Ryan’s great craic great building
Good clubs, societies and a students union
Excellent teachers happy with the environment good staff easy to understand
The university is very welcoming and I like it a lot
There is hardly any societies, and the campus could be better with the addition of parking spaces for students etc
WiFi won’t connect anymore on laptop, law society doesn’t do much compared to queens
Brand new campus, the facilities is absolutely unreal, and great location for everything u say , shops, accommodations, nightlife, transportation hubs and within walking distances
I really enjoy my time at Ulster University.
I love Ulster university so much!!!!
i love it so handy to everywhere
One of the most incredible universities in my opinion. Amazing services and staff with an incredible building with areas that make you want to work
The building is modern and has state of the art facilities
Love studying here great campus
Great place to study, has many opportunities for all students
Great teaching staff and very welcoming
Excellent reception will come back.
Very helpful and love the course of law I’m it
Quality tutors and conducive learning environment
Reception could be a bit better
Ulster is very welcoming towards new students
The university campus is amazing and I love it so much
Love ulster university, it's great facilities and friendly staff
Great facilities love the lecture rooms and academy restaurant
A great university and a great location in belfast
Well furnished new building with excellent facilities.
Ulster university is a very modern and great university. The staff are all very welcoming.
Ulster university is great, happy with my choice, it’s location is great and it’s facilities are unreal. The staff are helpful considering it’s a new campus too they try their best
Brilliant facilities and a quality service
Good university, nice to be in, good facilities
Great place to study. Now even better with new campus situated at the heart of the city
an enjoyable experience so far
I was fascinated by the Library services because everything here is online and we can search for a wide range of articles and books etc. by getting access to library platform.
The lecturers are helpful. But student service is really slow. The campus is nice.
lectures are extremely interesting, help us provided when needed from my lecturers, i got to join various sports clubs which i loved
the facilities are amazing and so many opportunities are provided to all students
I am loving my experience at ulster!!
Ulster from my experience has been the most welcoming, inviting and supportive university I have heard of. Attending the classes with top class lectures makes my performance in the course easier.
The new campus is great, with good new facilities and great to see plenty of spaces to study or hang out in between classes
Great university loving my time there!
Love Ulster! Feels like it gets a bad rep because it’s not as distinguished as Queens but in reality it’s ten times better. Such lovely staff and teachers who actually care about you. Never felt lost or like i couldn’t talk to a teacher. Blackboard is easily laid out and assignments are clear and to the point. Don’t have anything to complain about honestly
Some of the courses are finely taught and better than uni across the road. But some are just awful. Many students are from the south or travel from home so social interaction is poor compare to Britian's uni
Biggest dump you could ever go to!!!!
I love this university and I am enjoying my time here.
Ulster university is a great university.
Good staff and very friendly, always helpful
There are many activities and societies to join at UUC however I feel that information about them should be forwarded onto students in others ways than jsut constant emails. There are many sports clubs to join however you do have to pay 70 pounds per sports club u join which I feel is unacceptable and this doesn’t include use of the gym either.
If you want a chilled live and much free time then you should study grafic design at ulster. You won't learn anything but who cares
Jordanstown campus is nice. Has necessary facilities and staff is helpful
Brilliant campus, great location and lots of external opportunities.
To be honest I don't know much about most of this though that is my own fault. I am a international student so I'm only here for a short time and I haven't really gotten involved in any societies neither have I had any interactions with the Students Union or the Careers Service but from what I've heard in passing they're all pretty good. Connecting to the Internet was a bit difficult on some days.
Good facilities within the university
Ulster university has been a very welcoming environment for my first year
Good facilities and teaching staff
Wish belfast campus was open already
its goods and staff can be friendly
Would definitely avoid this student accommodation. For the high price, the rooms are extremely basic and the kitchen is completely bare bones and downright depressing. In the kitchen there is not even a sofa available to enable socialising. Staff seem to go on a power trip with fire alarms at Duncreggan Student Village, with these scheduled routinely every week, and are left blaring for up to an hour at times, for no apparent reason. Most recently, the staff set the fire alarm off for a test at nearly 11pm, when a lot of students would be showering, or getting ready to sleep.
