The best place to improve your networking and social skills. The university has provided so many for the students, the lecturers are nice and you can find the best people to be friends with around Aberdeen.
The university is very nice. Lectures are well delivered. One of the best place of the campus is the Sir Duncan rice library which provides all the necessary for good revisions/ meetings etc.. the student union is fine as well. The facilities around are okay. The only issue migth be on the value of stuff. Because 3£ for a coffee is actually quite expensive especially in the library cafeteria. However, the food court at the Union is helpful. And will be even better with much more restaurants around if possible, cause lunch and breakfast are the most friendly activities done by students during uni. It’s mostly during lunch that we end up meeting people or enjoy mates company. Amenities ( sport centre, stadium etc.. ) and the soceities are very nice. Shutout to the AuSA who provides lots of activities as well.
The student union especially is brilliant, they really go out of their way to help you with whatever you need.
Good teaching staff with state-of-the-art research laboratories.
One of the best decision I have made so far going to Aberdeen university for my postgraduate program.
Awesome facilities, great lecturers, full of diversity and everyone is kind and willing to provide guidance. The University has a rich history that is visible within the building, Elphinstone chapel, St. Machar chapel among others. The university lives up to its expectation of being the best university in the region and beyond. Its curriculums are intuitive and provide students with an opportunity to think outside the regular box.
Aesthetically pleasing (for the most part) campus. Nice library and good student union building. Internet is fast with good coverage around campus. Lecture theatres are relatively close which makes walking to your next lecture quick.
Lovely looking University Campus, tons of societies to choose from.
The professors at the University of Aberdeen are very friendly and the library is very large
It has been overall a very good experience, I would like to see the student union change, currently not a space to meet up/ hang out in after 8 pm would be nice to see events on or live music.
