As an undergraduate Business Management student, I’m incredibly frustrated with the University of Roehampton. While the course content is beneficial and I enjoy learning, the overall environment is detrimental to my experience. The noise level in classes is unbearable, with many international students lacking basic classroom etiquette. It feels disruptive, and the professors enable this behavior instead of addressing it. Instead of focusing on important material, they often waste time on trivial issues, like attendance, four weeks into the semester. Additionally, the campus is far from the safe space it claims to be. I've encountered security issues, including a fake fire alarm going off in the middle of class. Overall, I can’t recommend the University of Roehampton. It’s been one of the worst decisions of my life, and I urge prospective students to think twice before enrolling.
Thank you for your review. It is great to hear you enjoy the course content and learning. I'm sorry to hear you have had a disappointing experience in class. I recommend you raise this feedback and speak to your school Dean or Deputy Dean. It is important that our students have a suitable learning environment for effective studying. Please contact our security team for future security issues, they will be happy to support and ensure you feel safe on campus at all times. There are fire alarms that go off for tests weekly, this is to ensure that they work and will keep students and staff safe in the events of a real fire. Thank you for your feedback. Katie

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear you are enjoying studying on our beautiful campus. The Hive Cafè is a great spot for our students to unwind and enjoy a coffee with friends, and being a social enterprise, every penny you spend at the Hive goes into services for students. Bari Malik is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and is also the Founder of The Business Laboratory at Roehampton, an innovative platform that encourages business creation and entrepreneurship. The best choice among all options !!!
Thank you for your review. It is great to hear you are happy with your decision to study at Roehampton. Katie
It’s an amazing campus with different opportunities within the university, it has amazing staff and very spacious and peaceful
Great university very supportive staff. Loads of help with loans scholarships and getting it to the campus.
Studying Primary Education at Roehampton University has been a truly enriching and transformative experience. From the moment I began my course, I was welcomed into a warm and supportive community that values both academic excellence and personal growth. The program itself is incredibly well-structured, offering a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The faculty members are not only experts in their fields but are also genuinely passionate about teaching. Overall, my time at Roehampton University has been incredibly rewarding. I feel confident and well-prepared to embark on my career in primary education, thanks to the exceptional training and support I’ve received here. I would highly recommend Roehampton to anyone passionate about making a difference in the field of education.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we are so pleased that you have enjoyed your time at Roehampton! Roehampton's primary age courses are rated as "Outstanding" and we are thrilled that the course has provided you with the confidence and knowledge for your career in primary education. Best of luck in your career! Katie
Completely dreadful and inadequate administrative services, laughably failing. The quality of lectures ok - but staff are stretched too thin to provide any extra input and the concept of personal academic tutor exists in name only. No route to appeal academic results and the anonymity of marking is a pretense, completely impossible - I would not return to study here again and would not recommend it.
We are very sorry to hear that you had a frustrating experience at the University of Roehampton. We appreciate you bringing the above issues to our attention and we will be passing your feedback on to relevant teams to investigate further. Thank you for your feedback. Katie
Location is really good, campus is gorgeous, disabilities service wasn’t super handy as postgrad during Covid but would be great for undergrads
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed studying on our beautiful campus! I am sorry to hear the disability services wasn't as helpful for postgraduate study. I will make sure your feedback is shared with the team so we can ensure all students recieve appropriate support. Katie
Tutors are very supportive, the teaching is great and facilities for Nursing are top class
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, we are so pleased you are enjoying studying Nursing at Roehampton! Roehampton is 2nd in the UK for student satisfaction in Nursing, we are proud that we can offer our students the resources and support they need to succeed! Best of luck with your studies! Katie
Roehampton as a University has had a massive fall from grace. When I applied, it was one of the best for my course (Ancient History). Despite this, they showed a complete lack of respect for this course and cut it in my second year placing me on a different course (Classical Studies). I was initially OK with these changes as I started a society with the RSU with the hopes of helping my music hobby. The RSU were completely useless, unable to fulfil simple room booking requests and almost actively wanted my society to fail by not replying to emails despite how many I sent. Even the Summer Ball, an event designed to celebrate students of the uni, decided to hire friends of the organisers instead of internal talent. I cannot in my right mind recommend this university even as an ex-ambassador. I had to step down from my role because I could not sell this uni to anyone.
I love the Roehampton campus and how welcoming the professors are. The feel of the campus is incredible and the classes are impactful and enjoyable!
University of Roehampton did what I meant it to do, and it was strictly business and work during my MSc degree. But nothing special outside of the lecture room
Not much to say here. Good career service.
We had £3.2m budget cuts to our school (School of Arts). I’ve been made to move out of my own accommodation even after I signed my contract. We haven’t had proper wifi since May (it is August right now) and the university did nothing about it
Roehampton is a historical university. I can say it has best campus view on London. Teachers on there are very knowledgeable and I enjoy studying there.
Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your time with us and we wish you all the best for the future. -Greg, Social Media Team
Considering it was covid precedent times. I had a good experience, was well listened to by professors when ever I had concerns. Student union are really great they have so much for students. Almost every possible society hopefully they can run normally by next term
Hi there, thank you so much for your feedback! We're glad you had a positive experience with us and we wish you all the best for the future. -Greg, Social Media Team
Don't waste your time with this university, the only thing they care about is getting as many students as possible, you are just a number that brings them 9k a year, do not expect anything else. Discrimination is part of their culture, so don't be surprised getting lower marks, academic appeals refused, no communication at all, no academic assisantce. The quality of most tutors in business school is increadebly low, and nobody cares, some tutors are great and passioned about what they do, but most are just wasting your time in the seminars especially. If you want to be treated unfairly, without any repsect then you should go to Roehampton Uni. Student Union was helpful and the library is fine. I hope my comment will help some potential students make the right decision.
Good facilities, great teaching program and lecturers.

