I don't know much about the student union and social activities, but I feel that the curriculum is not very reasonable. Moreover, some teachers are biased in their grading of task scores.
I haven’t felt regretted choosing the university of Bristol. I enjoy the study here also enjoy the life in Bristol city.
The university has a lot of useful resources and societies to keep students engaged.
The fee is increasing every year for international students:((
Everything is perfect for me. Our university is so considerate in providing hybrid ways of teaching in pandemic. And participating in offline class really benefits me a lot
Not too much feeling, the school service is ok, but the response is very slow
Great university, lots of opportunities
Wonderful studio. I recommend you to choose the room on 11 floor, coz the view outside is really nice!
Outstanding university with great staff, lecturers and facilities.
a good uni in Bristol, England
University of Bristol is a very welcoming and diverse university. The city itself is very lively and ideal for students. There are a wide range of libraries spread around campus. All the services available are very helpful, and approachable.
The University has a good structure, the students are well supported, and classes are exciting.
Great facilities and study spaces
Wonderful Student’s Union and lovely campus, located right in the city centre!
Highly dependend on course. My course (vet science 1st yr) was mostly online with all my lectures pre recorded. SU organises alot of activities for a variety of students but its hard to know when something is going on. Lots of societies and clubs, you have to pay for most of them usually between £5 - £30 a yr. Gym is good but usually really crowded. Lots of librarys and study/social places to choose from. Uni is so close to the city centre so theres always something to do. Student support system is a bit confusing but they are fairly consisted and make sure to keep in touch with you when they know youre struggling.
Overall it is a very Good university
Good uni, good teachers! A bit disappointed by the Carriers service, very difficult to book an appointment because there is no availability
It's a good university, worth the ranking and prestige.
Great university experience! Go go go!
Good uni and easy to access! Nice professors and many clubs and activities.
Well. The overall feeling is good, close to the bustling area, the front desk is very good, will also hold a lot of activities. But there may be some details that need to be improved.
The teachers and staff are very good, if only they were more efficient
Its alright .
teachers are always happy to answer our questions(even simple stupide ones)
I honestly love it here. It’s the perfect university for me and I love my course.
University is well equipped. Careers Center provides enough information and advertisement of jobs.
I have enjoyed my time at the University of Bristol. The school has first-class facilities, superb teaching standards, and a good learning atmosphere.
My experience at the University of Bristol so far has been amazing! It’s located in a beautiful city and has so much to offer in terms of education and entertainment.
nice experience. I really love my life here.
Very good university. I really like it
Love it here, professors are amazing and friendly people
Very intensive high quality courses but struggles with student welfare
So far the lecturers and tutors seem nice and there are constantly social events hosted so it’s a welcoming uni
Great university, library is a little bit small
Great fun, good academic departments and great bunch of students. Nightlife is also very good.
Excellent student city with great nightlife, uni has great science resources, lecturers and tutors are helpful, city uni but all buildings are close together. Student union is a bit far from uni/ accommodations
One of the best schools in the world !
Friendly, fun, and awesome place to study
Welcoming city, welcoming academic team.
Some of our seminars are many people but in a relatively small classroom. So if can according to the room capacity to adjust the size of the room, that will be more safer and comfortable for us under Covid-19 situation.
Dormitory activities organized very rich, staff are very warm! Serviced apartment accommodation is very convenient!
Living in Bristol is pretty comfortable. People in there are so nice. As an international student I always can’t express myself fluently and appropriately but people in there would love to wait me with patience. Thanks for your kindness.
Good libraries, nice SU living room. Wellbeing office is helpful. But my course sucks.
Brilliant uni with amazing professors. Really nice campus and lots of libraries and study spaces
The campus is big and beautiful and the education is top tier.
Great place to learn to explore
Excellent facilities, staff, events, food and teachers. They’re supportive with managing workload and really understanding when personal stuff gets in the way. They get we’re human and try to help. My block has a cold water machine, silent study areas, a library, extensive gardens with seating, meeting areas and rooms, a bar, loads of common rooms and available space and surprisingly good wifi and food. I really like it, and it’s been loads better than I expected. There are student run sessions teaching essay formatting, how to submit work, referencing, citations, finding the best resources etc and they’re really good. Great uni, glad I came.
Fantastic uni, great city, lecturers and tutors are inspiring and clearly passionate about their subject. The university facilities are fantastic and the location is great within the city. The Student Union is first rate, there is honestly something for everyone there. Plus there is lots face to face learning once again, and the same can’t be said for some other universities.
It was a good experience studying at the University of Bristol.
I love this accommodation! This accommodation is located just between city center and uni! Very convinient. Also, I love kind staffs in here:) They are very nice and kind, especially Dominika is really nice person ans hleps student kindly!
The teachers and students are very friendly and bristol is a very nice area to live in
Super good experience to date. All the faculty, staff, student reps have all been very helpful and friendly.
all stuff here are so much helpful and friendly!!! love the housekeeping service
The everyday household cleaning is great. Besides you will get informed once the reception have your parcel, they are extremely responsible.
I like everything in University of Bristol!
We have a nice student, nice Internet connection, nice restaurant, and most importantly the best professor!
