It is a university with a good record for academic excellence. I will strongly recommend it for people aspiring to learn.
Swansea University, was just the best place for me to be! Starting from awarding me a full tuition fee scholarship and other bursary they awarded everyone. These really helped a lot of us that ordinarily would have struggled to pay our fees. Swansea University Library was so supportive with resolving any internet issues, helping us with any query on referencing, downloading softwares, a safe space for us to study and all. I must also commend the Swansea University MyUnihub and Student support for the speed with which they respond to queries. The tutors are also very experienced and dedicated to making us improve and are also very supportive. I can remember using school Laptop from the library which really helped me alot. Also the Student Union government are on top of their game with the go global initiatives and I took part in so many trips and I really enjoyed the trip to Birmingham, the trip to Oxford. The location of Swansea university is another plus with the beaches and all.
Have not really spent much time on campus and as I live at home I do not attend other than lectures
A very good Uni although, if you are studying/living on Bay Campus, it’s very out of the way. Hardly any societies hold their meets on Bay so you’ll have to travel to Singleton Campus and back which is normally an hour drive each way. The Student Union is more directed at Singleton Campus too because of it being the main campus and the sports hall is located just next to it. Basically, most things revolve around Singleton Campus and not much happens on Bay Campus. Otherwise, campus facilities are great. The library on Bay is open 24/7 and there’s the “Bay Social Hideaway” which serves high quality food and drink for cheap prices.
Not what I expected before coming to the school. I expected more
The campus is absolutely gorgeous, especially the bay campus! Although it is campus side, but still worth.

Swansea has been a dream this first year, there is always room for improvement particularly with communication between the SU and university boards. It would be nice to have increased funding for sports societies as most are now self funded but contribute so much to student life here at Swansea
I've been at this University for almost 2 years now, I've never encountered any issues. There's always enough facilities to accommodate my needs and plenty of study spaces. There's help spots as well if you're struggling with finding your way around the campus'
Swansea is a great uni in a great location. Perfect beaches on short drives/busses. Would recommend to anyone considering it! Plenty to do, people are lovely