Open campus let’s anyone about even at night, security couldn’t give a s***, don’t deal with on campus assaults... shame because it used to be great
All round great uni with brilliant facilities and a beautiful campus
Hi there, Thank you for the kind review! We're glad you enjoyed your time with us! - Greg
Shockingly bad university. The staff, course quality, resources and student union are appalling and well below average. Neither the social aspect nor the learning aspect has given me a satisfactory experience. I strongly do not recommend this university and if you’ve been given an unconditional offer, don’t let that sway you - they give them to everyone so they can get as much money as possible.
Good university, excellent student involvement with extremely diverse and inclusive community.
Hi there, Thank you for your positive review! We're glad you enjoyed your time with us. -Greg

University was okay, often very tailored to on campus students and educational department allowed one sided opinions on matters.

The lecturers I had at roehampton were world class, they went above and beyond inside and outside of the classroom, the overall experience was amazing.
Hi there, Thank you for leaving a review - we're so pleased to hear that you had such a great experience at Roehampton! - Dee
The best thing about this university is the library and a small handful of lecturers that I had during my course. However, in my final year of university there was a situation where our production department deleted our whole group film along with a couple other groups that lost a substantial amount of footage. This was careless and the head of the technical department put it down to essentially "s*** happens". One of my classmates also submitted an essay under mitigating circumstances, and their essay was still capped to 40, even taken the situation higher and formal complaints, the university did little to nothing about the situation, even though the essay was submitted on time with the extension of mitigating circumstances.

The photography course is an absolute joke, was billed at the best photography course in the country which was absolute bs. Waste of my money and time, getting an honours degree here was a waste of time.

The campus is very pretty, it's refreshing to see some greenery after being in the city for a while. The lecturer's are passionate about their work and make the work both interactive and interesting. The support for mental health here is also really good.
Hi there, Thank you for your feedback, we're so glad that you enjoyed your time here and felt supported! - Greg

Beautiful campus and very competent lecturers that facilitate learning. Clubs and societies are lacking but there’s many events that will help you make friends all across campus.
Hi there, Thank you very much for your constructive comments. Please feel free to leave more feedback over at communications@roehampton.ac.uk. - Greg
As a graduate they have done nothing in terms of careers to help you get a job in the industry and there has been zero contact or support. At university some teachers were definitely better than others but that’s down to the course which overall I enjoyed. The WiFi Service was shocking and hardly worked which made uploads for assignments stressful but the overall area and facilities for classrooms was good just need better accommodation.
A great sense of belonging and community, I’ve loved my time here.
Hi there, Thank you for the kind review! We pride ourselves on our sense of community and we're glad you enjoyed your time with us! -Greg

