Europa Biography
Europa offers a variety of en suite apartments in Liverpool. The property is an eleven-minute walk from the University of Liverpool and an eighteen-minute walk from Liverpool John Moores University. Liverpool city centre is a fifteen-minute bus ride away and is filled with bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops.
At Europa, you can enjoy a wide selection of on-site amenities including a lounge, games room, a quiet study area, secure bike storage and laundry facilities. The award-winning on-site Residents’ Team are always thinking up ways to entertain residents, with a full calendar of events throughout the year. Hey, there are several shops about five minutes away from the accommodation, Tesco express, One Stop then further down around ten minutes slow walk is a Lidl, Chinese supermarket.
There is also a subway, Pizza hut, papa johns & Starbucks around the corner.

The most useless place anyone can stay at. Apart from the lift nothing is good here. But on the move out day the lift was not working and they did not send any one to help. Apart from that, the lift for a block was not working for a month. the wifi for one block was not working for another month. The maintainence is absolutely b*******, problems with hot water, cold water, chairs, mattresses, microwaves are daily. Once our hob stopped working just 2 weeks after move in. the team is pathetic and unhelpful. worst place to live. The staff is very rude. There are no updates about the deposit too. The gate is closed, which makes you circle the entire london road and then enter through that small green gate. There is another gate but we do not have access for that.

I was promised an accomodation all set and clear but upon arrival due to some maintenance that's taking forever to get done, I'm staying in a different room which I didn't sign up for. Not fair, not just!

Possibly one of the worst places to live, constantly up hill battling with them to talk to us with hidden chrages and mistskes made on their end meaning we were upcharged, Rubbish strewn all over the path every morning and the security where awful at breaking up any kind of fight, which where frequent. our oven was faulty and broken for over 3 months before the eventually came and fixed it depsite knowing from day 1 and us making constant email check-ins and going to the recpetion to check in aswell, and then no compensation was given. the gates all being broke and the only entrance being a tiny gate on the main road ypu have to walk round the whole of london road to get into. Rats and silverfish galore. Not to mention the areas really bad, the amount of harassment i recived just going to tescos was insane.It is absoluelty awful I cannot empahasises enough do not live here.

loved my stay! i love the rooms, the small green garden area downstairs and some of the people around. the rooms are comfortable and feels homey. the location of the building is also fine. closer to tesco and lidl. overall great accommodation!

I really enjoyed living one year in Europa. The staff is super friendly and the experience I had in this accommodation was really amazing.
The people in-charge are very polite and very helpful. They conduct social events that are very amazing and helpful in making connection
The rooms are such good value for money although the room was not perfectly cleaned out when I moved in, there were still random attachments on the walls that were broken. Had some issues when moving in that were resolved promptly. Social space could have been a lot more, but was renovated when I moved out.

I am a resident in Europa accommodation and everyday am glad that I chose this accommodation. Am in a ensuite with my own private bedroom and bathroom. It's spacious enough. I feel very comfortable here and it feels home. Any complaints that's been made has been considered by the management and there is a Constant communication.

One of the best student accommodations in Liverpool. Rooms and shared areas have ample of space. Plus the staff is very helpful and friendly. They will unhesitatingly support you if you want to celebrate your local festivals or organise a get together, just like they helped us out during Diwali.

Very friendly and accommodating staff who are always keen to help out. Corridors regularly cleaned by cleaners who have them looking super fresh. Apartments have cosy, home feeing rooms with comfy beds and large desk area.

The rooms are great value for money and the facilities at the accommodation are great, the only issue is that our flat had some damage issues when we moved in, and only a few have been rectified after bringing this up. Staff are very approachable and friendly though and respond to emails quickly, and there are always things taking place in the social space. The only other thing is that it is a little bit further away from the city centre than other accommodations but this is made clear on the website. Also you cannot get into the accommodation unless you are a tenant which makes me feel very safe and security are on-site 24/7 which is reassuring!
The place is great in terms of privacy, location and access to the Univeristy.

