've just finished my stay at Russell View in Nottingham, and I can confidently say it was the best student accommodation I've ever experienced! From day one, I felt completely at home. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed, whether it was maintenance requests or general support. They truly made the transition to living away from home so much easier. The rooms were fantastic—spacious, and comfortable. Having a cozy bed and a quiet space to study made focusing on my studies that much easier. What really stood out for me was the sense of community. The common areas were always had an activity, and made my core friendship group through the events and social activities organized by the accommodation. It was the perfect balance between having a peaceful place to study Honestly, I can think of no better place to stay, and I would highly recommend Russell View to anyone considering student accommodation.

James , Colin , Jeanette and Michelle were the loveliest staff i’ve ever had the pleasure of having work in an accommodation. They were accommodating , helpful and kind , always sorting out any issues I had as soon as they possibly could. I don’t have a bad word to say about them or about Russell View. I had a great second year living here :)
Staff were so friendly all year. Really great value for money and the facilities were awesome. Pool table and table tennis table in the common room were used all year and the space in the room was much bigger than other places I’ve stayed. 10/10
Had an absolute blast living here. Both the manager, receptionist and employers working there were lovely throughout my stay. Will sure miss them!

Great accommodation, lived here on two separate occasions and both times have been excellent. Location wise it’s 10 mins walk to the uni which is ideal and there are loads of shops and places less than a minute walk away. The staff are all friendly and very accommodating, very lovely people and would recommend massively staying here.
Maintenance and management have always been top tier
Overall, my stay was beyond satisfactory, and I couldn't have asked for a better living situation. This property truly excels in every aspect, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive, enjoyable living experience. I would highly recommend it to a friend looking for a top-notch living experience without breaking the bank. Outstanding customer service. The management team is incredibly responsive, and any issues that arise are always resolved promptly and efficiently. James, in particular, was a really nice person and always went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

Good stay good environment and extremely friendly staff
Out of the 3 accommodation sites I’ve stayed in this is by far the best! The rooms are lovely and really reasonably priced and clean and they have loads of storage space. It’s also in a really convenient area with loads of shops close and the tram only a couple minutes away. Plus all the people that work here are so friendly and kind, I’d 100% recommend Russell View to anyone looking for accommodation!

Amazing staff, James, Michelle, Colin and Jeanette couldn’t be more helpful and deal with any issues promptly, good value for money. Only thing I would suggest is more washers and dryers
Best thing about this place is the reception team. Absolutely amazing people. Make your whole stay from 10/10 to 20/10. Always very helpful even with personal things like if you run a business. Would stay here even if I wasn’t in university

Amazing accommodation, facilities are perfect and staff are super kind and friendly
Russell view location is fantastic, just a 15-minute walk from the city centre, with plenty of facilities nearby. Lime bikes are available within 2 minutes walking distance, making it easy to get around the city. Tesco is 6 minutes away, and Asda and Lidl are within 15 minutes. Additionally, there's a tram stop 10 minutes away and a bus stop just 4 minutes from the accommodation. The rooms at Russell View are well-designed, making efficient use of the available space. The Wi-Fi is generally great, but during peak times, using an ethernet cable ensures better stability. The management team is outstanding. Special thanks to James, the manager, who is very professional and genuinely cares about the students well-being. Shoutout to Colin, Michelle, and Jeanette for their exceptional support. Russell View is a fantastic place to live during your university years!

I’m a 2nd year UoN student that lived in russell view for the 23/24 school year. For me the location is perfect, there was a tram stop 6 minutes away that takes me straight to uni park campus which was so convenient. In terms of rooms they’re perfect. Double beds witch nice firm mattress (no spring praise God!!!). So spacious and there’s even under bed storage. There was a board too (a real one that used actual pins and not blu tack). There’s a full length mirror too which was amazing because I had to buy a mirror for my first year accom. The bathroom is nice and cute and i’d recommend getting a small storage rack. My kitchen was my fav part; sofas, high chairs which are perfect for pres and lots of cupboard space so no arguments. Lastly, u could pick who u wanted to live with if u wanted,, there is a working lift in both blocks, tesco express 2 mins away plus lots of food places that are open late!! 10/10 esp for such great price. James and everyone who works there are also awesome :)

Amazing accommodation and staff creating a welcoming environment. Rooms are big compared to other accommodations and always warm with corridors etc regularly cleaned. Staff are always friendly and willing to help, and maintenance issues are always resolved quickly. Great place for a great price. Highly recommend.

