The best part of this accommodation is definitely the location. It is located in the very centre of the campus. Library is literally downstairs. The farthest lecture building is 5 minutes away (but if you walk faster you can be there for 2 minutes). Laundry is also very close (3 minutes away). The kitchen is massive - 2 new hobs, 2 new ovens, 1 huge fridge and 1 huge freezer. Everyone gets 2 cupboards with enough space for kitchen utensils. The downside is that there is no couch or anything really apart from the table and the chairs. So most time if you want to chill with roommates you have to invite them to your room. 3 toilets and 3 shower rooms should be split between 14 people. But I must say I never had to wait to use any of these. The worst part is the noise. Since this is one of the most popular blocks with the most flats it can be very noisy. Feel free to call security tho they fix this within minutes. Unfortunately a lot of noise from trucks and cathedral.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Someone somewhere is always partying... the uni-life experience at it's best. Most central location on campus (two mins walk to laundry, library, store, SU, nightclub, lecture theatre, and teaching block). Kitchens have recently been ungraded.
Excellent, close to the library value for money and really inviting.
Best standard rooms on campus (recently refurbished). Didn't get on with my flatmates and some were very messy so hard to gauge cleaning standards and social experience.
Absolutely hated it, murdered sleep
It would have been good, but sleep was absolutely murdered. Extremely loud trucks came extremely early six days a week, and on Sunday the cathedral bells started up very early too. Also the fire doors slam so loudly it makes things in your room rattle every time someone goes in and out of their room. I spent the whole year getting very little sleep, and really struggled to make it to 9 ams
Please do sth with the overall campus Internet! I always have problems with it no matter where I live.
Good court with lots of fun people
really good accommodation and fun people to hang out with
The common room is pretty s*** and the wifi can be buggy but apart from that it's great! Especially the location - right by the pub.
Once described to me as "oh is that the loud one right?".
Best place to be in my opinion! Close to everywhere & so sociable!
Love living at Battersea Court, in the heart of the campus with great oppotunities for an amazing social life. Wouldn't change a thing :)
Battersea is a great place to live. Great location, especially for Rubix and the Library/Surrey shop and the rooms and kitchen are a decent sized, although sometimes a but cramped if everyone is cooking at the same time.
Living at Battersea court had been amazing! It's close to everything which is perfect! And the social side has been amazing too!
Its situated at very good place in campus from where easy to access library, class room, rubix etc. Only one bad thing is that u have ready to face annoying cathedral bell at any time of the day..... And its going to 2 hours when it starts
Great location close to the library & most lecture theatres. Big kitchen and good showers. Cleaning wasn't always great but did come 2-3 times a week.
Best Halls - very social and amazing location
LIVELIEST COURT ON CAMPUS! As told by all the wardens and security staff
battersea is sickkkkk but the warden lives right next to u
Battersea Court is located in the best place
Wifi is flakey and cleaners have caused issues. Has taken long time for toilet to be fixed and communal space could be bigger! Location is perfect!
Good location but it smells bad and needs a refurb
Great location in the centre of campus, short walk to all lectures. Rally nice to live with Lord of people
Best halls everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Cathedral and wardens get on my nerves but otherwise a great place to live.
Great location, less than a 5 minute walk to most lectures, very close to the library as well. Room was in a good condition, nothing broken or worn, good size room. Applicants in the kitchen are a bit old, the electric Hobbs aren't great, slow to heat up and the oven was slow to cook things too. Bathroom and shower layout was good, were a number of problems with the water supply throughout the year though, but was quickly fixed. Showers are powerful and there was always one free. Cleaners come twice one week and three times the next, cleaning was ok if the kitchen was tidy when they came, the cleaner didn't always clean that well though. I loved living in Battersea Wells!
Halls was great, really liked the 14 person flat and the large kitchen
Communal things broke a lot (lights,toilets,fridges...) but were always quickly repaired. Being in the centre of campus was definitely convenient and there was never a dull moment!
