I live in Dean Street Works for 2 weeks now and here are pros and cons of the accommodation: + The lobby is welcoming and cozy + The staff is highly responsive and friendly. They helped me a lot during my check-in. They try to solve the problems, not just saying I don't know or ignoring it. + The staff deals with problems quickly. The heater in my room did not work. The case was complicated but in was fixed in 2 days. + The room is nice, doesn't seem to be shabby. Everything works perfectly. + There are many events. + Wifi is fast and works in everywhere - Some common areas (corridors and flights of stairs) are not clean. - There is a smell of a garbage dumps in my wing of the building. It is only on the first floor but it is not pleasant. - There are not good grocery stores near the accommodation. - It is not that far from the university, but you need to go up the hill. - No gym :( Conclusion: it would be great the accommodation wash the common areas properly. :)

Dean Street Works places students at the heart of all the action. Residents can enjoy being a short walk or cycle from various local institutions such as the University of Bristol. The accommodation is set in the city centre, a mere two hundred metres from Cabot Circus and less than a mile from the train station.
Looking to relax with friends after a long day of class? Make use of the cinema room, communal lounge, communal kitchen, games room or outdoor area and garden. All the important bits are covered as all utility bills are included in the rental price. For added convenience, there is a study area, WiFi, vending machine, laundry room, bike storage, and post-collection. the property is far from the university so it takes you 30 minutes to go there, everyday i enter in the classroom, i already tired and sleepy because of the long distance, but the officers here are nice and funny!

Far from the Uni of Bristol. Very close the all the major shops for day to day needs and supplies. Amazing and helpful staff.

Definitely a good accommodation for students, there are a lot of great social activities and the staffs are all quite nice.

The reception have a very young and adorable and friendly and kindly Angela sister! She know how to speak Chinese, how to use Wechat, and prettyyy nice for everybody!! I love her so muchhhh!! Also, DSW have good facilities, the furniture is all new and fresh, everything is great except the locationš¤£Just a bit far away from university.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the accommodation. The facilities were excellent, and the management team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The positive experience enhanced my overall satisfaction with the place.

This is a wonderful place with a fully decorated space and living area. The reception team is really nice and willing to deal with any problems we meet. The social area and laundry room are excellent, also has a game room with a camera room. 200% recommendation!
After living in Bristol for three years, I've finally found the best accommodation: Dean Street Works! What sets it apart is the incredible staff. They are incredibly welcoming, supportive, and genuinely nice to everyone. They make you feel right at home. The rooms have plenty of storage space and the beds are really comfortable. The walls are thick, so you don't hear any noise from your neighbors. I want to give a special shoutout to Josh, Adam, and Sreeja for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. I give Dean Street a perfect 10/10 rating. If I could, I'd give them a 20/10.
Really friendly and approachable management team. Always around to help and resolve issues as fast as they can. Great location, close to the city centre but still not too noisy or busy. Clean, lively spaces. Overall been a great experience staying here. Wish I could have stayed on longer.
For us international students, DSW property management team has built a homelike living space so that we have enough energy to tackle our studies and daily life. The team assisted us in repairing any electrical difficulties in the kitchen as soon as they arose and were able to resolve most concerns within a day. Josh-led staff is the best management team I have ever met. Their professionalism, affection, and patience gave me a lot of support while studying overseas. Whatever the issue, they are always responsive and aggressive in finding a solution, and communication is always pleasant and easy. The professionalism, politeness, and efficiency demonstrated by each member of the team greatly impressed me. The effort and commitment of the team were appreciated. I will suggest Dean Street Works and Josh-led team to any international students I know who need to find accommodation.

Dean Street Works is one of the best accommodations. As an international student I was hesitant with my tenancy choices, but DSW is quite flexible with the tenancies, the rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. The Management is quite versatile and I personally enjoy student events happening around me. If it was upto me I would stay here again
You couldn't have a better team looking after you during your stay here - they have gone well out of their way to help me more than once, and I would highly recommend it here. The location is good for a UoB student because you're close to all the shops and the university buildings, as well as the train station. The studios are nice as well, I would stay again if I could.
Dean Street Works has been a home away from home for me. Josh, Sreeja and Adam have made the place beautiful. At Dean Street Works, it is a family and it remains a safe space for all.

My passport was sent to the wrong address by the courier and this document is very important to me. I then asked Josh, Adam and Alex at reception for help and they were very helpful in contacting the customer service of the delivery company, checking the CCTV and eventually finding my passport at the wrong address. Many thanks for their help :)
Amazing place, room is so clean and new, toilet is clean too. The people who work here makes this place feels like home.

The accommodation is honestly one of the better ones in the city and the management team just makes up for everything else. They are very warm and welcoming and have always helped out when in need. Though we have gyms located a close proximity, it would be really nice to have an in-house gym.

All the positive comments left by other students are true. i wish DSW was a little closer to UoB (thatās because iām lazy) but itās very great for people who like to walk. besides that i donāt have anythin to complain about because the staff are amazing and the facilities are too. if antrhing goes wrong it gets fixed right away . good events, i reall struggle to add anything valuable that wasnāt said before š„²š„²

The best student accommodation in Bristol! The property team is very considerate of each student's needs and I really appreciate them always offering a nice, supportive chat over tea and biscuits. I made so many friends and great memories here that I wish to never leave DSW :-(

Iām so glad I chose to live here, everyone who works here is super nice and always willing to help with anything. DSW in a great location, very near Cabot Circus which is very convenient and itās only a short walk to my uni (UOB) so thatās great! My room is really nice and there are social areas in the building too. Overall Iām very happy here :)

Flats are really nice and the staff are lovely. Location is a bit far from campus and is a little dodgy at night.
I like the window it is big. the accommodation is very clean as well. I love the shower place too but the washbasin is kind of too small.

Fantastic property team, always happy to help with anything they can. The property is new, with modern furniture. The size of rooms is a bit struggling if you get the room facing the street. The difference between rooms facing the courtyard and those facing the street is huge, considering both options are for the same amount of money.

Luxurious rooms with hotel-like friendly receptionists that maintain the prestige of the property. Iāve seen other properties that have no receptionists which makes the property feel unsafe and dead. As an international student having resourceful people in the building is very important.
My overall experience in Dean Street Works has been amazing! The Property Team are so so lovely, cleaning and maintenance is unmatched, any issues have been fixed within a few days if not by the next day. The location is ideal with Cabot Circus being at the end of the road. If you're looking for good value accommodation in Bristol City Centre this is the place to book :)
Canāt go wrong with the location of the halls, only a 2 min walk from cabot circus! The flats are really well designed and great in terms of storage space. Never had any problems with wifi and maintenance issues have been dealt with in a day or so. Would really recommend for someone wanting to live in the city centre with a fab team at reception too!

We have had The Hive available throughout on a bookable basis allowing us to clean after each use. We hope as restrictions ease, we can open the additional spaces for you all to use freely! We hope you have enjoyed the breakfasts and grab and go food/drink offering Student Experiences we have had available regularly at Reception however. Overall, a good place to live. I do not think you can find cheaper student accommodation in this area.

One of the best accommodation halls in Bristol! The management team is so friendly and try to make you feel at home from day one. Very close to Cabot Circus and to many pubs and restaurants. Such a lovely place.