Clearing uni in a nut shell, everyone just settles for a lower standard of union and uni in general because no one is there by choice, everyone is there through clearing. Uni events are non existent past the same 2 nights each week, Bop is just another club night
Hi there, I'm sorry you feel this way. We're always trying to improve the experience for future students so if possible, please leave more ellaborate feedback over at communications@roehampton.ac.uk. - Dee
Great experience could be better WiFi
Loved it here. Nightlife isn't amazing but people are nice and with London on your doorstep always things to go and do
They are so good at making sure that all of the students are well cared for mentally and physically.

The staff’s great, truly. Every single lecturer of mine is always ready to help with our assignments and any other issues. Nevertheless, people here are incredible and everyone’s so friendly! The facilities are good, too. Especially the fact that I’m going to start attending my lectures at a new building from next term (which cost a lot of money and now it’s so modern and awesome).
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're so delighted to hear about your great experience at Roehampton so far and are glad to hear you're excited about our new facilities. - Dee

Overall, my experience with Roehampton Business School is good.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We are so pleased to hear that you are enjoying your experience as part of the Roehampton Business School. - Dee
As an American student who studied here for an MA degree, this school is absolutely ridiculous. Career services is incredibly incompetent in getting back to you in a timely manner. The dorm I was housed was only 2 years old at the time yet there was always something wrong whether it was fire alarms, lack of hot water, or lack of heat. I would not recommend anyone to spend their money here.
Hi there, I'm really sorry that your experience didn't live up to your expectations. We're always looking for ways in which we can improve for future students so, if possible, please contact us on communications@roehampton.ac.uk with more elaborate feedback. - Dee
I had the time of my life at Roehampton. I formed so many wonderful lifelong memories from the friendships I formed, the clubs I joined, the social events I attended and my great relationship with my tutor. I knew the second I attended the open day that Roehampton would be perfect for me and I was right.
Thank you for the review! We're pleased to hear you had such a great experience studying at Roehampton. - Dee
Beautiful campus, lovely lecturers but teaching facilities sometimes really poor. You might end up having half of your lectures in a chapel with a sub-par sound system.
Poor excuse for a uni. Halls that are upwards of £150 a week yet have a plethora of maintenance issues and pest infestations as well as terrible WiFi that doesn’t work. Maintenance have still yet to fix the problems I reported when I moved in and they probably never will. Security fail to make the campus safe as calls don’t get taken seriously and problems don’t get resolved on a regular basis. They ignore behaviours they are banned on campus and make you feel like an idiot for calling them. People that aren’t students come onto campus at night by following students back home through the estate. Overall, if I had known that these things were going to be problems I would’ve attended a different uni.
Course is not as advertised, not enough societies/clubs to join, not enough events are run in general
Hi, I'm really sorry you feel this way. Please drop us an email over at communications@roehampton.ac.uk with more details about your course experience. As for sports and societies, we have lots on offer which you can join at anytime and you can see a full list of them over on the Roehampton Students' Union's website. We also have various events on throughout the year through both the RSU and the University, full details of which can be found through the Student Portal. - Dee
I’m a very satisfied, second-year Business Student at University of Roehampton. I really like the location of the university and the level of education is high. When it comes to social life at the university, there is a lot of societies and various activities during the academic year that enable students to connect and relax.
Hi there, Thank you for the review! We're delighted to hear you're enjoying your time at Roehampton so far! - Dee
A great campus with good lecture rooms, plenty of cafes, and the union bar. Good lecturers on my course. There's a lot of societies to join, sports memberships especially are great deals for a commonwealth membership £65 you can take most classes as much as you like for the year.
Thanks for the review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us so much! - Dee
Great university... everyone (staff and students) are so welcoming and eager to help. Amazing new library with all the resources you could ask for. Great nightlife with access to both uni run club nights and normal club events.
Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you had such a great experience with us in both socially and academically! - Dee
great lecturers, beautiful campus and amazing wellbeing services
Hi, Thank you for the review! We're so glad to hear you're enjoying your time at Roehampton. - Dee
I'm currently a second year at the university of Roehampton, I enjoy this uni very much for the diverse events that are planned, the college spirit and the nice green campus. The people are friendly, and welcoming. The uni overall feels like a big family, I highly recommend it.
Thanks for the review! We're really pleased to hear you are enjoying your time at Roehampton and feel a part of the family! - Dee
Located in a very quiet Part of London not the London experience I expected. Many people are either far internationals or form London and surrounding areas and stick with their own making harder if you don't fall into these catabolise to fit in
Hi there, I'm really sorry your experience hasn't lived up to your expectations. Although we're situated in a more quiet area of London, Waterloo is just a 15-minute train away meaning you get the best of both worlds with the hustle and bustle of Central London and our beautiful parkland campus! We also have lots of spots and societies on offer which is a great way to meet new people. Find out more over on the Activities page of our Students' Union's website. - Dee
Fantastic experience with the most amazing resources and campus
Hi there, Thank you for the review! We're delighted to see you enjoyed your experience with us. - Dee
It’s a good uni for academia, good course, but everything else about the uni is poor
Hi there, I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed your academic experience with us but sorry to hear about the rest of your experience. We're always looking to improve for future students, so if possible, please email us at communications@roehampton.ac.uk with more elaborate feedback. - Dee
Not too great. Some teachers weren't helpful. Didn't feel the amount of care you should be feeling when forking out £27,000
Hi, I'm really you feel this way. Please email us at communications@roehampton.ac.uk with more details as we are always keen to improve the overall experience for future students. - Dee
Vibrant atmosphere at nights out and other student events. Lecturers have been helpful and mostly very friendly throughout my three years. Beautiful campus, a real green retreat in the middle of London. Perfect if you want the campus lifestyle. A new library has recently been built and it is a lovely building to read and work in. On campus accommodation wasn't the best in elm as it was loud and lots of fire alarms. Generally though, a great place to study.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your time studying with us. - Dee
Academically, it's improving but not intellectually stimulating; getting a degree here is easy. Student life is okay, essential facilities can be found on campus and everything in regards to what London has to offer is in moderate distance.
Roehampton is blessed with a beautiful campus where both your student halls and lectures can be in the same building! Yet, this only serves the pretentious 'bubble' that Roehampton finds itself in with so little connectiom to London, that it's really really hard to consider it London. If you're looking for the city life and a diverse culture, then I'm afraid Roehampton isn't for you. The lack of culture is very basic, just like it's student union. However, if a community is what you're after then Roehampton can certainly please you. Even if the students are a bit of a mixed bag. Also, I love my course. I'm just mentioning the social atmosphere as it's a big part!
The University has a great sense of community being on a small campus with lots of green areas, however it is severely lacking in facilities, some accomidation is over 20years old and falling apart. Overall I am enjoying my course. Social events could be more diverse as the university clubs can be very expensive, £5 for entry and £3 for cloakroom and £7 for drinks on a student night out ! Ridiculous. Good community sense. Bad support services, very generic, no sports facilities. More societies that are organised.
Best experience I have ever had in learning and practice. Wonderful tutors always there to help you and a welcomed and communal feeling. Roehampton’s library is one of a kind.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed your time at Roehampton, partcularly the community feel and our state-of-the-art library! - Dee
It’s a beautiful university, with amazing views. The staff are very kind and friendly. :)

A wonderful university. Friendly teaching staff who will go out of their way to help you. The campus is beautiful and the facilities are excellent.
I left being teaching standard was very poor and sucked the passion out of the degree I was studying. I opted for a complete career change due to this. Did not enjoy this university at all.

