You won't find a kinder, more caring accommodation team than Stuart, Steve, Gabby and co. They will do everything they can to make sure you're happy, fixing any issues ASAP. The Old Dairy is clean, modern, and just a short walk away from the main Plymouth College of Art campus - so truly ideal when you're studying there. I can see why the Students' Union recommends them (and only them).

I'm not sure why the old dairy is listed as a university of plymouth building on here as it was a decent mix from pca too when I was there but cracking staff and service the entire time, thanks for everything.
The actual management of the property are great and so helpful but the LANDLORDS are in charge and have the final say. The accommodation as a whole is amazing and great value for money, in the best location with 3 shops and both unis next store. HOWEVER THE LANDLORD REFUSE TO LET ANY STUDENTS NOT PAY FULL RENT, EVEN IF THEY WISHED TO CANCEL BEFORE THE FULL PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED. THIS WAS THE CASE WITH COVID19 AND ANY OTHER MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS AND EVIDENCE GIVEN. Support the company not the money hungry landlords.
The ONLY building owners who are NOT allowing cancellations during COVID-19. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Everything was pretty great, people were welcoming and student roost has been the right choice for my venue here. Thank you very much everybody.
Looked clean and fresh when moving in but lots of things broke and the flat was sort of falling apart by the end (windows leaking, plaster coming off the walls, table wobbly, oven had to be replaced etc). Luckily the management were super helpful though. Location's great - a 6 minute walk to campus. No cleaning or even bin removal which was a bit of a drag. Socially was ok, fobs only get you into your own flat of 5/6, so I know a few people who had crap flat mates had a tough time socially. Overall was ok, but probably not worth the extortionate amount it costs.
Very good quality services for a very low price but you do need to do ALL of the chores yourself and it isn't the most sociable place
The Old Dairy is on the slightly pricier side of halls but it is of a higher standard than Robbins or other Plymouth Uni halls. The rooms are really nice sizes with Small double beds, something that most halls don't have. The only downside is that any cleaning is done by the residents. This means that if your flat mates are lazy, like mine, then you'll end up cleaning the kitchen yourself so that you can pass the monthly flat inspections. Unlike other halls, you have to take your own rubbish and recycling down to the bin store, but this isn't too bad really because the bins can be taken out on your way to Lectures. Bonus, there is a Co Op right next door, town is a two minute walk down hill. There's plenty of takeaways and a Sainsbury's local and Tesco express down and round the corner. If you need something cheaper, then there's an Aldi 15 minute walk away (which isn't really that far once you've walked it a few times) All of the hall staff here are nice and easy to approach
Good once built. Management always on hand to help however common room was not what they made it out to be
Lovely halls, brand new, wonderful staff but no cleaning service and wasn't ready when we moved in
