Stayed since September and the rooms are a lot bigger than my previous tendency elsewhere. Very friendly staff always welcoming you and saying bye and to have a great day. Resolves issues as soon as they are raised and next to the train station and a bus stop for university which makes it very easy for transportation!
Very good experience so far. All staff are friendly and willing to assist students in any way they can. There are a good selection of study spaces. There are social areas too to hang out with friends. Gym looks a bit small but it's free so can't complain. Social areas are always very clean. Location is great - next to the main bus stops and a Tesco express is about 2 minutes away. It's around a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre. Would recommend to anyone studying in Swansea.
Enjoying everything at Ty nant
Moved here for my second year of university, decided to stay for my third because it was great. Good staff, great facilities and located close to essentials.
I’m really enjoying my time here, I’d like to also say how great Ian the security guard is, a great guy and really made me feel at home.

Best student accommodation in Swansea. Got lots of events to keep students engaged with eachother. Management staff are amazing.
Been here for a year now, and I haven’t had any issues. WiFi’s fast, rooms are nice, toilets are nice, the social events are also interactive and good. Any issue that needs to be resolved whether general queries or maintenance issues are resolved relatively quickly.

Ty nant is a great affordable option for private accommodation in Swansea. Only 20 minutes to campus with a bus stop right outside. All shops and town centre are nearby. Staff are great and so helpful. As a student that has lived in two other private accommodations I would say the social aspect is lacking, which is great if you want to study and get your head down, but might not be good for freshers. Many of the tenants are older and social events haven’t been the best. If you’re going to book I would avoid ground floor rooms, as there is a lot of people walking past and shouting late at night which makes it hard to sleep with the window open. On several occasions people would stand and stare in so had to keep the blinds closed most of the time. Kitchens are good, maybe a bit small for the amount of people sharing it. I had several times where maintenance staff would enter my room without knocking which was a bit annoying, and they would come to the flats weekly to do nothin

Ty Nant is an amazing accommodation to live in. The management team and security staff (shout out to Ian) are super lovely and are always there to talk to and assist. My experience at Ty Nant has been a home away from home, and I can't wait to be back there for my final year.

I started living in Ty Nant in the last year. It has been a good time here for me. Moreover, staff is very helpful as well as rooms are specious with a huge wardrobe.

The reception team are amazing, better than any accommodation I've experienced. They're so friendly and make the place very positive. Any issues get solved quickly, and social events occur regularly. The rooms are lovely and don't feel homely, and the kitchens are so nice to spend time in. Having a TV means you can enjoy time with your flatmates and watch dumb shows whenever you like together. The security guards are so friendly too, it's a pleasure having a chat with them. Super glad I'm staying again next year.

I’ve had a lovely time at Ty nant, it’s a brilliant place to live. Management and maintenance are lovely, Seren, Sam and Emily are great to talk to. Security makes us feel safe. Ians great. The rooms are nice and so are the social spaces.

All the staff here are friendly and helpful which helps to settle in!! Also the WiFi was perfect throughout all my online lectures!

Had a great time and will be staying next year also. Would only say that the lack of appliances for cleaning provided has been an issue especially as there’s no kitchen cleaning.

Living at ty nant student accommodation was a great experience! The rooms were cozy and had everything I needed. I loved the communal spaces – perfect for chilling with friends or getting some group study done. Plus, everything was always neat and tidy. The location couldn't have been better. The staff were amazing – really friendly and quick to sort out any problems. They also put on some fun events that made it easy to meet new people. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great student living experience. It truly felt like a home away from home!

It’s great but is very dusty as it is placed next to the train station the gym is very small compared to other student accommodation and the air ventilation in the kitchen and rooms are terrible
The building is quite quaint which makes it very chill allowing fir social events to take place without getting absurdly loud

I’ve spent the past semester living in a studio at Ty Nant Student Accommodation and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the day one, the staff in here have been nothing short of amazing! They’re not just professional but also nice and friendly, and always ready to help with any problem I’ve had. The Wi-Fi here are amazing! Before I came here, I was worried about I couldn’t be able to play Splatoon 3 online with others, but here’s Wi-Fi is so good that I have never lost connection at my end!!! The accommodation frequently hosts social events and offers well-maintained communal spaces, fostering a vibrant community.

Honestly my main problem is just the washing machines and the dryers as they are just too inconsistent and rubbish, if I want to wash and dry my clothes I should be able to but instead I’ve had to go out my way and buy a drying rack because everytime I go down to use the dryer they never work and it’s a joke because now I have to wait 3 maybe 4 days for my clothes to dry instead of one hour.
