Cambrian staff is very polite. Niraj and Abhinav were very helpful. Rooms are spacious and has common area with fun games.
It’s a good university and there’s not much to complain about. maybe more freebies at the freshers fair?
Hi. I am so glad that you have enjoyed being a student at Cardiff University! This is useful feedback and I will make sure I pass this on to the Students' Union. Thanks, Sophie
I’ve had such a positive experience at Cardiff University! The Student Union is absolutely fantastic—they’re always hosting events, supporting societies, and creating a vibrant campus life. There’s something for everyone, and they make you feel truly connected and involved. The Career Service is another standout. They’re incredibly supportive, offering a range of resources, workshops, and one-on-one guidance to help us build our skills and prepare for future careers. They also bring in recruiters and hold career fairs, which is great for networking and exploring different paths. Plus, the overall university atmosphere is so welcoming. There’s a strong sense of community, and the support systems here, from academic advisors to mental health resources, make a real difference. The library is another fantastic resource, offering an impressive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, along with quiet study spaces and group areas to suit every study need.
I am doing bsc medicinal chemistry right now, great uni, I really enjoy studying here
I really enjoyed my time here. It sounds incredibly cliche but I trully made firneds that I hope will be with me for the rest of my life and have developed as a person tremendously. I especially espreciated the multiple events in the CSl that offered guidance on taking notes during lectures, study techniques, and LinkedIn use 101 - they were amazing and I truly appreciated them!
I am very satisfied with my stay at Zenith Cardiff. From the first day I moved in, I felt the environment was very safe, with 24-hour security giving me peace of mind. The room design is modern and comfortable, with a soft bed and cozy decor that make it feel very homey. The little decorations on the wall add warmth to the entire space. The facilities here are abundant and cater to different needs. Besides basic study and living areas, there’s a karaoke bar, gaming area, gym, and a cinema room for entertainment. The weekly yoga classes are also a great way to relax. The rooftop terrace is a pleasant surprise, offering stunning views and is a perfect spot to unwind. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help with any issues, making me feel right at home. Overall, the atmosphere here is warm and comfortable, making it an ideal choice for student accommodation.
Overall, Cardiff is a great university to attend and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at here! The facilities are great, with a picturesque main building. The lecture theatres are pretty good, but many lack plugs. The lecturers (especially in the EARTH school) are very friendly, knowledgeable and produce very interesting lectures about current science and studies. Societies are well run, fun to join and great if you want to try something new (at a small cost however). We have many lectures on next steps in our careers, with job opportunities emailed to us weekly, many lectures and talks with Student Futures and chances for meeting with Career Advisers to enhance CVs, cover letters and job applications.
A very good university with lots of facilities and opportunities.
