The building is pretty & bedrooms are lovely - big and old fashioned, I even had a balcony on my room! Quite damp and mouldy though - I had heaps of silverfish in my room. The rest of the flats - kitchen and living area (if you can even call it that) - is horrible. They're tiny and uncomfortable, impossible to socialise in. I think this is why the social scene is so off, it was hard to hang out at all in the building so difficult to make friends. You're in flats of 4 so pretty small groups. The building is also tiny so you're only in a bubble of like 60 people. The vibe was altogether just quite weird.

Facilities were perfect, just the people let it down for me
Small communal area, made up with by huge bedrooms. Fantastic social experience - small, so they whole halls know one another. Cleaning nill - all they do is the bins. But it's not biggie. Incredibly cheap, nice quiet location but not too far from uni and headingley. Def worth what you pay.
Fantastically sized rooms with balconies, North Hill Court was the catalyst behind the process of me meeting some of my best friends and having a great year at uni. The social areas aren't that large, but we'd always hang out in one of our spacious rooms anyway
Had such a good time. Staff are so relaxed and are always happy to help. Has a great community feel.
