Great place to stay in Sheffield. Quiet and cosy.
Hello and thank you for taking the time to send a review, we really appreciate it !. I am happy to hear that you like your flat. It's a lovely location to live in. Best wishes, Sharon
Whilst it is situated in a nice area within Sheffield, the block is a good 30 minute walk from the campus with the nearest shops being 15-20 minutes and those shops are limited in size and stock. I've greatly struggled to socialise here and feel as though I haven't gained anything by being here versus private accommodation, which is generally better value for money, or home
Terrible wifi that always cuts out, Ethernet cable doesn’t work (at least right now)
Apartments are much nicer and cleaner than those in Endcliffe, and the social experience is pretty much the same (uni is what you make it) Ranmoor does however have a lack of social space since closure of the ridge. WiFi can be temperamental but is usually very fast.
Good but endcliffe is a better location
Love it
For first year accommodation the kinder apartments were pretty good although the university accommodation in general is a little bit expensive. However, you do get everything sorted for you so you don't have to worry about renting a house or paying bills and the area that the accommodation is in is close to some shops and is very easy to get to the uni. It could be improved in terms of matching students as although my flat mates weren't awful, they could have been better as I was awoken by flat parties a couple of times. Overall, I would go back into student accommodation but I prefer private housing.
Quieter than endcliffe but amazing kitchens and the ridge is better than the edge if people actually use it
