the new campus has really added to the experience and it’s in the city centre perfect for everyone
Due to Ulsters new campus the facilities are second to none

I have really had a very good experience studying at the Ulster University, the lecturers are so friendly and very approachable, the standard of teaching is top notch! We are challenged to be the best version of ourselves by the assessments we carry out. The building is so beautiful and big, very conducive for learning. I will definitely recommend ulster to my friends, family members and neighbours. Thankful for the experience.

Well organized and good for all students
The teaching experience has been poor, with lecturers often replying to help emails with "Google it". They do not go in-depth enough on topics for the assessments they hand out so most of my peers pay online courses to learn the content. My course includes a placement year that you source independently and have no contact with the uni throughout, I was honestly sickened to get a "tuition" bill for £2000 to do this. Even worse when I found out Queens charge £700 for the same thing. They told students they would be studying in Belfast campus in 2020 and coerced them to take up expensive accommodation around it, I did and then had to commute to Jordanstown for 2 years as it was not finished. Some computing subjects have a strong problem with misogyny & racism, I've personally seen multiple expulsions & assaults over this.
No complaints about the university other than the students union could be a lot bigger, as compared to the queens student union.

Ulster University Belfast Campus is an impressive building with many resources and amenities, however, the building lacks huge characters often having a 'big warehouse' sort of a feel with a great lack of colour
Ulster uni is a great uni to go to the staff are all supportive in accomplishing your degree

I am a new university student but I find it very welcoming. The staffs and students are pretty cooperative and helped me at every step on my first day on campus.
