So many places to do your assignments as all buildings have computers. The seminar teachers help a lot if you ever struggle.

LJMU is great to study at and the WiFi isn’t terrible so you can get on with studying in any building without any issues. They have a wide range of societies to choose from so there is always something that suits you as a person.

Really good university, internet is a bit of a hassle but otherwise really good

We have free Wi-Fi available for students and staff and also guest Wi-Fi for any visitors at the university. Our friendly staff at our libraries are happy to help students with any IT queries during their studies and they have a handy online chat service to support remotely.
If you're looking for student accommodation that doesnt actually feel like student accommodation, this place is it. It’s honestly more like living in a really nice apartment than anything you'd expect from typical student housing The rooms are super comfy and modern, with loads of space to chill or study—whatever you’re feeling. It's definitely the best place to stay in Liverpool city centre and great for hosting events that everyone will want to come to because it's so modern! The whole building just has a different feel. It’s clean, quiet when you need it to be, and way more stylish than your average halls. You’ve got great amenities too that comes with it- a wash room, toaster, Tv, kettle, electric based hobs, floor length windows, double beds, and much more. It's perfect if you want to have your own space but still be part of a chill, friendly community wether your first year or third year

loved living here the first year- fantastic location as it is only about 5 minutes into the centre and lime street train station- right by the student life building and the ljmu campus

I’m only in my first year of university so far but I’ve really enjoyed it. I know that I made the right choice coming to LJMU. I found the transition to uni a little bit difficult at first but the staff have been so insanely helpful, I am very very grateful.

WiFi is hard to log into but once done works well, not entirely sure where the students union resides, activities are usually all booked out in seconds so it's hard to participate.

The only thing i would say is that i have never been told about any societies or anything, so i have had a bad experience on that end
It's a quiet uni, and less is going on then there should be. Especially com with the university of Liverpool. The teaching staff is good and day to day education is well put together. But you will not go out of your way and probably engage with uni of Liverpools society's if you want more socialising.

My only issue is the WiFi in the John Lennon building. And there is no service in my lecture hall.

LJMU has been an amazing place to study! The campus and facilities are outstanding—modern, well-equipped, and designed to support both academic and leisure activities. There are many clubs and societies to join, making it easy to meet new people and explore different hobbies. The Students’ Union is a real highlight—well-organized, active, and always supportive. The Careers Service goes above and beyond to help students with placements, graduate opportunities, and career advice. They provide excellent support to prepare students for life after university. The WiFi connection is generally good across campus, though there are occasional slow spots. Overall, LJMU offers a fantastic university experience with great facilities, strong student support, and plenty of opportunities to grow both academically and socially!

Everyone is approachable and so so helpful.
Although I am not a part of any LJMU societies, I have heard many great things about them and hope to join one in my second year of uni. The internet in the buildings is fine unless you are in a room where there is no service. The buildings are easy to find and not too far out. There is always a lot of support being offered in terms of helping people figure out what they would like to do after finishing their studies. I think LJMU is the best uni in general.
