My time at university so far has been amazing. The staff are super friendly and are extremely helpful when you ask them a question. I do wish more clubs were available or, if there are more, that they were advertised better. Other than that, ULaw has been the best choice I’ve made in a long time and I cannot wait to spend the next three years studying a course I enjoy (law)! (PS: I’m studying at the Leeds campus, however this is not an option when selecting my university above).

They took 5 months to respond to my appeal and are refusing to refund my one instalment. I appealled on medical grounds and provided my surgery documents and diagnosis. they think I wasn't ill enough in a timely manner which is not true, they ignored my previous emails asking to be withdrawn. They have breached policy multiple times throughout the process. ULaw made me submit my appeal 3 times because they are too incompetent to correctly read the course date on appeal forms, and they conveniently left out the second review stage forms every time. Not only are they refusing to refund my instalment but they are telling me they want me to pay the entire course which comes to over 4k!!! I am now speaking to a solicitor who is flabbergasted at the case. Horrible admin, dishonest, cruel, greedy. I want them to see this review and know that I am taking this seriously BTW I used to be a 2023 alumni and this is what they are doing to me. Their credibility has been significantly damaged by thei

Diabolical University. Each and every advisor no matter what department is completely incompetent. My entire course was delayed and pushed back by 4 months due to being given the wrong exam date by the assessments team and then told there's nothing they can do and I have to wait till the next term to sit it. I have also been waiting for a refund for around 6weeks. Each week I call I am told I will receive the refund by 7 days, I have been told this 6 times!!!! Absolute shambles of a University. Do not waste your time applying for this University there are much better options that are being run much more efficiently. I cannot tell you how much stress and anger they have caused me. I had a job offer riding on me completing my course in September /October but to be delayed because of the university, I lost my job offer! Absolutely disgusting

I was SQE2 student with ULaw in face to face classes and I failed the assessment. Face face to classes are absolute waste of time as tutors were not specialists in the area that they were teaching. For example an immigration solicitor was trying to teach in one session of Legal Drafting, all of the subjects including Will, Criminal litigation, Dispute Resolution, Property Law. Every single question was answered by “I don’t know. I am not specialist in this area.” They offer lesser than 5 mock tests and very limited studying materials. For example Legal Drafting in Property Practice is all about filling out conveying forms. In their courses they have just TR1 and TP1 Form. In the assessment that was a form that I had no idea what is this and unfortunately I got 0 on that part. In response of my complaint they said our complaint procedure takes few weeks! While I have just 2 months to prepare for the next assessment in October. Just avoid ULaw. They do not care about their students.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at University of law. The professors were not engaging and often seemed uninterested in teaching. The class sizes were too large, making it difficult to receive individualized attention. The campus was also in dire need of maintenance and updating. Furthermore, the administrative staff was unhelpful and unresponsive to any concerns I had. Overall, I do not recommend this university to anyone looking for a quality educational experience

Avoid this University at all costs for your own sanity. The administration and management of the University have been entirely incompetent at all stages, which has made my experience very stressful. The University fails to address problems even when raised, and most of the staff fail to respond to to any correspondence. The University is clearly understaffed which is detrimental to the student experience.

There are many things to love about staying here. I would begin with the fact that the members of staff like Jas,Diger, Hugo etc. were always there to help with any issues I had. I remember reporting an issue a day before and it was resolved the very next day. Stay here means living in convenience as it is close to the town centre and next to restaurants such as, (McDonald’s, GDK, Treats, KFC, Creams, Nando’s, The Oracle). The train station and the gym are less than 5 minutes away from the accomodation. So if you’re a lazy person like me, then book asap and stop wasting time. Also, I’d like to mention that, they were very flexible with the payment plan, by allowing me to have a four instalment plan rather than three which is something I didn’t even know was possible.

The university is in a great location with a lot of amenities closeby as it is in the city centre. The tutors and staff are supportive and friendly. The teaching style is interactive and informal and all books and equipment is provided on inductions or at the start of each term. They have a brilliant careers and pro bono service and really do work on improving their services to their student satisfaction. The library is law and business focused and have great access to law databases, job teaser and printers/books.

The employability/ careers advice is the best part in my opinion. I have gotten lots of pro-bono from my uni and have had lots of help with my CV,
