I have had a fantastic experience with the English department. They all really seem to care about their subjects and students, although I know people in other schools that don't feel this way about the teaching staff. The campus is also beautiful with lots of study and hang out spaces. Student support have also been amazing, going above and beyond to help me.
Nice campus, uni properties (facilities) are generally clean and good faculties.
Great university with beautiful campus and a hardworking team of students ambassadors in the student union. Good facilities and helpful staff
I think the University of Aberdeen is very curious. There is a beautiful campus environment, and some teachers are also very responsible. The library is also very comfortable..
I haven’t had any problems so far, only during strike week when lectures would be cancelled, but the professors always made sure there were supplies available online
Certainly! Here's a short review based on your description: "I am delighted to be studying MSc in Safety and Reliability Engineering at the University of Aberdeen. The university provides a highly conducive environment for learning, which is essential for academic success. The lecturers are not only knowledgeable but also friendly and approachable. They are always willing to offer assistance and support, creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. I am grateful to be part of a program that values academic excellence and fosters a supportive community."
I have not joined any clubs but there seems to be a good variety. The student union building could be better with more activities held there like pub quizzes or open nights
Never found a lack of things to do when it comes to the university like societies and sports as well as lots of facilities like the sports village or the main building at hill head student village. Also I much prefer it being a campus university as everything is next to each other and is easy getting between classes. as well you get to bump into familiar faces. There are gardens which are really nice for studying in the summer. also there are lots of onsite cafes. The library is also quite big and during finals is open 24 hours which I found really good. There is also a shuttle bus to foresterhill campus and plenty of bus stops surrounding the uni and a direct route going through the university to hillhead student village. The labs are very new as a new building was just opened and I find the teaching very interactive like you can email lectures with questions.also if your ever stuck in a part of a city you can call a taxi u can use ur student ID if you have no money and go pick it up lat
The MSc in Science in IBM programme offered at the University of Aberdeen is nothing short of outstanding. The university offers a wide range of majors and minors, enabling students to explore their interests and pursue their passions. The curriculum is comprehensive, well-designed, and keeps up with the latest advancements in various fields. The university also provides numerous research opportunities, allowing students to engage in hands-on learning and make valuable contributions to their chosen disciplines.
