Overall a positive experience.
Adequate amount of clubs and societies to choose from, although there is much more to be desired. Wifi was difficult to log in and may cause some issues with specific phone types. Career services was excellent however which provide you support in interviews, personal statements, visa and whatever concerns you might have for your student life.
Excellent service at this university
not a great university in my opinion
The university is good but the engineering department is not
Cardiff university is a great place! The city is amazing and the uni offers many extra curricular activities for you to get involved in
I have enjoyed my Undergrad Degree at Cardiff Uni, so much so I have applied for an MA degree there. Some campus facilities, depending on what 'school' they belong to, can be fairly outdated. There is a massive range of clubs and societies you can apply for, from a variety of sports societies, tabletop societies, and subject-based, there really is a society for everyone. Joining a society is a great experience that allows you to make new friends with similar interests, and a lot provides great socials. The students union is a great place to relax, study and get some food.
University facilities vary depending the building etc. However, now with more constructions at buildings things are getting better
friendly staff, reaching people, useful information distributed efficiently, groups are very inactive and they cost money
Nice uni campus but little in the way of support for students in view of Covid and for students struggling with their courses
