The rooms are nice but the management is so poor. I’ve been told about different flatmates in the mail, but when i checked in and came it wasn’t the same. However, made some friends in other apartments, and when contacted the management team to exchange room with a person who was mutually interested to do the same with me, they are informing that they will need to increase the rent? Like how does that even make sense? When we are mutually ready to exchange our rooms what’s the issue I don’t understand? How can u expect to get same rent from different floors? Nobody even concerned about the issue with your apartment, i really regret paying straight for 51 weeks over here. Mailed twice later on but “NO REPLY” since Friday. Living in the apartment that i am now is mentally exhausting for me and “TRUE” doesn’t give a ****. We come from other countries considering this as our home and family and this is what we receive. The mail team I don’t know why they are so rude!! I’ve asked to send my

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Don’t live here! Your neighbours will bang your door and scream in the corridor every night, even at 4:30! Some staffs are racist on Asian.

True student is incredibly overpriced for what you actually receive. I have lived here for a year now and massively regret it. Months without Wi-Fi (A STUDENT NECESSITY), Blackouts in buildings, rude staff, constantly broken amenities (Washers, Dryers, Gym equipment), rooms without working fire alarms, ignored maintenance requests, not closed social spaces etc I was unlucky an got stuck in a flat where my “flatmates” do not talk to me, they constantly ignore me and leave the kitchen whenever I enter. When I spoke to reception about moving rooms the response I received was that if I didn’t like living here then I should just move out. They didn’t ask why I was unhappy or offer any sort of advice on how to fix this, just told me to get someone to take over my contract and leave. I would highly recommend Ablett House, I live there the year before and am returning this year. Although some accommodations aren’t as “boujee” as True Student, they sure as hell are worth the cost.
