Lovely area, buildings and lecturers
Such a freindly experience. As someone who commutes - I found people who I can connect with and share my interests with. The modules I do are taught by professionals and there are workshops Devi cafes to help you on your journey to academic success
Studying Software Engineering at Cardiff University has been a transformative experience, offering a mix of rigorous academics, practical experience, and an engaging campus environment. The Software Engineering program is well-structured, balancing theoretical foundations with hands-on coding and real-world problem-solving. The modules cover a broad spectrum of topics, from object-oriented programming and algorithms to more specialized areas like machine learning and cybersecurity. I’ve appreciated the variety in teaching methods, from traditional lectures to project-based learning, which really helps in understanding how concepts apply to real-world scenarios. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, often open to discussion and providing support outside of lecture hours.
I've enjoyed being here, have met lots of great people and the lecturers are amazing
Burt clean and safe accommodation
The university is amazing and the staff are exceptionally helpful. Studying a course like medicine is already tough but having a university like cardiff has made life so much easier. I would choose this university every time if I had to study again.
Cardiff uni is gd. Talybont north is not.
Amazing and helpful professor and really good
Eduroam is very inconsistent and unreliable, especially with the older buildings where the internet rarely works in the lecture theatres. Aside from that, the university has an amazing buzz with lots always going on, plenty of opportunities for everyone and is generally a brilliant place to study. The school I am in (psychology) has been consistently brilliant in what they promote and the teaching quality is outstanding with lots of materials suggested to enhance your learning or to look at out of personal curiosity
I enjoy the unuversity life because of caring ISC tutors.