Any issues have been dealt with immediately by the lovely ladies and reception. You always see the lovely cleaner and it’s always clean.
A good priced accommodation for the area. Nothing special but the standard ensuite bedroom and decently spacious living/kitchen area. Definitely enough room in the cupboards, fridge and freezer and maintenance are quick whenever anything is needed. They organise great social events and the reception is always very helpful. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed for a second year I loved my room so much! The rooms are cosy and comfortable and having an en-suite is a bonus. The staff are always lovely and do the most to make us comfortable and happy.

My experience at Europa can be summed up quite easily, I have rebooked for my third year due to the quality of the accommodation and have really enjoyed my stay thus far.
Europa offers plenty of well managed facilities and is easily within walking distance of the University of Liverpool Campus. The staff are friendly and maintenance is well handled if any issues occur. Overall it is great value for money and even during the pandemic everything was handled professionally with safety precautions.
Been here two years, had no issues. Pretty standard flat but reception is class whenever you need them.
Europa is a great accommodation in my opinion. It offers great rooms and the people I have met there are wonderful! I’ve made friends and good relationships with the people in my kitchen group and also a couple outside. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, there were more safety precautions and the staff of Europa took this very seriously and made the facility safe. The staff is joyful and always willing to help. Europa is also located in a great spot: close to all of the universities in Liverpool.

Overpriced for facilities, showers are awful, dodgy WiFi at times. Floor in flat never gets warm even with heater on due to it being laminate. Constant emails are a bit annoying as well. Great location in terms of my campus and town centre. Kitchen is very big and spacious for chilling. Need a much better post system as I've not received letters and parcels from reception after they had been delivered. Television is about the same size as a laptop and is in a weird place for socialising.
Good staff, but since we cannot use everything usually available to us during covid in the accommodation we should not be charged full rent

The absolute friendliest of staff, they always make you feel like you're at home. The facilities are great, with an amazing social space. It really is like a little community here at Europa, I couldn't recommend it more!
I’ve only been here a short while but the staff make you feel so at home. Everyone of them is very friendly and helpful with everything. Rooms are very spacious and all you would need. Short walk to town and loads of buses nearby. Perfect if your a medical student as 5 minute walk to royal hospital.

i love it here, the location is great as it’s not far from town but as it’s not in the centre there a parks really close as well as the view point. the staff are so amazing and are always so helpful. the rooms and kitchen are really good value for money in comparison to some further into the centre, i love it and don’t want to leave :)
Though due to corona I've not been in my dorm much, the staff have been really nice and called me to make sure I'm doing okay regularly due to me being high risk

Europa has all the necessities required for student life, from a high level of security to easy access to surrounding universities. The staff here at Europa are what sets it apart from other accommodations, whether you have an important query or just want to pop in for a chat, the friendly faces at reception are always happy to see you.

amazing accommodation, my gold room is a great size for the price, staff are amazing, so lovely and helpful, i feel really at home. it’s only 10 minutes walk to the centre so it’s not far but it also slightly quieter because it’s not right in the centre which is also good. would definitely recommend staying here!
All of the staff are lovely and friendly and it's super close to campus. It is a bit expensive though, but that's the only downside.

I was an international student staying at Europa during my time in Liverpool and I found the staff to be quite friendly and helpful. I had no real issues with anything and management was always able to assist me if I have any questions.
Absolutely perfect! The staff are so so lovely and they always made me feel so welcome and safe! The flats are great value for money and become a real home away from home! Whilst I was sent home suddenly because of coronavirus, the staff took the extra care to water my plants that I had to leave behind, which I think displays the level of care they provide! Cannot recommend enough!!!
I didn't enjoy my stay here. Slow wifi, small social space, dangerous and slightly dodgy location, no cleaners and a bad handling of rent with COVID-19 (forcing students to pay and not telling anyone anything). The buildings are also too close together and it does not feel homely or comfortable.
Awful location, the security is a joke, rats in the greenery, broken furniture, dodgy WiFi and maintenance issues that takes weeks to fix. Now forcing their students to pay almost 2k for a room they have vacated in a pandemic out of greed.
handled corona virus poorly!! backstabbed tenants by telling them not to email and that they would be contacted as soon as they had information, then emailed only a very small number based on a criteria that seemed completely made up. Still haven’t contacted the other people, and staff also knew for weeks and told a few people who came to see them face to face. Very unprofessional on the landlords part, and fresh student livings, and has caused a lot of stress to the tenants in the building

