Hi,
Our flats vary from 4, 5 or 6 bedrooms. If you could email us on thetramshed@prestigestudentliving.com and i can tell you how many people are in each flat you are looking at :)
The price is based on the floor/view the room has - so, bronze are typically on a lower floor whereas silver are on a higher floor with views over the city.
We do not have dish washers i'm afraid.

Internet is very fast, any issues are sorted easily through an app. Packages are collected and stored for you in reception which is lovely.
The views from the flats are amazing. Plus all amenities provided are modern and up to date giving the environment a lovely aesthetic.
Amazing place to live, staff and very friendly and helpful! When dealing with maintenance they were straight on it and helping in any way that they could. Always something to do and always events and competitions happening!
I’ve lived here for two years now, the wifi is a bit spotty sometimes it’s great sometimes it doesn’t work so if you have an important interview or something go to the library but it’s the perfect distance from campus, less than 5 mins from the gym and max 15 minute walk to lectures as well as being a 10 minute walk from the high street. The staff on reception are really lovely and put all sorts of events on during the year for different celebrations which is nice.
I’m in my 3rd year of living at Tramshed and absolutely love it. The flats are neat with plenty of room and the location is ideal for the university and also the town centre.
It’s my first year in tramshed and i love it! my brother has also been in tramshed for 2 years and i always loved coming rounf to his flat due to the kitchen space and the common area is a great social place!

Been living here for 2 years and have rebooked for my final year! Absolutely love it. The staff aswell are beyond accommodating and supportive. Any problems that come up, they sort it asap Kitchen/living room is very spacious and there’s everything right on your doorstep as it’s very close to the town and a 10 minute walk to the train station

Lived here for 2 years (going into my third year now). Amazing place to live, staff are so friendly and always have something going on for everyone to take part in, breakfast clubs, giveaways etc. Rooms are lovely couldn’t recommend enough
stayed here for my last 2 years at uni and was great. maybe a bit steep in price but other than that was great, staff were friendly, made a load of new friends and memories from my time here.
Lived here for 3 years and rebooked for my final year, great staff with plenty of events throughout the year to take part in. Right on campus so you can wake up 20 minutes before your lecture and still be on time🤭. All ensuite rooms with plenty of storage space and good WiFi (98% of the time).
Overall great experience, great area to live. Massive spaces in the rooms and kitchens.

I have been living here whilst doing a Masters in Animation at Uclan. The accomodation is great as it is in a really good location close to the town, the train station, and the University is on your doorstep. The staff are also really nice and accommodating.

I’ve lived here since September and have had issues with my shower drain and toilet smelling. I have reported this a number of times to be told they have exhausted all options and believe it may be stagnant water. However, this isn’t resolving the issue. I have also been asked to clean the toilet. Not sure how many times it needs to be cleaned as this is an everyday issue. It is not pleasant staying in a room with a foul smell being emitted from both the toilet and shower drain. The shower drain was also not blocked when I moved in and yet was still smelling. They have suggested a room change. However, I have respectful and mature flat mates who are very considerate (they’re not noisy at night, don’t hold house parties and are never drunk) I don’t have the time to be moving my things about. This issue clearly needs looking into by a qualified plumber.
I’ve been here six months and already rebooked. This is due to the social aspect of the halls combined with the friendly staff that run it. I would highly recommend to any new fresher students.
Great place to live in for the last two years. Everything is great and the staff are really easy to get along with. I've enjoyed living here as it's in a great part of the city, and the fact that the building is quite well-maintained. The maintenance is quick and easy and I've rarely ever had problems with it. Additionally, the staff are nice and friendly, making this experience a great one overall. It's a shame I'm no longer a student because I'd have liked to stay here for a little longer - the convenience is excellent. Big fan of the place and I highly recommend it over other accommodations in Preston.
I’ve lived here since September and plan to live here again next year. The staff are so lovely and always go above and out of their way to make sure we feel welcomed through doing things such as chocolate foundations, pizza and Prosecco days and pancakes recently on pancake Tuesday. The rooms are very nice and good quality for money. If anything is ever broken it’s fixed as soon as we let them know. Would highly recommend as both staff and students are so nice and it’s a good environment to meet loads of new people

The rooms are great value for money and the social areas are very modern - the staff are so helpful and friendly and i have met friends for life here. Cant wait to rebook my room for another year!! x
Met some amazing people here and the staff are 10/10! They put on the best events for us to get us socialising.
I will be leaving and looking for alternative student housing., 1) Its to noisy keep your windows closed! 2. If you like Amsterdam older women and clubs then please do come here.! 3. It's too expensive !! 4..The wireless internet is unusable !! Just please don't come here ! !
Disgusting. My shower has been leaking a foul brown substance ever since I moved in in September. I made two complaints, one in September and one in November, only to be told that there was actually no maintenance person currently employed by The Tramshed, and since my shower has still not been fixed, I assume that they still haven’t managed to find one now nearing the end of January. Not sure how legal this practice is. I’m lucky i have family that live close by the university as the few times I’ve actually used my room at the Tramshed and used the shower there I have become very sick. This place needs shutting down and having the local health and safety people look into it. And the staff just feel sorry for themselves when you email, telling you “we’re all trying our best”. For the price I’m paying for my room your best is not enough and your severe lack of hygienic practices is making me physically ill. Couldn’t be worse.
Tramshed staff have been very polite and welcoming since the beginning of my stay at tramshed. Anything needed they are always there to help. Accommodation and general social areas are very open and Is a lovely place to live.
The reception staff are lovely and so accommodating, the kitchens and bedrooms are nice and modern and the common room has plenty of space to chill with mates

The Tramshed is a fantastic place for all students to live. It’s in an ideal location, right in the heart of campus. There are regular social events organised by the management team and a brilliant common room ideal for socialising. The staff are really friendly and happy to help. The flats are extremely modern, and really well priced for the location and facilities provided. Living here has made my uni experience all the more enjoyable, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

I have enjoyed living at the tramshed and have looked at staying here for the whole of my uni experience since I haven’t had any problems with the place and it is worth the rent!
I want to say nice things because it's not awful accommodation but I'd rather be honest. It's nice here if you're genuinely not picky and want to be somewhere a bit nicer than normal halls: - Internet is really bad - Gym is super tiny, can't fit more than like 2 people - Laundry machines are always broken. They've broken so many times and left us with either washed clothes or clothes stuck in the machines, and they've flooded before too - Website says "lockable bedroom" but staff just let themselves in using a master key and multiple times, they've let themselves into our flat without prior permission, kind of uncomfortable/invasive/weird?? - Huge management problem, - No parking Staff try their best and I know it's been hard with Covid-19. The location IS great; it needs so much work, definitely not "luxury" living or 5 stars and I've been here 2 years
Generally it is good, but there was some weird smell when I came to my room at induction day.
