Campus is great, has many facilities on hand. Many services are accessible to all students which is great. Wifi is across campus, and you don’t have to keep signing in and out when you go to different buildings!!

I think I got value for my money . Everyone is so nice and welcoming.

I am a current second year student and all I have to say is that everything at the university is great. However, the internet is sometimes a little shaky when connected to mobile devices and laptops etc. but if you are a gamer and use the wired connection the you are more than sorted and get very high download and upload speeds!

The WiFi is ok. Sometimes a bit iffy. Plenty of societies and clubs, and careers service is helpful in working out where you want to go after university.
Honestly it’s just a **** university and I can’t even begin to explain the amount of times this ******** of a uni have actually majorly and entirely ****** me over, but I’m gonna. After going through major surgery the dean told me to not sit around of January exams and I will not be penalised. The day before the first exam, bare in mind I was still healing from my entire intestine being taking out of my body 5 days prior, I was told I needed to sit the exams or I will be penalised and kicked out. Also after applying for student finance for my third and final year everything got approved, I was re-enrolled but because the ********* that run this university like sheep with a lack of brain cells didn’t actually send the government confirmation that I am registered for the course, therefore meaning my finance will not be released and causing me to drop out. Thanks edge hill, I hope you’ve had fun ruining my life and putting me into a deep hellhole of an ungodly amount of debt for nothing
Its not a bad uni but if you are LGBTQ+ or not cis gendered white person its not the most welcoming. Most people are simple minded but im sure there are also lovely people just no queer safe spaces...
Beautiful university, good tutors and many facilities on campus. Quiet night life as it’s in a small village but it has good transport links to Preston and Liverpool by train and bus

University has been absolutely great. From the facilities available to the events days offered to students to help us improve our skills and employability. It has been an outstanding experience and I would come back to the same university without a doubt for further studies.

I just finished MA in 19th Century studies. The lectures (Bob and Andy) and beyond helpful on every aspect of the course. e.mail are answered often within hours! I have studied at Reading for my BA(hons) and at the UWE for my PGCert, and this universities teaching staff come out top by far! The campus is wonderfully maintained, incredible clean and beautiful. My advice is go there!!!!!
A truly beautiful campus that hides a huge amount of faults. Staff at least in my department (creative writing) are beyond awful. Hard to get their attention on basically any issues and a few of them are frankly worryingly lazy and incompetent. If you are in the uni in that department never make any sort of complaint, your marks will take a clear and dramatic drop.
It is a lovely University to study in with a beautiful campus.

I came for one semester as an international student from America. The campus is beautiful and the international office is extremely helpful with addressing concerns. Ormskirk is not the best for a night out but normally I'd catch the train to go to Liverpool. There are a lots of different societies to be apart of so it's easy to find people with similar interest. I stayed in Main Halls and the accommodation was average. It did not impress me.
I completed both an undergraduate and teacher training courses here. This is a magnificent place to study. The campus is a little out of the way but Ormskirk is a lovely place. You will love it here.
Covid-19:
Regret coming to Edge Hill, lecturer's on the odd occasion they turn up to the lecture, they are unhelpful. Tutors simply don't care. Don't go near forest Court, we had rats and so many other issues. I study a creative subject there and honestly, none of the lecturer's care and the equipment is rubbish, the course was completley different when we came. The only good thing is the library is mint.
Great experience, friendly staff
I would avoid this uni. The staff seriously don't care at all and won't help you in any situation. It is 100% a tick-box set and just have no idea how hard it is for students. The facilities and actually course is below standard as well
I study here at Edge Hill, going into my third year. The campus is modern and everything is conveniently located, the facilities are outstanding along with the accommodation one of the best in the UK. I would develop the SU slightly but that is all.
If dyslexic and need help, choose another uni, terrible support structure. Nice campus but miles from nowhere, in winter it's a horrible commute from off campus. Sports facilities are great but campus gets very same old after a while, especially for a city guy.
Very great campus and keep developing, friendly and humble staff. I am an international student from business school, I’ve got a lot of support from international office, professors and staff. You will attend the seminar with the same lecturer( as i know and from my experience, in some universities you will have seminar with Phd student) who understand your module the most, they always welcome you to go to their office and have a chat with them. I really enjoy my days in Edge Hill!
Such a beautiful and safe campus, there's a broad range of societies to join and the library is great. Some of the courses could be more organised but overall this is a fantastic uni!
DO NOT ATTEND EDGE HILL UNIVERSITY. YOU WILL PAY EVERY RED PENNY YOU AND YOUR PARENTS HAVE TO YOUR NAME.

Could not have had a better uni experience so far! The campus uni is definitely a bonus as everything is at your door and you make so many friends. Edge hill is the place to be!

Edge Hill so far has been a great experience. Meeting new people and engaging in a course I thoroughly enjoy. Only downfall is the SU is fairly s*** for a night out and the wifi is as effective as a condom with a pin hole in it but whatever

Campus and its facilities are great, its a beautiful campus, with many sporting societies. EDUROAM wifi is torturous.

I'm a first year and I am having the best time at Edge Hill. The campus is beautiful and I haven't met a member of staff who isn't lovely. The accommodation is amazing and I couldn't fault a thing about it. We have the best nights at the student union bar every Monday.
The best university I have ever visited, no where could beat the facilities and opportunities provided.
Brilliant and friendly university. The WiFi can sometimes be a bit temperamental but otherwise a great place to study.
wifi is a bit slow and the freshers wasn't as good as other freshers but the parties and things that are organised are great
Enrolment was well organised and went smoothly. Lots of guidance given with finding accommodation and moving in. All halls staff very friendly, warm and welcoming.

The reason for the low score on Internet / Wifi is that it is so slow and hard to even watch a 5 minute clip without the video needing to buffer.
