Usher Hall Biography
Usher Hall is conveniently located within walking distance of the Middlesex University campus. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants, shops, bars, cafes and transport links on your doorstep.
When wanting to unwind after class, residents can hang out in the TV common rooms. To ensure you are well looked after, there is a secure entry system, security guards on-site during weekends and evenings and a hall team that is available during working hours. You can benefit from having on-site laundry services and cleaning of kitchens and communal spaces once a week. Stay with peace of mind knowing there is also basic contents insurance, all-inclusive bills and internet access.
Usher Hall offers modern and cosy rooms, all of which are en-suite. These rooms are furnished with all the necessities and have shared kitchens with separate dining rooms.

It’s expensive but it’s very good I like it a lot and it’s in front of the university so it’s safe. Lots of shops near by and it’s in a nice neighbourhood.

The accommodation managers Mrs. Rémi Banjo and Mr. Abdul Ibrahim were particularly kind to me. When I was sick they called an ambulance for me and stayed with me until the ambulance arrived.

Usher Hall is nice place but it have bit noise and i always see the strange guy walk around it make me scare

Its really a nice experience living here but there are not much events arranged to engage students like as in Platt Halls, specially no focus on physical health, no sports activities for students in usher hall. You should encourage it more.
Thanks for your feedback. Usher Hall like Platt has a full scheduled of monthly activities for residents to engage with. Please speak with the RA's or Accommodation Manager who can signpost you to the schedule. Suggestions on events are also welcome so please speak to team.

The people in my kitchen and the kitchen next too me cannot keep it clean for the life of them
We do stress for harmonious living that each resident should ensure that they clean up after using communal facilities - like the kitchen. Unfortunately people have different views on what cleanliness is. Please speak to the team, so they can follow up.
I am not the one who messed up the kitchen I don’t want to be changed
All students are urged to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen. If you find that this is not the case, please speak to the accommodation management team who will follow up.

Everything’s good here. I’ve had some issues with the shower drain because I have long hair and I’m getting bald. But besides that no problem.

The only issue is with the laundry that it might not be enough for the amount of students that are living in halls.

Usher Hall is perfect for those who want to be right next to the university and make the most out of its facilities. My one gripe with it is that everyone has to share the same two washing machines and two dryers, with the laundry rooms additionally straight up closing at 11pm, which makes coordinating getting your laundry done a bit tricky at times. Otherwise a very safe and nice place to stay, especially cause the rooms are ensuite.

We have looked into extending the opening hours, however this couldnt be done due to the noise and close proxiemty of the rooms. We are constantly reviewing facilities onsite and should changes be made we will inform all residents.
