Parish Hall Biography
Parish Hall is ideally situated as not only is it located in the heart of Egham’s town centre, it is also within walking distance of the railway station and Royal Holloway, University of London. There are numerous bars, restaurants and shops for you to explore in the town centre, so you can be sure that you will never be bored.
You can benefit from having all the amenities you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is free WiFi, laundry facilities and onsite bike storage available for you to use. There is a study space for those days you need to focus on work and private dining space when you feel like hosting dinner parties. To ensure you and your belongings are kept safe and secure, there is 24-hour security and CCTV, free contents insurance and onsite management and maintenance.
Parish Hall offers contemporary studios fitted with modern finishings. These rooms come equipped with a cosy bed, en-suite shower room, storage space, kitchen facilities, a desk and a desk chair. You also have the option to stay in one of these studios per semester.

It is a lovely building thats close to both the train station, high street and university, but it is not worth what you pay. I pay more than my entire max maintenace loan and you dont even get a communal free hoover, toaster, kettle etc. Bathroom is tiny and should be bigger for what you pay. Rooms come in pretty good condition but again is far too small for the price

Very friendly and helpful staff too!
I live here third year in a row and I think it’s the best student accommodation to live in while studying at Royal Holloway. Rooms are cozy and equipped with everything you need, staff are always friendly and helpful and there are also some nice study/social common areas in the building. It is also extremely convenient in terms of the location, all the shops and cafes are nearby, as well as train station and bus station, by train you can get to the centre of London in 30-40 minutes and one bus goes directly to Heathrow Terminal 5, so the location is just 100/10. Really recommend it!
the rooms are really cozy and the location is great since it’s next to the shops and train station. there are also bus stops right outside to go to uni or it’s not a long walk either. issues are resolved fast and it feels homely

Parish hall is very nice place to live, the location is the best in Egham town as it located just next to waitrose and easy to reach any supermarket (waitrose, tesco, fresh market, poundstretcher, Superdrug, boots and chinese shop) and also the restaurant amd cafe to eat around. The staff was also nice, they always welcome to help, answer and resolve the issues very well. In addition, the room is clean and really nice, it was decorated properly for student with many of the storage and learning space! The lighting in the room and equipment availability are also the good choices to live here. The location is just 2 mins walk to bus station, 5 mins to Egham station so that it really convenience in terms of travel to London or go to university.

Living in Parish hall is great everyone is extremely friendly, all issues are resolved in the matter of minutes, it is very very clean and really close to Egham’s centre and Royal Holloway as well. Amazing value for money, we get free stuff like food and discounts and vouchers often!

Thanks to the whole team in Parish Hall, I feel I am living in a clean, cosy, and comfortable place. In addition to the friendly and efficient reception service, we also have been provided with a 24-hour security system. I particularly want to express my deep appreciation to Maria Vuldjeva, the manager, who always gives students prompt and specific responses. Her professional working attitude also helped me to get enough information and support before I moved in. The location is also extremely convenient (20-minute walk to campus, 5 minutes walking distance to the Railway station, and a 3-minute to supermarkets in the centre!) Overall, I strongly recommend the Parish Hall to students, especially those who prefer a good, safe, and friendly study environment.

I lived at Parish for 2 years and I really can’t fault it. The staff and management are second to none - there really was never an issue which wasn’t sorted in less than a business day. The place is always immaculately clean and the apartments are perfect for one person. You’ve got everything you need in the accommodation and the staff always randomly spoil us with treats on various holidays. Not to mention, the location is perfect because you’re about a 2 minute walk from two/three supermarkets, many many cafe’s and of course right next to the high street and the new development area with the lounge and the cinema. I’m pretty sad to be leaving as I don’t think I’ll enter an accommodation that’s run this smoothly again. 10/10, highly highly recommend. Will miss this place very much!
This is my first year staying in Parish Hall, and wow aren’t I pleased to have made the decision to renew my accommodation here for my final year as an undergraduate starting in September 2024. From friendly and helpful staff to an accumulate and safe establishment, I would recommend choosing Parish Hall, you won’t be disappointed!
My experience over the past two years has been exceptionally positive. The accommodations include an ensuite room equipped with a well-appointed kitchen featuring a kettle, stove, microwave, and toaster. The shower offers both high water pressure and consistent hot water. The Wi-Fi connection is remarkably fast. Additionally, I appreciate the convenience of a marker board in the room, useful for jotting down notes or working through mathematical equations. The kitchen is spacious and impeccably clean, avoiding the cramped, claustrophobic feel typical of university housing. The parcel delivery system is highly efficient: upon arrival of a package, the staff promptly completes any necessary paperwork and notifies me via email. I can then collect my parcel from reception simply by signing for it. This contrasts favorably with university systems, which often involve delays and are restricted to business hours. Overall, my residency has been thoroughly enjoyable.
Parish Hall offers a welcoming and secure environment, fostering a clean, quiet, and supportive atmosphere. The reception staff and security team consistently provide exceptional helpfulness. It has a great location as well. Overall, I think it stands out as the premier living choice within this town for students.
People who live here are respectful for others,receptionist and security guard are friendly. Quiet at the night and always get a restful sleep. Any issues the manager will help. Overall I have not had a significant negative impression.