Welcoming and fun University who values the importance of education as well as having a great experience at uni. Time of your life
Fantastic university. I feel so at home even though I live 130 miles away. Lectures are great and societies even better.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We're so glad you're enjoying your time with us so far and already feel like part of the Roehampton family! - Dee
The university has made big improvements but still has far to go in regards to equality within the study union.
A great university with plenty of support and extremely helpful staff. All staff are qualified with PhDs and teach their subject of expertise offering the best learning experience you could get!
Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm really glad to hear about your positive experience at Roehampton, particularly with our incredible academic staff! - Dee
Doing a combined degree and have had a problem with every department. Lecture halls with no tables and not enough chairs! Lectures who don’t show up and say they don’t want to teach! I didn’t have a desk chair or WiFi in my room for 8 weeks! Would avoid unless you want the stress. They let anyone in and that really shows!
Hi there, I'm really sorry you feel this way. We're always looking to improve the experience for future students so please email us at communications@roehampton.ac.uk with further details. - Dee
University of Roehampton is a very good place for studnets to study different subjects which can later lead them im to various careers.
After encountering a difficult first year at another university, I transferred to Roehampton and it was easily the best decision I could have ever made. The lectures and seminars were extremely insightful and the lecturers were incredibly professional, kind and approachable. During my final year of my undergraduate, my friends and I founded a society and the Student’s Union were extremely supportive of our society event ideas; we were even awarded “Best Academic Society” at the RSU Awards in June 2018. I enjoyed my undergraduate experience at Roehampton so much that I decided to stay on for further study; I am now half way through my Master of Science - in a completely new field, thanks to Roehampton for helping me land an internship in the summer of 2017 which helped me discover a newfound passion - and, again, staying on this beautiful London campus was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not to mention, the new library is incredible!
Currently in my first year and I’m loving it! So many societies to get involved with. Everyone’s so friendly and carering to one another. The lecturer are all lovely and couldn’t ask for better:)
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're so glad to hear you're enjoying your time at Roehampton so far and hope to see this continue throughout your time with us. - Dee
Great, friendly uni, always something to do. Most dorms only offer ethernet cables, so wifi gets a low rating. Facilities in general are great- but the accommodation is a complete Russian roulette gamble, and believe me I got the full chamber.
Amazing university. The staff are very knowledgeable and the facilities are really good. Best place to study in London

Great university, friendly staff, great careers service
Hi there, Thank you for the review. We're glad to hear you had a great experience with us and our incredible careers team! - Dee
Although we are living in a democratic society where freedom of speak is basic human rights, some of you went out of your way to express your very negative perceptions of this University. Come on people. I have had some serious challenges during my studies that kept me from completing the programme, and the staff has been very helpful supporting throughout those challenging times. There are more positives than negatives about the staff members of the university or the organisation as a whole.
Student union and careers service were friendly, overall great. The internet for mobiles... well it cuts out a lot walking around the campus. Society wise there is very few now that I'm comparing to other unis. There is a student union cafe is good. Dont let the wonderfully greenery images fool you on their website though... during 11/12 months of the year it looks pretty grim.
Great University, lots of fun. Really pretty.

Amazing University, Unique atmosphere and comfortable facilities!
My first year at Roehampton was amazing. The lectures were very interesting and the lecturers helped us to engage in our learning. Obviously, living in London was amazing too. Roehampton is close to all the main London destinations and is a 15 minute bus ride away from Westfield!
Brilliant campus feel for a London uni :) !
Campus is very pretty and clean!

Has been the best 3 years of my life!

Fantastic facilities, amazing location, beautiful campus, excellent atmosphere
Always something to sign up on to do and the staff is really helpful if you have any issues with your writing. Fun parties as well
All the perks of living in London, but also being able to escape to a picturesque campus.
Great job opportunities at the end.
Beautiful, friendly, homely campus. A home away from home. Friendly and helpful tutors.
Roehampton has been perfect, it's been the best year of my life, can't wait to go back in Sep.
Roehampton University
Lovely campus, very green. Lots of building work being done at the moment (Jan 2015). Lecturers are very enthusiastic and very easy to talk to. If in any doubt, I feel comfortable talking to them.
Cons?
Expensive to live as it's in London.
Accommodation is poor, with very bad WiFi.