Great university with beautiful campus. You can’t believe how amazing the scenery is! However, Please pay more attention to students’ experience by more accessible contact time!
I Like the campus of Bristol. it is a nice experience to study in this campus
it's a very beautiful school and i enjoy studying in UOB!
The cleaning service is very well.
Very good environment and study atmosphere. People are very nice and warm welcome. Convenient of food and grocery store. However, outdoor sport complex is very far from the university.
Campus is pretty close to my accommodation. The university provide many facilities for study.
Because I’m in foundation year. Lots of things I still don’t understand. However I think that Bristol SU is a very friendly society to help students
just a nice place to focus on study
I think every thing is gteat. I am looking forward to my study life here.
Very nice uni, fantastic experience from home unis. There is traditional British sense in the campus, demonstrating deep background of the UoB.
A really great university in UK
Good to study here, beautiful city and nice people
The campus building is very beautiful. Here you can meet students from all over the world, communicate with them, experience different cultures and cooperate to complete challenging work.
This week has been my second week at the University of Bristol, so it is difficult to be really judgmental. So far, the experience is good with minor issues.
Best university in terms of career and research
Awesome and amazing! Loved everything from the start and only accommodation with a welcome party tbh
Hamza comes to help really fast and he did an excellent work!
The University of Bristol gives me a chance to study with many very good and cleaver classmates and the opportunity to follow up with some outstanding professors. It is an unforgettable year.
Didn't spend much time on campus or using facilites but from what i've seen they're alright. Loads of societies and stuff.
The university provides excellent professors and various kinds of useful courses, there are a lot of social activities and study groups
The best place to study. No doubt why it is the top 10 in the UK!
I love Bristol but corona didn’t make it the best
Shambolic institution that has continuously proven through and through that they do not regard students’ mental health or well-being. It is no wonder that UoB is infamously regarded as a British university with one of the highest student suicides rate nationally. As an incoming third year student in Sociology, I’ve had first-hand experience of the University’s negligence when it comes to acknowledging students’ disabilities and medical illnesses. Over the last 2 years at UoB, I’ve witnessed coursemates dropping out for mental health reasons, students being remanded in psychiatric hospitals and threatened to either be kicked out or have their visas revoked if they were an international student, to personally going through a debilitating illness myself which the University has invariably refused to acknowledge despite my attempts to inform them with what I was going through and sending them my medical evidence and records by my doctors and specialists.
Great campus and facilities. Friendly and supportive staff. Range of societies available however not much going on due to Covid this year. Looking forward to when things reopen and start up again next year.
It’s a difficult time study online, but the school and teachers gave us a lot of support.
To be honest, as a result of COVID-19, I have only been to the campus a few times this school year and have not been able to experience the activities of the clubs, so it is hard for me to comment. I am grateful to the Student Union, who managed to host several outdoor activities and themed dinners for us while observing the social restrictions.
I dislike online learning and because of the pandemic, this year we lack normal social activities.
I love my experience in University of Bristol. I have learned a lot and this is the best year of my life so far.
Good University, friendly staff, and excellent research experience!
Happy with my time at Bristol.
Before and during lockdown, services have been good quality.
The facilities that I’ve used are pretty good, I can’t really comment too much. The societies I’ve joined are really friendly and inclusive and there’s definitely something for everyone. The student union is ok, I haven’t been able to comment much due to COVID, but the SU is really nice inside. Eduroam wifi and Bristol is awful, do not expect to be scrolling on Instagram in the library, it doesn’t work. Can’t say much about the careers service, haven’t really used it tbh.
online teaching was really horrible
I am really glad to move in this studio!
Overall, Bristol is a pretty good uni. Its got plenty of libraries as well as other spaces to study alone or with friends. I enjoy the fact its not a campus uni because it allows you to feel more in the real world than if you were on campus and it also goves you easy access to shops or clubs etc. One of the main issues with the uni is probably its mental health initiatives as they are difficult to access and sometimes make you feel isolated. There are loads of societies that cater to everyone and you can sign up to them at the fair at the start of the year which is an easy process.
It's been a weird year to be a student, but the experiences I have had of being on campus and of uni stuff has been great so far.
Don’t know the campus well as most of my teaching was online, the history buildings that I did go in were nice though. My asus chromebook wouldn’t connect to the wifi in the uni buildings (teaching ones or library) which was frustrating.
due to covid I can't say much on the careers service, student union or really the facilities and societies, but this is my impression had this been a normal year. I will say that the libraries are great places to study, with long opening hours during exam periods, but I wish they were always open at weekends. I highly recommend the medical school, the quality of education is really good, you get thrown right in to learning to interact with patients, clinical skills, consultation skills and what its like to work in a hospital. the lecturers are all knowledgeable and willing to help. The level of teaching is enough to stretch you, but not too difficult, however the work load is heavy after the first term.
Great social life and Bristol is just amazing.
Great uni integrated into a vibrant city
Good facilities and internet is good.
Due to covid, I haven't really gotten to explore anything. But the wifi has been great.
Great Uni that feels very alive. Great teaching and support groups. Because of Covid, I haven’t really got involved with SU or societies but all seem very good.
Haven't had the best experience yet because of covid but I think the university did the best they could to help us.
