Quite a nice place to study at, and lots of opportunities to try out. People are nice and the teaching is awesome in JOMEC. There are flaws, but people are nice. I do feel I'm getting plenty of support here.
Uni is uni, I learn what I chose and then do my essays all in preparation for getting my degree at the end of next year
I came to CU through clearing. I was told that I was guaranteed accommodation, heard nothing for 2.5 weeks and then told they couldn’t accommodate me. Despite the hard struggle of finding a place to live, Cardiff University has been great. The Students Union is a highlight with everything you need. My teachers are great (I have a small / niche course, people in larger courses don’t feel the same). Some buildings and facilities are run down but the student life is brilliant.
It was a great experience. One of the top ranked universities in the UK.

The university has top of the range facilities with high quality lecturers and great opportunities. First year accommodation provided by the university is disappointing and the uni experience suffered due to COVID however that is little fault in the uni itself. Overall a great uni with top of the range facilities

Internet quality is variable and supports are confusing to access. Uni staff work hard and mostly are supportive. Love the course I'm studying!
