LSE facilities are more than satisfactory, but the life is very stressful.
In terms of my programme, it was a brilliant learning experience, with no complaints from my end. However, the strikes this year was a big hit to the financial value of the course, especially for someone like me who is here on loan. It was quite sad to see that the school's administration was not quick to respond the requests, making my course experience miserable during the Lent term.
Lots of support from academic staff but communication from professional services could be much improved.
LSE is competitive yet friendly and is the best place to be if you are an economist
Amazing experience overall! Learned a lot.
LSE is a prestigious school but the student experience really depends on the major and department
Although my honest reviews for the categories above are good, this does not negate the fact that LSE is an exploitative institution that treats students as a commodity. I have first-hand felt myself being treated as a commodity within this capitalist institution throughout my master's degree.
Amazing Uni, too career opportunities.
Very nice student union/ facilities and excellent career services. The services are very comprehensive
Well-known as a research university, it's an excellent place to study. Courses are framed in theoretical manner. Having said that, this makes a little challenging for students to apply what they have learned as the knowledge they have gained are so theoretical. I hope that there is a clear bridge between theories and practical applications as well. As a mid-career person, some of the core courses are irrelevant. I believe programme directors should take into consideration of that too, so that experienced students will be given more options to choose elective courses.
