Lovely house with very big rooms and having a shared bathroom is no bother there is so many. 19 people is a lot for accommodation but it’s great socially and you never get bored. There are also two kitchens and they are both very big. It’s also just a very pretty building and it feels nice to love somewhere with an old feel to it.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Good location, quieter than other accommodations with launderette in the building. Wi-fi takes a few minutes to connect.
Crescent Houses offer amazing sized rooms for a great price. 14 Endcliffe Crescent has 14 rooms which is a lot especially sharing one kitchen and one sink but despite that its a fantastic accommodation ideally situated at the very edge of endcliffe. The only other downside is there isnt much of a social space besides the kitchen area.
Great houses with good sized kitchen and rooms just sometimes a bit broken and slow to fix. Still would recommend.
Would definitely recommend, rooms are big and the bathrooms are only shared between 2 or 3 people. There's 2 kitchens so lots of space. There's a total of 19 people in the house (it's really big) so be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed at first, everyone's lovely and very sociable tho.
The Crescent houses are an amazing first year residence as they allow for instant connections with your housemates due to the bigger number of people you live with. Furthermore, the services and spaces provided are perfect for the uni lifestyle.

Lovely house to live in for students!!
Great social areas, large kitchens, great space and value for money,
Very affordable, spacious and has a garden.
The house and rooms are great. Maintenance calls take a while and there are often things such as leakages from bathroom taps etc. it would also be better with a sofa and another sink
Endcliffe Crescent houses are generally good. However my house has no living room meaning that there is a lack of social areas to spend time with friends and flatmates. Aside from that, The Edge is good for socialising and the surroundings are pleasant and secure.
So far during the first semester the services, household and experience as a whole has been more than pleasant. The facilities have been exceptional and had made the experience very good. The only problem that is recurring is in a house of 12 having one sink for dishes is quite hard to handle. So the only fault is this, otherwise no other problems.
Super spacious accommodation, much cheaper than the flats and far better.
Wonderful experience living here, very spacious house with a beautiful garden. I loved how much green the area is perfect for fresh air and relax studying
As of now , the experience has been great in terms of the social activities and we ‘ve been thinking of using the gym also
8 Endcliffe Crescent, lovely house and kitchen doubles as a social space as it is big enough with the rooms being massive which is useful for socialising. Wifi is generally unreliable so doing work is easier in the library (which isn't that far of a walk thankfully). It's a great place to socialise and talk with housemates but the inability to turn lights off in social areas can make for weird pre drinks but you learn to live with it. Would recommend it highly as it is in a good place for going places and it means you don't have to walk up all of the hill to get to the bus stop.
I had a good experience with this accommodation
Great location, safe and excellent customer service.
Incredibly bad wifi but fun to be in
Really fun place to live I really enjoyed living there
Great community as feels like a village with great on campus cafe, launderette and food/bar and lovely outdoor space for when it’s sunny ☀️
A student community village feel with good surrounding area. The edge has a great bar and social space which can be used for studying
Nice space, not too far from uni
The house is very good and quite most of the time, as this is important for PG students, but the house lacks a common area/ Social area. 30 Endcliffe Crescent
Very expensive, but for very good quality all round.