I got the best room for the best price, which I got to know when I enquired about other student accommodations in the city. The staff, James, Michelle, and Colin were awesome and always kind and caring. I would definately recommend considering Russell View as your home

RV is a great place to stay. Exceptional service is provided by the staff here. They always respond quickly to any needs. This is a great place to live all around. The rooms and kitchens are spacious. It’s good value for money and close to NTU.
My second year in Russel View and thanks to the manager, James, social spaces have improved significantly! Definitely recommend this student accommodation!
Loved staying at Russel view for my 1st year. I was grouped up with 2nd and 3rd years which created a bit of a social divide but as an accommodation I wouldn't choose anything else.
I stayed in Russell View from 2021 - 2022. The experience got better around Jan 2022, had a few maintenance issues at the beginning, most of it got resolved. The management team is amazing, James is vibrant and will literally go above and beyond to solve any issues . Collin is also helpful and ready to sort all maintenance issues. I would recommend!
Really enjoyed my stay here and especially interacting with the staff who had the ability to make your day. Big shout out to James who was always there when you needed him or just for a random chat throughout the day. He wears really interesting boxers and pulls the most random facts out from thin air!
I stayed at Russell View for 2 years (My second and third year at uni) , I continued on as I thought the rooms were lovely, spacious, modern and had everything you would need. The kitchen space is spacious and really nice. The price was also a bonus, I felt like I got such good value for money compared to other accommodations on the market. This year we got new management and I can honestly say that James and the team always managed to put a smile on everyones faces, they went out of their way to get to know everyone. Thankyou for everything we appreciated it more than you know.
I have really enjoyed my stay at Russell View, the rooms have been great; modern, spacious and well maintained. The atmosphere at Russell View have made living there even better through amazing flat mates as well great manager James who strives to improve the place everyday and is always happy to help.
Very nice and comfortable place, location is great, people are polite and respectful towards each other. I was very lucky to find great company in my flat, they were clean, tidy and respectful. Staff and management always available, not just as figures of authority, but also available whenever you just need a chat.
James (accom manager) really does go above and beyond! makes my stay so stress free and always makes me feel welcome and at home!
Really enjoying it so far. It was not as good at the start, but it's not about where you start but where you finish. I don't have many bad things to say. As can see, it is in a great spot, staff are really nice. The staff do geniunely go out of their way to help you and see if your okay if they hear that you are not feeling well (which happened a few days ago to me). It's nice to come back from university and then see a smile from someone at the front-desk because to some people, it could make their day and make them feel a little bit better if they were not feeling great. All in all, would come again, but, next year, I want to be closer to my university (UoN) so that's why I'm not back at Russell View.
amazing place to live, the staff here are exceptional, especially over recent months; pride and care taken in all ways, there is genuine care in the accomodation, and you can tell this not only from the staff but also the students that live here. alway prompt on taking care of anything that needs sorting, and overall an amazing place to live, spacious rooms, large kitchens and great atmosphere

Studio is a good size and is better than a lot of the competiton. Staff are friendly and cooperative. Not too pricey for what you get. Social space could be revamped. Location is decent.

Because of covid, value for money and social aspects were affected. RV during my search for studio flats have some of the most affordable studios nearest to NTU. It's a 5min walk to the uni's partnered medical centre (Radford) + 15mins walk to Aldi + 20mins walk to Asda

Living at Russell view has been amazing so far. Staff are really friendly, the rooms are a nice size, the location is great if you're studying at either university (although its closer to NTU) There is a Tesco express and a Sainsbury's local down the road and loads of takeaway places which are only a 5 minute walk away. The price you pay for a 3/4 bed, ensuite and their facilities are what makes Russell View worth it. 10/10 would stay here again!
