic university with really good facilities and excellent staff. Both the union and the library which has recently been refurbished are both excellent

The WiFi is terrible in student accommodation. I think its a mediocre university to be honest.
UOD is an absolutely amazing uni that ensures every student gets the best out of their degree they can. The uni offers many services to help with your degree as well as other areas that might need a bit of focus on (mental health). The student union is also amazing in the sense it provides everything you need in one place. The campus is very central making it easy to get to and from. 100% would recommend

I love the city and the campus, it's wee but very very cosy and the people are like family. There is a big presence of international students which for me is very important as i am an international student living away from home. It makes it way easier to integrate if you feel welcome, which I do

Amazing university, with brilliant lecturers
The university offers lots of opportunities to improve not only in your choosen study field, but also diffrent others with it's over 150 societies, 60 clubs and encouragement for innovation through company start up funds and establishment help.
a first year student at university of dundee and have already loved every moment. the people are wonderful and the staff really help out the students in any way they can
In my first year I have already found that everyone is very helpful and the courses are structured
Dundee has a compact campus making the amount of people you encounter higher compared to other uni's thus creating a very friendly community within the university. The lecturers are also free most of the time for any questions you need and will make alot of time for their students. The only downside is that some of the foreign lecturers are hard to understand speaking/writing.

Brilliant University in an up and coming city. Great night life, top class facilities, best union in Scotland and offers a wide range if course including medicine, dentistry, law and engineering.
Getting involved might seem treaky for any fresher, but in Dundee its not a problem! Lovely people and University staff is always willing to help, all you need is not to be afraid to ask. Student Union is great, many activities and active societies that makes campus very vibrant and buzzing! <3
A fantastic university at the heart of a vibrant city that is undergoing a massive transformation! I moved from Glasgow with low expectations and was totally blown away.
active and diligent supervisors, good students' association, good sport's union, good librarians, good IT workers, and a well-equipped library, which houses audio-visual rooms, study carrels, display and reading rooms and stacks.
active and hard working staff. Everything is good generally. the dental school is good and there are many activities that I can do. people are nice and friendly.
If you're looking to come get drunk and/or be really social and not drunk you'll love UoD. Best nights out in the country if you're drunk.

The campus ranges from old buildings to new and modern which creates a nice and balanced mix.
Dundee university is definitely suited to all kinds of people. The union is fantastic but I wish they could play more gigs or live events etc during the year

Excellent all round student experience. Practical city for students as all amenities are close by so there is little travel cost. Dundee is friendly, and the university is fantastic!
I've ben a student at UoD for 2 years and it's without a doubt the best university in Scotland. The art school is world class, the research facilities are phenomenal and the student association does all it can to get students involved form creative takes on manifesto design to support for student DJs and promotional staff.
Great university with helpful staff in all areas. Doesn't matter if it is a uni problem or personal, they're always there to help or advice. A lot of opportunities in different areas - a lot of great societies and clubs.

Excellent campus, dedicated staff and a good reputation
I came to Dundee from Wales. I didn't know anyone and I had never lived in the city before. Dundee uni made me feel so welcome. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the facilities are absolutely amazing, any questions, issues, queries there is always someone you can ask. The lecturers and all the other staff are amazing. And so is the accommodation. They really do look out for you here.

Amazing campus Great uni Union is brilliant Wifi can be patchy
having a university campus within such a small city really connects all the students. it means you dont lose contact with other courses students.
Amazing is all I can say, brill atmosphere! Everybody talks to one another and there's never a lack of things to do.
