I love this accommodation! This accommodation is located just between city center and uni! Very convinient. Also, I love kind staffs in here:) They are very nice and kind, especially Dominika is really nice person ans hleps student kindly!
The teachers and students are very friendly and bristol is a very nice area to live in
Super good experience to date. All the faculty, staff, student reps have all been very helpful and friendly.
all stuff here are so much helpful and friendly!!! love the housekeeping service
The everyday household cleaning is great. Besides you will get informed once the reception have your parcel, they are extremely responsible.
I like everything in University of Bristol!
We have a nice student, nice Internet connection, nice restaurant, and most importantly the best professor!
Great university with beautiful campus. You can’t believe how amazing the scenery is! However, Please pay more attention to students’ experience by more accessible contact time!
I Like the campus of Bristol. it is a nice experience to study in this campus
it's a very beautiful school and i enjoy studying in UOB!
The cleaning service is very well.
Very good environment and study atmosphere. People are very nice and warm welcome. Convenient of food and grocery store. However, outdoor sport complex is very far from the university.
Campus is pretty close to my accommodation. The university provide many facilities for study.
Because I’m in foundation year. Lots of things I still don’t understand. However I think that Bristol SU is a very friendly society to help students
just a nice place to focus on study
I think every thing is gteat. I am looking forward to my study life here.
Very nice uni, fantastic experience from home unis. There is traditional British sense in the campus, demonstrating deep background of the UoB.
A really great university in UK
Good to study here, beautiful city and nice people
The campus building is very beautiful. Here you can meet students from all over the world, communicate with them, experience different cultures and cooperate to complete challenging work.
This week has been my second week at the University of Bristol, so it is difficult to be really judgmental. So far, the experience is good with minor issues.
Best university in terms of career and research
Awesome and amazing! Loved everything from the start and only accommodation with a welcome party tbh
Hamza comes to help really fast and he did an excellent work!
The University of Bristol gives me a chance to study with many very good and cleaver classmates and the opportunity to follow up with some outstanding professors. It is an unforgettable year.
Didn't spend much time on campus or using facilites but from what i've seen they're alright. Loads of societies and stuff.
The university provides excellent professors and various kinds of useful courses, there are a lot of social activities and study groups
The best place to study. No doubt why it is the top 10 in the UK!
I love Bristol but corona didn’t make it the best
Shambolic institution that has continuously proven through and through that they do not regard students’ mental health or well-being. It is no wonder that UoB is infamously regarded as a British university with one of the highest student suicides rate nationally. As an incoming third year student in Sociology, I’ve had first-hand experience of the University’s negligence when it comes to acknowledging students’ disabilities and medical illnesses. Over the last 2 years at UoB, I’ve witnessed coursemates dropping out for mental health reasons, students being remanded in psychiatric hospitals and threatened to either be kicked out or have their visas revoked if they were an international student, to personally going through a debilitating illness myself which the University has invariably refused to acknowledge despite my attempts to inform them with what I was going through and sending them my medical evidence and records by my doctors and specialists.
Great campus and facilities. Friendly and supportive staff. Range of societies available however not much going on due to Covid this year. Looking forward to when things reopen and start up again next year.
It’s a difficult time study online, but the school and teachers gave us a lot of support.
To be honest, as a result of COVID-19, I have only been to the campus a few times this school year and have not been able to experience the activities of the clubs, so it is hard for me to comment. I am grateful to the Student Union, who managed to host several outdoor activities and themed dinners for us while observing the social restrictions.
I dislike online learning and because of the pandemic, this year we lack normal social activities.
I love my experience in University of Bristol. I have learned a lot and this is the best year of my life so far.
Good University, friendly staff, and excellent research experience!
Happy with my time at Bristol.
Before and during lockdown, services have been good quality.
The facilities that I’ve used are pretty good, I can’t really comment too much. The societies I’ve joined are really friendly and inclusive and there’s definitely something for everyone. The student union is ok, I haven’t been able to comment much due to COVID, but the SU is really nice inside. Eduroam wifi and Bristol is awful, do not expect to be scrolling on Instagram in the library, it doesn’t work. Can’t say much about the careers service, haven’t really used it tbh.
online teaching was really horrible
I am really glad to move in this studio!
Overall, Bristol is a pretty good uni. Its got plenty of libraries as well as other spaces to study alone or with friends. I enjoy the fact its not a campus uni because it allows you to feel more in the real world than if you were on campus and it also goves you easy access to shops or clubs etc. One of the main issues with the uni is probably its mental health initiatives as they are difficult to access and sometimes make you feel isolated. There are loads of societies that cater to everyone and you can sign up to them at the fair at the start of the year which is an easy process.
It's been a weird year to be a student, but the experiences I have had of being on campus and of uni stuff has been great so far.
Don’t know the campus well as most of my teaching was online, the history buildings that I did go in were nice though. My asus chromebook wouldn’t connect to the wifi in the uni buildings (teaching ones or library) which was frustrating.
due to covid I can't say much on the careers service, student union or really the facilities and societies, but this is my impression had this been a normal year. I will say that the libraries are great places to study, with long opening hours during exam periods, but I wish they were always open at weekends. I highly recommend the medical school, the quality of education is really good, you get thrown right in to learning to interact with patients, clinical skills, consultation skills and what its like to work in a hospital. the lecturers are all knowledgeable and willing to help. The level of teaching is enough to stretch you, but not too difficult, however the work load is heavy after the first term.
