I would say out of all of the halls, Lincoln had the best location for sure. Plus, my room was far larger than the rest of my friends rooms, who were in other halls.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
Not the best value, great location, nicely maintained hall and grouns, adequate cleaning though could be better in the shared showers, JCR and study bar are good areas to hang out but within the corridors of the hall blocks they ought to be more social spaces. Social experience was really good, I made really good friends with the people in my block and was easy to get into the city centre whether that was in an Uber for 7-8 mins or getting the bus from the bus stop around the corner. Though I did not go, Cripps Health Centre is in very clsoe proximity which is good. And the WiFi was good on the whole although not always consistent

loved it there, very pretty, nice library, everything small and central, can get to know people easily, good location
Nice, quietish hall in picturesque location
Brand new rooms when I moved in
Amazing, everyone was really sociable
Food was terrible. Although met a lot of my friends so can’t complain too much.
A great hall with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and there are tutors who can help if there are any problems with studying or noise. Rooms are pretty decent with some refurbished this year. Wish I was coming back!!!
First year was made by the atmosphere in halls, very social
My halls experience was fairly awful, i left early
Pretty building and good locations
Excellent halls, large rooms, good social spaces, great location on campus.
Noisy and loud music every night! After several complaints, the management team is still not able to do anything long-term about the noise!

Walls are really thin, so everything carries. I can literally hear a person sneeze 2 rooms away. I hardly see anything resembling hall management except at the occasional social. Good distance from everything on campus which is a massive bonus I will say. We don't really have any social spaces in comparison to the closest halls of Hugh Stewart, Lenton and Wortley and Derby. The library is really nice, but there's not a printer which would have been nice. Food is limited, regardless of what is said on menu. Yes, you can always get a jacket potato. And you'll probably need that because the majority of the food is strange and mismatched. Service staff don't even know the difference between chicken and beef, trust me I've asked. Overall, if it weren't for the convience of the campus, I would say whole heartedly to seriously consider self-catered. Tah.
Very bad, it's very noisy and the management team don't do anything long-term about the noise. Every night is the same thing: call the duty tutor, they tell them off and the night after is noisy again!
Very beautiful hall with big comfy rooms and friendly people
love it, wouldnt change it for the world, it has everything and is such a good size.
Worst Hall ever! It's so loud and the hall management don't do anything long-term for the noise. No matter how many times you complain about the same people they don't seem to register it! The staff are also really rude.
Absolutely class hall, wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Massive rooms with double beds, beautiful quad and a classic dining hall.
Love everything; the rooms, the blocks, the people and the place. It's a beautiful quad and is really aesthetically pleasing.
Its a sick place to live, you get me, we have bare food and sick ass huge rooms, its dos
love lincoln , best hall on campus
Good with lots of lovely people Food os questionable sometimes
I loved my year here, my room was huge compared to rooms I've seen my friends stay in whilst at University. It was always clean and the dining hall was beautiful. The grassy courtyard in the middle was perfect for relaxing with friends on summer days. I wouldn't have chosen anywhere else. (I do think the price of catered accommodation across the whole of Nottingham University was a bit high though).
Best rooms I've seen compared to any halls when visiting friends at other unis
