I am really enjoy life in Bristol university
Good uni overall. Sufficient facilities, nice staff and quality teaching. The course itself may be challenging, very easy to fall behind.
Great place to study, I like my life in Bristol uni
The only problem I have is the wifi access, students have to download the extra app for it, which cause the phenomenon that most of them use the guest wifi instead.
university of bristol is the best uni
One of the best universities in the UK!
As a university, Bristol is very good. The facilities are top notch and staff are very helpful. But take what I say with a pinch of salt as I was a chemistry student, so my positive views apply to staff members and how much they cared for students.
Cloth to the campus and the city center
I am a PhD student at the University of Bristol, and as part of my doctorate studies I moved to London for one year to join the amazing The Alan Turing Institute. I found The Institute a very vibrant and creative place where bright ideas start.
This university has professional and friendly teachers. I think I have had a pleasent experience here.
Honestly one of the best school experience I’ve ever had - and I have 1 bachelors and 2 masters! I was in the psychology department under experimental psychology, the professors there are lovely, so are the staffs. Student well-being service also helped me through a lot after I had an eye inflammation during the summer. Great university, great professors, great city to live in. People are amazing. Overall a lovely experience that allowed me to grow academically, professionally, and personally.
This university is racist, discriminatory and colonialist. They have forced me to accept a degree certificate with a British-style shortened version of my name rather than listing my full name on my degree certificate. I provided them with plenty of legal documents showing that this was my full legal name at the time of graduation, but they refused and insisted on issuing a certificate with a British-style shorter name.
This university has good teachers and friendly students. You can get a good education here. And the location of the school is convenient and safe.
Good one, go and apply for your degree
I can say that I have had a great experience in general
University of Bristol is a very good university and has the best professors for all courses.
I was very impressed with this place
Overall a good experience! Beautiful campus buildings spread across the city!
Bristol uni is definitely one of the best unis in the UK. The study experience is generally good, although a bit tough cause we are expected to reach a high level. There are a lot of activities organised by the student union and the uni, you can easily find your interest and activities suitable for you whatever backgrounds you have. Overall, I would highly recommend Bristol uni and I feel proud to study here.
Generally great and professors are nice. Also the student union would sometimes offer discounted trip tickets and some events for the students.
I have to say that MH improves my life quality in Bristol because I do not worry about any errands except studying! I am not concern about that my food was stolen cas there was individual fridge for everyone. I do not need to worry about clean in a week routine cas there was a timely and professional house keeping service every week. The apartment was so brilliant! Every friend who has visited my apartment praises here a lot and expresses their envy to me for the prompt service for any time once we need, even the gym and entertainment place underground. The staff, sorry I didn’t ask their name, but I appreciate them so much cas all of them take care of us all the year! I will recommended MH to anyone who are gonna come! You can focus on your stuff, learning, working, without dealing with any errands.
Campus has many study space for study and group meeting and student union organise many different events, career service also planning many lectures to help students.
Very good teaching facility, all staff here are glad to provide assistance to students.
A city campus where buildings are all around. On a hill so walking uphill will be a routine if you stay near the city centre downhill. Great facilities full of clubs and societies.
The school is very good. The academic atmosphere is very strong. The school is very well equipped. The teachers and professors are very kind. UOB is the ideal place for academics.
Nicely located campus in a vibrant student town
My experience at University of Bristol was a memorable one. I had a multitude of opportunities to grow and learn from the varied cohort in my course.
The University is impeccable. The facilities are really fantastic.
Been here 4 years, very pleasant city and university to stay in. Will continue onwards for a PhD, with the city and its setting as one of my main reasons.
Strong learning atmosphere, comfortable study environment, enthusiastic and warm teachers and staff, kind and friendly students, your best choice
The University of Bristol is really a great university.
A wonderful university. Both professional and lovely.
I spend a really good time here
Pretty good experience in Bristol
One of the best engineering school in the country
Really good university and useful facilities, campus looks great with modern buildings
There are loads of societies to join, or social events. Easy to access university campus, local buses and university bus are really helpful, as university is located up the hill. Good with support, staff will try to help as much as they can.
The facilities at this university are just fine, it's the university management which I have a huge problem with. They truly do not care if their students live or die (numerous student suicides and deaths throughout the course of my time at this university, only 1 of which we received any news about from the university, the others I found out about from external news sources). A huge lack of support from personal tutors (mine hasn't contacted me for over two years). A friend of mine tried to appeal an essay and was forced to repeat a year and was also denied her student loan during the time she was submitting her appeal (at least 2-3 months). As a student you truly feel like a commodity, not a human being. And I have many more issues with it. But the city's lovely.
tutors are very kind and they always halped me to solve different types of things.
The university has sufficient facilities for both studying and interest, and its atmosphere is quite welcoming and friendly.
Outstanding and state-of-the-art campus and facilities for study and leisure purposes
Most lazy office ever. 0 care about you, only your money. Very irresponsible student service. Trust the numbers, there's reason why Bristol rankings get worse every year.
I love the University of Bristol. I had a very pleasant master's life here! The course schedule is very reasonable and meaningful! Even exams really give me a headache!
Everything is good!I like UoB because I think it is worth joining in learning lessons and seminars, besides that and I found that there are lots if activities can participate them!