Great social life and Bristol is just amazing.
Great uni integrated into a vibrant city
Good facilities and internet is good.
Due to covid, I haven't really gotten to explore anything. But the wifi has been great.
Great Uni that feels very alive. Great teaching and support groups. Because of Covid, I haven’t really got involved with SU or societies but all seem very good.
Haven't had the best experience yet because of covid but I think the university did the best they could to help us.
Overall brilliant experience. Clubs and societies are run well and there are lots of different things to try out.
I highly recommend Bristol. It's a great cross between both a campus and city feel uni and has a lot to offer in terms of facilities and social stuff
High standards university, great social life in Bristol.
Fantastic facilities and comprehensive careers services to prepare students both professionally and academically.
A very high standard university, always on the top 15 top UK unis
I love UoB. I have had some of the best years of my life here and I'm still not yet finished studying. The SU has to be the biggest let down. They are not located centrally to the university campuses and can often feel a bit... just sort of there for the sake of it. The facilities though, I think are great and Bristol has some of the biggest range in societies out of all UK universities! Workload can get very intense though at times so it's important to balance both personal and work life equally!
Such a lovely university! Totally recommended.
Bristol could really improve on the student's Wellbeing/Counselling service
Cant really say much as most of the time we’re studying from home due to Covid
Lots of clubs and societies to join. Not the best reputation in terms of mental health services. Decent teaching but didn’t handle online university as well as they could have. Great location with lots to do outside of uni.
It’s disappointing that I can’t take part in the blended study this year.
University have been organised and flexible with the pandemic. Have been very supportive
Campus is really lovely. Plenty of nice parks, cafes and restaurants all around campus to explore.
Best uni ever! Will always be happy I chose Bristol
Brilliant uni highly recommend
Great all around. Perfect choice for a blend of social life and education
Love my course, great lecturers and a really chilled city.
Awesome University campus with supportive faculty members.
It's a good university in the Uk.
nice uni, glad I chose to study here
The University of Bristol is a good environment to work and to learn new skills that I will need in the future to find a job.
All good clubs and societies but I never really fit in in a group so can't give it a further review
Awful standard of teaching, no wonder they have a silver for TEF. No support from most lecturers
I attended the University of Bristol as a PhD student. That means that my experience is not the same as what an undergraduate may have: I did not make much use of the campus facilities and university clubs for instance. As a PhD student, though, I am satisfied with my choice and my experience: the research groups are really good in my opinion.
I enjoy every minute of being a part of University of Bristol. I am looking forward to going back to our lovely campus!
Good facilities. Well maintained halls. Friendly staff
Campus is beautiful, wifi is excellent in almost every where. And there is a society for almost anything you can imagine
University of Bristol has a peaceful campus with a high population diversity.
good uni overall, lovely city and good teachers
Beautiful city and university, absolutely love it
I have no clue what to say here. This government has screwed everyone over and my first year university experience has been pretty mundane. I have no clue what the clubs/societies/student union are like. CHAOS is the physics society and is meant to be pretty decent but what can you do if everyone’s under lockdown? Oh brilliant, Rocket league tournaments! Zoom quizzes! Guest lecturer spending the first 10 minutes trying to figure out how to unmute themselves! I don’t blame the university but it still feels lacklustre, I hope there is more of an effort when lockdown restrictions are lifted but honestly who knows? Who cares? Not me anymore. Btw the physics building is pretty good- lab experiments are done well and with all the preparations there’s nae chance of catching Covid.
the uni throughout covid have been pretty bad tbh not given us a lot of reassurance and have been super slow in opening facilities compared to other unis
havent been able to access the in person facilities since november. libraries have also been shut for the majority of the year. this is really frustrating especially coming from such a highly ranked uni as my friends at other universities have had access to their libraries and friends on the same course as me at other unis have had in person teaching for a number of weeks now.
Very nice University with great ideas. Campus is very beautiful, staff members are very helpful and I do believe it is one of the best Universities across the U.K.
Great university and love the city. Teaching has been fantastic at the medical school despite COVID! Love it
I enjoyed learning from great teachers & the ample academic resources! Due to covid, we haven’t managed to enjoy the campus facilities.
Bristol is such a nice city to study in. I find my course really interesting and am glad I chose it
Beautiful school building, lovely and experienced teachers, and the staff here are hard-working with quick reponse speed. Really enjoy the life here.
Bu university is famous all over the world for its combination of outstanding academic innovation and independent and forward-looking spirit. By 2018, 13 Nobel laureates have been trained, which is always at the forefront of global research.
UoB is an excellent university with lots of diversity and different societies. Everyone can find a place to fit in. Throughout my experience at UoB I have always had excellent guidance as a student.
Difficult to experience most of these during lockdown, but has been a good experience so far with the university.
Most people you meet ar very friendly and it is easy to make conversation with people.
Due to the pandemic,we international students are locked at home and are unable to enjoy the same learning and social experience as previous students but charged the same or more.
I have to stay at my room for whole day because of the lockdown, so I have to say I lose many opportunities to travel around and meet with new friends.
Our school is very good, the curriculum arrangement is very reasonable, the teachers are very conscientious, they can patiently solve our problems.
Good teaching quality, patient and professional professors and tutors. Beautiful school buildings.
Provides nice facilities and services. Enjoy so much my time here.
a。good university I think I will spend a significant year here . Thanks for the service.
happy life and happy time with happy guys. make me feel warm,it's always very clean