Disappointing! Avoid these halls! Due to recent events of the Covid-19, the accommodation after 7 weeks of silence about rent payments, had decided to let some people off from paying the rent and some have to pay due to made up dates and unexplained reasoning that they did not inform students prior of making the changes. After a number of students complained, they chose to ignore their complaints and have gone completely silent and have left us waiting for response again. Very disappointed and confused during these hard times.
Very bad handling from management. Chosen profit over care for tennants. Severe lack of communication. Now, picking and choosing which students will have to pay based on emails. After being told we would be informed of any changes to the cancellation policy back in early April, they have out of the blue decided a cut off date and therefore forcing people to pay. I would avoid this accommodation, especially when all friends living in town have had their rent cancelled. Very poor from the landlord...
Awful handling of rent during corona pandemic!! landlord has chosen profits over students by refusing to communicate with tenants and then creating a rule with no validity in which only some students pay but then not sticking to it. People are being made to pay for rooms they’ve vacated after europa themselves assured them they had nothing to worry about.
Absolutely shocking. Worst student accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty. The facilities are broken upon arrival. Our flat door didn’t lock so multiple random people have been in our flat. DANGEROUS! Not good value for money. Awful location in the middle of nowhere. The company have no care for the students that pay to live there as they are expected to pay their third rent of £1,800 although everyone has to stay 2M’S away. The social space is closed. And Europa won’t hold the post anymore for the people living there. If anyone is thinking of spending their money on living at europa don’t. Wish I never did absolute CON !!!!!!!

I am on my 1st year at Europa and I made the right choice with this accommodation. It might not have a gym or cinema but there are always plenty of events put on by the staff and they are the friendliest staff ever. Nothing is too much trouble. There is a real community feel at Europa and it is all gated, so you feel safe. the rooms all have double beds and en suites (which is what I prefer). It takes me 15 minutes to walk to Uni from Europa.
My stay at Europa has been lovely. I am a clearing student and was put into hear. I originally had low expectations when coming here only because it wasn't the official uni accommodation but was pleasantly surprised with very nice staff. I've met all the best people here as well. One downside would be the location, it's about a 40 min walk to the centre and a 20 minute walk to the UOL. It just isn't much of a nice area. But lovely people here.
I'm from Portugal, and I moved to Liverpool in the first semester of 18/19 and I stayed from Set until Jan. I remember like it was the first day when I and my colleagues arrived they already were expecting us with a big smile. Although my English was not the best, I didn't have any problems with that, all my doubts were clarified by the staff, and I have all the help I could. The room was good and cosy such as the kitchen, but the couch...It was a 3.5 on a scale of 5. Every week you have a special day to celebrate or some sweet in the social space or on the reception. I miss all the waffles with strawberries and chocolate, the hot chocolate and hot dogs too! Honestly, I didn't miss my home because we were treated like a family by then. On Christmas, they send us an email to check who was going home or stay on the Europa so they could do something for us to turn our Christmas a little warm. For me, that's like family and that's why I recommend Europa if you are going to study at LP
Europa is a lovely accomodation, the rooms are great with a variety to appeal to all budgets. The staff are lovely and there's social events and things to get involved in over the year. Highly recommend.
Full of rats by the bins, poor utilities such as warm water running when the cold tap is on, poor internet unless wired and small social space. However, the staff are absolutely spot on, very nice and genuine people and have been a pleasure to stay with over the past year.
