I have had a great time so far at hillside house. The location is great as I can get to all my classes within 5 to 10 minutes. The range of amenities offered by them is great and lastly the staff is very helpful.

My experience staying at Hillside House was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by friendly staff who ensured I settled in comfortably. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the excellent location, which made it easy to explore the city and access nearby amenities. Good location near to the university campus. Lacks in value for money since the building only has staff in a limited number of hours meaning if we lose our keys or need immediate help there is no one around. Equally there doesn't seem to be any overnight security, or if there is we don't know where to find them. Also, I reported my door failing to lock behind me, it was attended to 3/4 days later however I had no notification that they had seen my message, nor when they were coming to fix it, or that they had fixed it. I only knew because all of my lights had been left on when I turned them off that morning. Communication could be better.

Half of the Amenities do not work, management doesn’t know what’s going on, half of the things written in the contract were not provided, unsafe as there’s no security and the front door doesn’t close leading to homeless people living here, no proper maintenance team. Social spaces are also very outdated and for some reason they’ve increased the rent?

Very happy I chose hillside! Perfect location and great amenities!
Second time staying here and it’s been great as usual, if your budget has a bit more room to spare then you will definitely benefit from the add-ons of living here that make it a much more comfortable student experience. If not it may just seem a bit overpriced, but it certainly beats any other student accommodation especially any near the university of Sheffield campus.
I was very happy that I was able to live at hillside House, the staff was very nice and it was very close to the teaching building where I went to school.

Really really nice staff, the facilities are first-class but the thing that stands out the most is the location. The location is good for nightlife, studying facilities, sport facilities and food shops. Even though I’m a first year I do not regret missing out on the student village as the experience I have had with hillside house so far has made my university experience as good as it has been.

I love this apartment! ! !The staff in the apartment are super serious and responsible.The apartment facilities are very perfect. Studio room has its own washing machine, dishwasher and super refrigerator.

I like this apartment very much. I live comfortably. The only drawback is that the Internet speed here is very slow, only 100kb/s, I wish the network here can be replaced by a gigabit network.
The apartment is conveniently located close to my school (art tower) and has excellent amenities. I am very satisfied with the facilities provided
Lovely and helpful accommodation, the staff are so friendly and I've really enjoyed my stay here. The facilities are great, I love using the gym as it's open 24 hours so really suitable to my timetable. I also love the events the accommodation hosts for different types of holidays, such as Christmas. Would highly recommend for students at all stages of their study!

Staffs here are enthusiasm and patience. The accommodation provide substantial breakfast every weekday and holds variety of social events every month.
A very convenient place to stay with great facilities and everything you need close by (Budgens, the park, the SU, and the library are all practically 2 minutes away). The staff are lovely and really makes the experience all the better.
Everything is perfect especially the roof garden and really short distance to Arts tower. But it's still too expensive when considering cost effective performance.

The amenities are really worth paying a little more than other accommodation in the area, and the reception team are so lovely :)
Absolutely top in everything except for the rent value it is a bit too expensive, but still their management and staff team are just amazing. More than enough social rooms are available. Could say that the high rent value is a result of their top services and accommodation, but personally it is expensive.
Some room contents mentioned in the contract are missing from the room, when i brought it up they acknowledged that it’s on my contract and did nothing about it. Rooms are freezing cold (i mean it’s the uk) and heaters don’t even work. we were told Most of the amenities will be finished by early october but been almost two months and not much is finished.