I love the library and the study room. Students can book them conveniently by the school website.
University of Brsitol is well known for its engineering majors, and Bristol is such a cozy city to live in, love it!
A good study experience in University of Bristol.
UoB's has good facilities and a nice campus. There are many nice areas to relax including Senate House and Royal Fort Garden.
The university is among the best in the UK.
Bristol is decent but there’s a lack of support for students, especially in terms of Mental Health support and in finding housing for Second/Third year. Societies are pretty good but lots of sports are very expensive. No proper SU Pub/Club and Bristol can be expensive
The University is great in offering support to students and facilities to develop us outside of the class. For the teaching, some lecturer's are exceptional while the other's not so much, but that's to be expected.
I don't know much about the student union and social activities, but I feel that the curriculum is not very reasonable. Moreover, some teachers are biased in their grading of task scores.
I haven’t felt regretted choosing the university of Bristol. I enjoy the study here also enjoy the life in Bristol city.
The university has a lot of useful resources and societies to keep students engaged.
The fee is increasing every year for international students:((
Everything is perfect for me. Our university is so considerate in providing hybrid ways of teaching in pandemic. And participating in offline class really benefits me a lot
Not too much feeling, the school service is ok, but the response is very slow
Great university, lots of opportunities
Wonderful studio. I recommend you to choose the room on 11 floor, coz the view outside is really nice!
Outstanding university with great staff, lecturers and facilities.
a good uni in Bristol, England
University of Bristol is a very welcoming and diverse university. The city itself is very lively and ideal for students. There are a wide range of libraries spread around campus. All the services available are very helpful, and approachable.
The University has a good structure, the students are well supported, and classes are exciting.
Great facilities and study spaces
Wonderful Student’s Union and lovely campus, located right in the city centre!
Highly dependend on course. My course (vet science 1st yr) was mostly online with all my lectures pre recorded. SU organises alot of activities for a variety of students but its hard to know when something is going on. Lots of societies and clubs, you have to pay for most of them usually between £5 - £30 a yr. Gym is good but usually really crowded. Lots of librarys and study/social places to choose from. Uni is so close to the city centre so theres always something to do. Student support system is a bit confusing but they are fairly consisted and make sure to keep in touch with you when they know youre struggling.
Overall it is a very Good university
Good uni, good teachers! A bit disappointed by the Carriers service, very difficult to book an appointment because there is no availability
It's a good university, worth the ranking and prestige.
Great university experience! Go go go!
Good uni and easy to access! Nice professors and many clubs and activities.
Well. The overall feeling is good, close to the bustling area, the front desk is very good, will also hold a lot of activities. But there may be some details that need to be improved.
The teachers and staff are very good, if only they were more efficient
Its alright .
teachers are always happy to answer our questions(even simple stupide ones)
I honestly love it here. It’s the perfect university for me and I love my course.
University is well equipped. Careers Center provides enough information and advertisement of jobs.
I have enjoyed my time at the University of Bristol. The school has first-class facilities, superb teaching standards, and a good learning atmosphere.
My experience at the University of Bristol so far has been amazing! It’s located in a beautiful city and has so much to offer in terms of education and entertainment.
nice experience. I really love my life here.
Very good university. I really like it
Love it here, professors are amazing and friendly people
Very intensive high quality courses but struggles with student welfare
So far the lecturers and tutors seem nice and there are constantly social events hosted so it’s a welcoming uni
Great university, library is a little bit small
Great fun, good academic departments and great bunch of students. Nightlife is also very good.
Excellent student city with great nightlife, uni has great science resources, lecturers and tutors are helpful, city uni but all buildings are close together. Student union is a bit far from uni/ accommodations
One of the best schools in the world !
Friendly, fun, and awesome place to study
Welcoming city, welcoming academic team.
Some of our seminars are many people but in a relatively small classroom. So if can according to the room capacity to adjust the size of the room, that will be more safer and comfortable for us under Covid-19 situation.
Dormitory activities organized very rich, staff are very warm! Serviced apartment accommodation is very convenient!
Living in Bristol is pretty comfortable. People in there are so nice. As an international student I always can’t express myself fluently and appropriately but people in there would love to wait me with patience. Thanks for your kindness.
Good libraries, nice SU living room. Wellbeing office is helpful. But my course sucks.
Brilliant uni with amazing professors. Really nice campus and lots of libraries and study spaces
The campus is big and beautiful and the education is top tier.
Great place to learn to explore
Excellent facilities, staff, events, food and teachers. They’re supportive with managing workload and really understanding when personal stuff gets in the way. They get we’re human and try to help. My block has a cold water machine, silent study areas, a library, extensive gardens with seating, meeting areas and rooms, a bar, loads of common rooms and available space and surprisingly good wifi and food. I really like it, and it’s been loads better than I expected. There are student run sessions teaching essay formatting, how to submit work, referencing, citations, finding the best resources etc and they’re really good. Great uni, glad I came.
Fantastic uni, great city, lecturers and tutors are inspiring and clearly passionate about their subject. The university facilities are fantastic and the location is great within the city. The Student Union is first rate, there is honestly something for everyone there. Plus there is lots face to face learning once again, and the same can’t be said for some other universities.
It was a good experience studying at the University of Bristol.
