All in all an excellent student accommodation. Located in very close proximity to Nottingham Trent University and all major bus stops in Nottingham. Also it’s proximity to the city centre makes it a very nice option. Reasonable rent and spacious rooms designed with practicality in mind. All modern appliances and facilities are provided (Love the electric hobs and the heated towel rack)

Nottingham Trent University (NTU)
University of Nottingham
overall a good student accommodation with good facilities. it’s very close to the centre of town which is good but it’s a little far to campus for university of nottingham students. it’s difficult to judge the social aspect of the rise due to the situations of the past year which has prevented this
Great accommodation to stay at with lots of space and available social spaces
The rooms are all lovely - perfect for people that like their own space. The building isn't that big but that just makes it easier to get to know everyone. The accomodation is in a really good place. It's a 10 minute walk from NTU and a 5 minute walk from the tram stop. All the staff are really lovely and I haven't had many maintenance issues all year. Overall, a great place!

Overall good premises, clean modern comfortable, larger than normal. Not so nice location since it is far from buses and trams that go to UoN and mediocre service
Whilst staying at the rise, I really did enjoy my room in terms of the size and storage and functioning of appliances. However, my TV did not work. Regardless the accommodation is worth the penny in my opinion.
This accommodation is one that everyone I believe should experience for second year of university especially as you have your own space, it is clean and you can live with your friends next door!
This is my 2nd year staying here & the rooms are spacious & lovely! Everything is modern & and there are many storage spaces from a wardrobe, cupboards to many mini drawers. Staff are friendly and are keen to help at reception, they usually are quick to get back to you if any maintenance needs to be resolved. Communal rooms have been set up with fun games like the pool table which helped bond with people in the building (before covid) and a few benches are situated outside helped for residents to hang in a safe way. Security are always a phone call away and there is a gate just before the main entrance door - so you have double the security to access too. Only under a 10min walk to Arboretum & 5mins to your nearest Tesco express. Also the beds are super comfy! Overall I've had a pleasant experience living here :)
The rise Nottingham. Brilliant place to stay. Staff are always so helpful and always there when you need them. Shame there isn’t parking for students but that isn’t an issue. Loved staying here this year!
So I had my year in industry cancelled and all my friends already had places to live. I didn’t want to live with strangers so wanted a studio. This was one of the best rates for a studio and looked so nice and new. I can up to look at the building and area (they weren’t open coz covid) and there’s lots of street parking so I could bring my car and have my boyfriend over which was great. The area is ok but it’s cool how close town is and there’s a park like 5 mins away but if you’re UoN your friends and uni is a bit of a trek but I was fine with that bc of how nice the apartment was.
Really nice and modern room with plenty of space and storage. The bathroom is very nice, especially the shower which has good pressure. Problems were resolved quickly too.
Really enjoyable stay so far :)
Staff are absolutely lovely, they go above and beyond to meet any needs and do everything they can to help. The rooms are nice too, although there is no freezer space so I had to buy a mini one!
Honestly the best experience you will get for money. The rooms are modern and spacious for a uni studio, the social areas led to plenty of socialising and the staff are such lovely people and are there for you all day and will help as much as possible! My best place I’ve stayed and seen for uni accom!
I really enjoy living here, really nice rooms, I have my own space but also the opportunity to socialise
Didn't appreciate paying full price while we did not have access to facilities especially a reception for better part of the year.
Really nice accommodation. Good location&friendly staff :)
Although covid did make everything difficult, I have enjoyed staying at the rise overall! The staff are amazing and i’ve had the best experience ever!!!
Great place to spend my first year - made some amazing friends
