It is a lovely building, a great location with lovely staff who are always more than happy to help. My flat is in great condition, I do wish there was an oven but this was soon sorted with an air fryer. I have loved living here in my final year and wish I had found it sooner!

The Hahnemann Building is located within easy reach from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moore University, and Liverpool Hope University. The accommodation is right on Hope Street, meaning you are surrounded by culture, entertainment, and local amenities.
Students have the opportunity to make new friends in the communal lounge, TV room, games room, reading room, or outside area. You can keep fit and active as you have access to a gym. For an easy and carefree stay, there is WiFi throughout the building, laundry facilities, bike storage, and all-inclusive bills. You’ll sleep soundly knowing there is a friendly onsite management team and CCTV.
You have the choice of staying in a range of premium studios or shared apartments, each of which comes equipped with everything you could possibly need.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Great for students. 4 years in liverpool and first time staying by myself in a studio and wow was it worth it, 5 mins from uni and gym and town for me so I am personally pleased. The heating is a bit of a weird one as it is very cold in the rooms, particularly in the winter. Otherwise, hot water always running which is a blessing, great wifi and laundry service room is OK. Could install an oven into the rooms though as I had to resort to getting an air fryer (life changing)

Been living in The Hahnemann Building for 3 years now and never ran into any major problems. Great value for money if you are looking for a studio that is close to everything like uni, shops and the city centre. They have friendly reception staff too.

Do not book here arrived on the first day to no mattress and complety frozen freezer. Cleary hadn't been checked before I moved in.. The sink plug was struck for weeks. The people who live in this accomdation and the most disrespectful people I have ever met. My neighbour keeps stamping the floor and shouting at all hours of the day. Rang up the 24 hour help line and all they said was well send them a message. Don't east your money on this place I regrsg even looking here. Bring on may so I can get out of this dump of accommodation.

It’s my second day living here and already I moved into a. Room that was nothing like I was shown or told it would be however the staff managed to change my room to a bigger size even though it’s nothing like the one I was promised and I’ve just come in to find a spider the size of my palm in my bathroom (if you can even call it a room) and I’m incredibly afraid of spiders so my initial reaction was to ring hello student who flame they have a 24/7 health and wellbeing service to ask for help however I was met with “ you may have rang us out of hours” and there is no body in reception to speak to either (not that I could get there because there’s a MASSIVE spider in the way). So much for “no1 health and wellbeing service of the year”.
Hey, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our central phone line is open from 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 10am-7pm on the weekends. There will always be someone on site to help you out, if they are not at reception, they may be elsewhere in the building. If something like this does happen again, please log this on your app and we will be with you as soon as we can.

Love living in the hahnemann building in Liverpool!! Booked the same room for my third year of university. A great price for its location, all bills included. Has everything you need. I would recommend to any student coming to Liverpool who is looking for a studio.

Have had fantastic help and service with staff in the accommodation, living in a studio that’s all I can speak on but wow it’s a room I don’t want to leave (and hopefully won’t be for a while). Would recommend for those who want an affordable building only a short walk away from anywhere you want in the city.

Best uni accommodation if you’re looking for a great location, in 3rd year or just looking for somewhere more quiet! I would definitely recommend to a friend. It is straightforward and no messing about. The staff are lovely and always helpful. If there’s an issue with your room, it will be sorted within 2-3 days which is really good! The only fault is there are no social events and most people keep to themselves.
