Excellent location, room is decent for price. Had a few maintenance issues but nothing too major, although the staff are only present in the morning and not at all on weekends, which poses an issue for security, especially for postage lockers.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU)
University of Law
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

I cannot exaggerate enough how badly you should not stay here. I am a fresher and I am living in a studio. Since coming to uni and staying here, I have become isolated and introverted as there is absolutely no socialising here and I know nobody in the building. I have had problems with the heating, in which they provided a portable radiator that I have used throughout the start of the year and are still using. They have failed to fix my television signal. They never renovated the gym (which I believe they no longer advertise having) so I had to start paying for a membership externally even though it was a deciding factor of living here. The mould in my bathroom has gotten worse, they sealed my skirting board up which were black and falling off, only to cover up the mould. The floorboards have sunken underneath my floor indicating they are rotting away and there are dark patches on my floor and ceiling. Front door was without a lock for ages too! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!
Don’t come this accomodation as a fresher if you don’t want to be depressed. Studio living is isolating. There is NOT 24/7 security as highlighted on all the adverts - infact on a few separate occasions homeless would break in and sleep in the laundry room. Black mold grows throughout all the bathrooms due to inadequate extraction in the bathrooms, something which was never fixed throughout my stay regardless of the fact many people complained. Maintenance staff were clearly rushed off their feet and understaffed. Bathroom door handles were used to replace corridor door handles. People I lived with even had to get parcels delivered to friends accomodation as it was not safe to get parcels delivered here. The was a receptionist on the desk for approximately 30 mins very early in the morning and it was clear she was split between all the fortis student accomodation in Nottingham. They have even further increased the prices for the next year. Please do not stay here as a fresher.