Very nice student accommodation! It is located in the town centre, so all the supermarkets and shops are close to the accommodation, as well as railway station, and a bus station. Room is very cozy and has all the necessary equipment. The management team is very nice and willing to help with any issues you may have! Definitely recommend it!

Parish Hall is the best student accommodation I’ve lived. When I’ve problems, the staff helped me as quickly as they can. Also, it’s located on high street which is very convenient.
It has a great location that it’s very convenient to go to both stations and supermarkets. There is enough space in the room to put in all the stuff that’s needed. There are certain room inspections to make sure the room is nice and clean. If there’s any issues in the room, the helpful staffs will fix it very quickly.
I personally loved the convenient location of Parish Hall being so close to both the grocery stores for day to day shopping but also very close to the station to easily catch the next train. The internet facility is very good and the staff are very responsive to any concerns or issues that arise throughout the day.

Parish Hall is a great solution for those students who need a quiet, central, and easily accessible place to stay in Egham. The staff is always nice and ready to help you, particularly useful is the fact that they collect your parcels without any problem and are there 24/7; plus, they are always coming up with nice surprises! The rooms are spacious enough and with enough cabins to store your things, and you can hardly hear your neighbors. Also the position is great, just two steps away from Waitrose and Tesco, 5 minutes from train station and 10 minutes by bus from Royal Holloway. Definitely recommended!
Parish hall is an amazing living space at the price it gives Other private accommodation around Egham have the same price or more but they are not as good or do not have all the options and facilities as parish hall So thank you parish hall for being so convenient and great

Perfect location right next to the high street so easy access to shops. parking very close to the Accommodation. Accommodation to Train station just a 3 minute walk. Great location that allows you to get a walk in up to the uni. There’s also bus stops super close by. Common areas are well kept. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Security are friendly and freebies are always provided.

Parish Hall is a lovely place to stay, equipped with a kitchenette & ensuite bathroom in brand new rooms that opened last year. The receptionists & security have been nothing but amazing, always helping you with a friendly smile and often giving lots of lovely free goodies! The price tag may be high, but the peace and quality of care that is received is well worth the price tag.

I couldn’t imagine living at a better place whilst at university. My experience so far has been 10/10. Staff are lovely and always so helpful, often giving us free food items and treats! I feel so welcome and safe here. Building is brand new and so apartments are state of the art and beautiful and I don’t think I’ve seen a spec of dust anywhere in the common areas or stairwells. I’m so glad I chose parish hall and I will definitely be coming back here for my third year!

Parish Hall has a nice environment for both living and socialising. You can find every facilities you need (e.g. own bathroom, own kitchen and desk) in your room. Besides, there are lots of common areas in the building which allow you to have plenty of fun with your friends! I personally like the common kitchen the best. It is very spacious and clean!

Parish Hall is a modern, clean studio flat development located in Egham town centre. The shops and train station are within easy reach. The studio flat is perfectly designed with a nice kitchen area and a lovely power shower. There is a long window which makes the room feel fresh and airy and the bed is a small double which is great! The studio flat is very private and the security of the building is superb with 24 hour CCTV. The manager Maria is very supportive with the students. There is a good lift to all the floors and large communal areas where people can meet friends and even entertain. The university is 20 minutes walk away and the train station is 2 minutes away with frequent trains to London and the surrounding areas. I would definitely recommend Parish Hall.

Had a very warm welcome when arriving. The building is very modern and clean. Staff are so supportive and kind. Location is great as the shops are only round the corner and it’s only a 15-20 minute walk to the uni. The staff are also kind enough to be organising occasional trips around the UK. Really recommend!