Europa is a great place to stay and start your life away from home. The rooms aren’t typical student rooms - the wooden floors make for a nice change from grim carpets like in other halls. The en-suite is great and the layout of the bedroom is brilliant for storing all your stuff and making it homely. I think it’s overpriced to a certain extent because it’s on the edge of town and other halls at this price have a weekly cleaner. The kitchen is great and so spacious and feels like a proper flat you’d rent in town. The staff at europa are incredibly friendly and always willing to help - no matter how many times I come in asking if my parcels have arrived yet! There’s a Tesco right behind it which is super convenient and Lidl is 2 minutes away. Overall has been the perfect place and I’ve loved staying here!
I was terrified of moving to university and i really didn’t want to go once it was too late to change my mind however the second i moved in to europa i was absoloutley fine! after spending almost a year there i was actually sad to leave. the staff are so so lovely and helpful, and freebie friday was genius so helpful for the day after a night out! the rooms are really spacious and you get a double bed which is amazing and surprisingly comfy. the only issues we had as a flat was a large hole in the boiler door from the previous people living in the flat which was sorted straight away and was replaced with a brand new door and our fridge/ freezer and microwave broke which were both replaced with brand new ones which is lovely. any maintenance problems you have are sorted super fast. the night security is really good too i felt very safe in the building. it is a 10/15 minute walk from redmonds building and a 10 minute walk from lime street and the city centre! i had the best year here!
I have lived here now for a year and I’m sad to be leaving for the summer! The team in reception are amazing and know everyone by name and are always going above and beyond to make the students happy. The rooms are a lot bigger than any others I went to see and the kitchens are too. I can’t wait to come back in September for my second year here! Can’t recommend Europa enough thank you guys!!
For what you get in terms of kitchen /room the price is slightly steep however the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that work here certainly make up for that, really made my first year living away from home a great one. They organise plenty of events within the halls that give you a chance to meet people and give out of free food and drink. If you have any problems with flatmates or maintenance wise in rooms staff are very responsive and go the extra mile to sort you out. The location is pretty good, just far enough from the town centre to be away from all the business and noise but a 10/15 minute walk from both John Moore campuses and close enough from town to avoid having to pay for a taxi after a night out. Plenty of coffee shops, grocery shops and take aways within a 5 minute walk aswell which is really handy. 2Absolutely loved my stay here and would 100% recommend
Great internet, and the location is perfect, not in the heart of the town but in a quiet but accessible area with low noise pollution. Made the best friends I could have through this accomodation, and they are amazing for student support. Could not fault a thing about the team at all, they work above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience living at Europa that you possibly could have, lived here one year and looking to rebook!
Stayed in this accommodation for 2 years and I must say it was a great decision. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, especially when I first arrived. They organise plenty of events for the residents. Also a very safe and secure residence with constant security. Also the area around there is plenty to do and is only a short walk from multiple university buildings and town. The staff them selves helped me out many of times even if it was just with a chat or if I needed help with a certain something. As for the rooms, very spacious with a decent sized bed and an ensuite. Considering how much stuff I brought to uni I never expected to fit it in my room but thankfully it was big enough to do so. As for the kitchen etc plenty of room there and sofas and TV etc. Must say I couldn't have picked a better accommodation and will remember those 2 years and the friends I made for the rest of my life.
After spending my first year in university owned accommodation, I can say without a doubt that this is the best accommodation in Liverpool. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and all the staff are more than willing to help with any problems you may have. The site and the rooms are really modern and well secured, and there is always someone on site 24/7. I can't wait to stay here again next year!

