A new building has just been added to the campus. The campus is lovely, most of the buildings are quite close to each other. The farthest one should take around a 10-minute walk from the main campus. The facilities are good. There are a lot of activities all around the year. The staff is supportive.

The Plymouth University Experience Plymouth University is a university focused on not education, or even indoctrination I believe, although I have been discriminated against for my political views, having voted Lib-Dem in the previous election cycle, but tend to the slightly lean right towards the views of conservatives. And although I wish to explore my opinions and beliefs as a politics student, these talks and debates are often shut down, not by the peers I work with but by lecturers. As a member of HMAF, I am used to working long hours, and dealing with bureaucracy, so I am not new to this, nor am I new to education, having carried on my educational journey from Wales and Hereford. Furthermore, I have been in politics my whole life, due to my family connections, from Labour to independents to conservatives. My views and political opinions are put down by lecturers, with claims of “lecturing longer than I've been alive” and simply attempting to shut down discourse.
Not the greatest facilities but has most things you need. Good societies and is very social
The Uni has nice facilities and wifi that is accessible throughout campus
I love this university, I take psychology and I love my course and their is a lot of online and in person facilities. Also there’s a 24hr library.
The standard of teaching is excellent and has exceeded my expectations within the first few weeks already. The student union/societies/sports clubs are amazing. The location of a city based campus is like no other.
Seems like a decent univeristy varies by course
The University and Plymouth as a place are passable if you enjoy being by the sea. However, the staff is where a lot of the issues reside. It takes often a week or more to get any reply from lecturers or university staff, questions are often answered with short unhelpful responses, marking feedback is so minimal I feel as though I would have no idea how to improve. Lecturers use ancient PowerPoint that they didn't even create and are riddled with mistakes. Old lecture recordings are provided from years prior, often delivered by a different lecturer. Worst of all is the enrollment staff. I was not enrolled on 2 entire modules in my final year which has lead me to months of negotiation, the University wanting me to enroll again to following academic year but that not being an option for me means I will be studying an extra 4 months longer than intended, meaning I miss my regular graduation and causing many complications for me. They also enrolled me on a module I had already completed (:
Campus and it's facilities look good (we didn't get to go onto the campus as my course was completely online). There was quite a few different societies to choose from. There was very little help with careers but I am only in my first year.
Building was great though I was not able to go into it much. My society is lovely. I have never used the careers service. Internet isn't great
