The uni is great, the WiFi is a bit iffy
Lovely location and great place
Great place to study lovely art building
Sergio is very helpful. Very very good work done
I love staying at blackweir, they respond really well to maintenance requests
I regret picking this university a little because Llandaff doesn't really have any clubs which are all located on the Cardiff uni campus which is very far away, I also feel that the university needs better wellbeing facilities as when things are difficult it felt like there was no support or space to calm down. Additionally the food is expensive. Thankfully I now have a wonderful tutor in the ceramics course who is very helpful :) overall I am disappointed in this university.
The Llandaff campus is decent, however it's not as swept up as the Cyncoed campus. The Cyncoed campus has the SU, all the clubs and societies and generally has better facilities. In comparison I feel like I'm not getting the full university experience simply because I'm on the 'wrong' campus at Llandaff. The two campuses are also quite far apart. It would take me an hour and a bit by foot to get from one campus to the other. And since I need to live neer Llandaff to get to uni, there's no way I'd easily be able to get to Cyncoed campus regularly. There is a bus shuttle that runs between the two campuses but it runs at limited times, i.e. not in the evening or on weekends, which is when societies/clubs run activities. Llandaff campus has the necessities, like places to eat, get coffee, a library, a gym and the lectures and practice rooms, however that's it. I am very disappointed overall but oh well.
Severn point is a great place to live as a student, the staff are friendly and the living spaces are cosy. I really appreciate the effort the staff put into organised breakfasts and movie nights, and Billy in particular has always been a friendly receptionist that is always happy to help. Thank you Severn point for making student life easier :)
Great location, clean, and easy to navigate
Overall I like studying at Cardiff met but I think the sun could be better
