Lovely campus with so much going on. Love how easily accessible everything is, and has everything you need. Whatsmore its right on the sea front!
I came to Swansea university for my postgraduate studies and so far it’s been an interesting experience. The school is well equipped with standard facilities and student wellbeing is at the forefront. The various bodies in charge of student welfare are always quick to respond to issues or questions you might have. Resources for learning are also adequately provided. It’s a great place for study!
The only university that supports students to achieve success in studies and provides mental & emotional support. The well-being facility in university is incredibly amazing. Swansea University is welcoming and accepts students from any age group. I am an international student and struggled through mental health problems, the well-being department supported me throughout my degree. They encouraged me to complete it with peace of mind and hope. If the university did not provide emotional support facility then it would be hard for me to complete the Masters program. I rate swansea university 10/10
The university has a really welcoming ethos, and there’s so many societies to join.
Facilities in St Davids Park seem to be much less than on the main campus's. No clubs and societies and Wifi connection is poor in certain areas of the building. Eating/food facilities are poor with only one microwave and small fridge, which is not enough seeing as everyone has to bring food in from home as no facility to buy food on site. Teaching is good and the lecture rooms are plenty big enough
Very nice and pleasant place for a student. It is quite relaxing to walk across the beach and inside the many parks. They do try to academically challenge you and the lecturers are generally very nice and approachable.
Brand new course- exciting and innovating! Lecturers are encouraging and enthusiastic. So many job prospects on qualifying- such a diverse profession!
Overall, an ok university. Would be beneficial for better systems to be put into place within the assessment team etc
Awesome location and a great university city. Campus is a bit tired (although the med facilities seem to be tidy). Could do with more facilities for shopping etc. Library is great but would benefit from more chill, comfortable areas to go. Student services and finance departments are quite slow to respond. Disability services I found to be poor
Swansea Uni is split between two campuses which does mean the facilities on each are quite sparse. The union is not particularly active but I have heard from other students that this could still be the effect of covid.