Europa is great for students, all rooms are ensuite and the staff are kind and helpful. I broke the lock on my room and within an hour maintenance came up and fixed it for me. The receptionists are always happy to help and are happy to help with any problems you could have. Staff are available 24 hours so any concerns at any time can be addressed. There are also plenty of parties and other fun things being organised, like movie nights. I’d recommend europa to any student studying in Liverpool.
After living in Europa for a few months, I can safely say it is one of the best accommodation blocks in Liverpool. The rooms are spacious and modern and make a perfect second home for any student. The team in the office cannot do enough to help you and are so lovely to have a quick chat and catch up with and answer any questions you have about the accommodation or the city. It’s around a five minute walk to the University of Liverpool and a 15 minute walk to the centre of town so it’s perfect for a night out and for lectures. There are multiple locked doors which you must pass through to get into your block so it’s very safe and well worth the money! Already rebooked for the rest of my uni time.

About a 15 minute walk to the uni and a 15-20 minute walk to town. Management is great look after all problems very swiftly. There is a cannabis problem though and the halls are very much filled with the smell. Staff don't really do anything about it, which is a little annoying. Maintainence people are great and fix everything very quickly. At night it can be very loud as some blocks are by a main road, also many parties go on. The closest shops are Lidl and Tesco express which are less than 5 minutes walk each. Kitchens don't come with kettles or toasters and some (I've heard) didn't come with microwaves. Rooms are of a good size but the walls are VERY thin. The social space is pretty small for the Ammont of students in the accommodation. I would not say this is a great place to live during first year as the area surrounding is a little rough. Somewhere closer to town would probably be safer at night and easier to get to if you go on nights out or class.
Just left Europa after a really easy check out and I've received deposit back already. I loved my time at Europa and I'm really sad to be leaving. The staff are so helpful and always go the extra mile to help you if you need it, maintenance is kept up and if anything breaks it's fixed ASAP. This is by far the best place I lived during my time at university and I'd recommend it to everyone looking for a nice place to stay whilst studying.
Horrendous pricing and will make you pay extortinate, made-up charges for the slightest bit of damage. Slight stains on walls of hallway, charged the flat £300. Good location and internet but if you expect helpful staff/security or to get any of your deposit back do not stay here. Worst student halls I have experienced.

Compared to the large amount and variety of halls that Liverpool has to offer, Europa is massively over priced for what you get. The social space is a joke and provides nothing at all, the pool table you have to pay for, there's an over priced vending machine. The rooms are basic and there are no major perks with a small shower and small living space. The management team however run the place very well and keep everyone updated, they are friendly and approachable. Both go security guards are by far the best thing about Europa with constant chat, they take there duty of care seriously and they provide overall a very good service. Europa whilst it was a good facilities wise is overpriced, has a terrible location for walking home at night as London road is notoriously dangerous at night. They have little to no facilities to offer and charge the extortionate price for what you do get which is the most basic and standard thing. Would not recommend it on facilities at all.

Living at Europa is great. Both the kitchen and bedrooms are spacious and modern with a large 3/4 bed. It takes 15 minutes max to walk to uni (mount pleasant) and 10 to walk into town. Also, the staff are caring and very helpful with whatever is needed, hosting events throughout the year offering food and drink for any occasion. I have enjoyed it here so far with my great flatmates and living in a comfortable, homely room it can't get much better for me.
Europa without a doubt is the best place for any student to stay. The place is so delightful, so bright, and full of energy. Everyone here is so lovely, especially the staff who work to the best of their ability to help ensure that everyone here is happy. The staff are also constantly working on special events that are held here throughout the year, allowing a chance for everyone to come together and celebrate the holidays and meet new people. The atmosphere is great here and even when you don’t want to go out and socialize, there is always the cozy clean rooms to retire to, where the beds are so comfortable and you feel at home.
Leaving home is always a difficult challenge because you're leaving your family and there is nothing like family. However Moving to Europa student accommodation means you're walking straight into another family. From the management to the security guards, Europa accommodation goes over and beyond to ensure everyone is happy and content. I will be eternally great full as it has been a big part of my life, So thank you to Europa Accommodation and I am jealous of those yet to experience it.

Just spent my first year at Europa, From walking in the gate the halls look clean from the outside in. Rooms with double beds, TV, Shower in every room & nice kitchen everything you need! The social space is really modern and has PING PONG & POOL with something going on in there frequently so good to socialise. The management team are always happy to help and go out of their way more often than not, nothing is ever a hassle for them. I am staying here next year as well you cant go wrong.
Nice accomadation, location is great although there isn't a front enterance so you have to use gate by road. It's a 10minute walk into town/university locations e.g John Foster Building and Lime Street Station. Rooms are of a high standard with a 3/4 double bed and ensuite and laminated flooring and under bed storage. Computer chair comes with room as well a heater which is controlled through a timer. Shared living area with two sofas in kitchen/living area as well as big tele with typical free view channels but room for HDMI cable to use laptops/consoles. You have to supple your own kettle, toaster and cooking equipment as well as washing bowl/liquid etc. There is also a big AmericanStyle fridge freezer. 6 people per flat. Have choice whether you want a all girls/all boys or mixed flat (if you book early) 24 hour security to solve any problems you may have. Although noise complaints cannot be made until after 11pm. Can be quite loud on occasions but is a lot better than others.
Our couches are wrecked. Social space is tiny, got a pool table and never any events on. I love our flat though, nice space, good size rooms! Plus, you always know what people are getting up to.. As I am writing this, a consistent this is coming from the flat above.. Ohhhh she's a lucky one..

This hall is the most expensive yet we don't have wifi or a cleaner included in our rent like other less expensive halls. The time it takes to get repairs done is really quite long - I was waiting a month to get my toilet fixed.