Not a bad campus, teaching is good but everything else just a bit standard
Nice campus, easy to navigate with friendly staff
I have been at Ulster University since 2019 and it has been an incredible journey so far. Having the campus to use to work in my free time has helped a lot with my productivity and to communicate with my classmates
Great university, lots of places to go for coffee or lunch on the Jordanstown campus
Great support from staff and you are provided with good careers advice.
The university is a great place to be, there is plenty to offer and great resources However I would say personally that haven't been wowed from joining a society, it's only £2 to join but nothing has happened, no meetings or activities for it which is highly disappointing as I joined in the hopes to meet new people and learn new things
Great facilities with the new campus and all the lecturers and support staff are helpful
A nice place to study. With proper financial and scientific support.
I’m enjoying myself in university as it is a completely new experience
Getting around the university is fairly easy and the staff are lovely to talk to.
never can get a computer in the library and the there’s only a gaelic, football and computer club
I've thoroughly enjoyed my choice to study at Ulster University, everyone is super accomodating, my course director and teachers are all brilliant at their jobs.
Ulster University Jordonstown. I really enjoyed this university because they offered us loads of classes in the beginning to teach us how to reference and how to find our way about the campus. they also offer free counselling if you are feeling overwhelmed with the course
very good, belfast campus is very modern
Great university with a variety of courses
Can’t believe how awesome this University is. Sarah Dargie and Henry Melki have put together the most incredible staff with the most realistic, student focused course I have ever been on. Yuan, Eoghain, and Alec are all incredibly talented, inspiring, and gifted educators. I could not ask for a better faculty.
Very good university! Have enjoyed studying here over the last 4 years.
The campus has great facilities, including coffee shops and restaurant.
Great campus with lots of facilities
Just as I expected the university to be like. Comfortable spaces with lots of study and social areas.
I enjoy my time at Ulster University. The modern campus has its unique aesthetic and great experience to it. The staff are always providing their best making the experience so great!
Ulster university is a very good university to go to. They have a wide range of clubs, societies and even an excellent selection of courses to study.
Waiting to move to Belfast campus, Jordan’s town campus is poor
Can be very stressful, but worth it
Ulster university is a great place to learn
Great standards at this university! Very well managed. Modern facilities. Open days are a great way to discover more
Good facilities on campus and is easy to find rooms. Generally unreliable WiFi connection but is not a necessity for studying
Right now for the first semester I'm in the Jordanstown campus. It isn't too bad, but the wifi is a bit bad, and the facilities are old.
Best place to go for uni! UUJ for live!
So far a good experience as Ulster University. Still trying to become familiar with my surroundings. Staff are very helpful and have been a great help in making the experience as stress free as possible.
Many opportunities available within your course and outside of it eg/ clubs, travel and freshers fayre allow you to get many freebies and discounts at places around Belfast. The cafes have great food and drinks and the library is great to study and research in.
Great university. Staff are friendly and engaging and always go the extra mile to ensure everyone understands the work and does well.
Good location and lovely facilities
Lovely place to learn lecturers very helpful and great at responding to questions
I have not visited many at the university.
I cannot say anything about it really because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Everything was online.
Nice campus with spacious workplaces and library, and thanks to all the supervisors they all very professional.
The university has provided a good education and got to learn lot of things from basic to advance level
The university is a very nice one and due to covid I was not able to experience the normal uni life. However, I was still happy to study there.
Alright university, incredibly infuriating that if you're doing a computer science degree that you are unable to choose your modules. They push Web Development like no other, even when you're uninterested. If you want to do robotics, AI or Computer vision, go to Queens
Very good experience. Did a fantastic job at setting up online classes for covid 19
A low-standard university, poorly-managed
Lovely campus and great facilities
The staff are incredibly friendly and will help you with any difficulties that you might have
