It is really good, better that the other student accommodations I’ve seen so far. The staff in charge of belmont towers is also really nice and helpful and calling student sanctuaries for any issues gets it sorted immediately.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

no one talked to each other and someone put raw meat in the veg bin.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear that you felt the communication between flatmate was poor. The food recycling bins are for all food waste, not just veg waste.
good student accommodation however i think it would be better if there was a living room/sofa situation in the flats like there is in other accommodations.
Thank you for your review. The layout of the Kitchen and dining area makes it difficult to provide a living room in each flat. We listened to previous comments and converted the area on the ground floor to provide a communal space for all Belmont Tower residents with TV and Netflix
The extractor fan in my toilet hasn’t being fixed for over than a month and the Wi-Fi here isn’t steady sometimes.
Thanks for your review. I am sorry there has been a delay in a repair - please contact the office so we can investigate why there has been a delay and get this resolved for your.
it’s mostly okay. The only thing i have an issue with is the size of the bathroom which i would have expected to be bigger considering the amount of money i’m paying out of my own pocket.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry you are disappointed with the size of the en-suite shower room
Tower has been great! there's always staff on hand to help if there's any problems, my room is very spacious and the kitchen is big enough for all of us to be in at once. The accomadation is expensive but the rooms are massive and everyone has their own bathroom. the Premier rooms are worth paying extra for as its only an extra couple hundred pounds a year and they're almost double the standard rooms - they're also a little quieter as the standard rooms are beside the kitchen. we've had a lot of problems with our water and appliances breaking but staff are always pretty helpful. we're close to everything, with everyone's classes being within a five minute walk and the Union and shops within a ten minute walk. There's been lots of societies and ways to socialise - I struggle to meet new people but the unis events have made it much easier. our common room is also fairly big and has Netflix, but people do hog it so if you want to watch a film you have to claim it fairly early.
Glad you are enjoying the accommodation and I am pleased staff have been very helpful. Thanks for the review
I have enjoyed where I am staying so far, the rooms are lovely and have lots of storage space and there are pin boards to put photos from home and work for revision. i was however slightly disappointed with the social area as we do not have a couch and have to use a shared common room with the rest of the tour, there are some positives with this though as it allows me to make friends in different flats. overall i have really enjoyed my stay here so far
Glad you are enjoying your stay. Thanks for the review
Good, comfortable rooms and well furnished. The location is excellent and as it is located right on campus it feels safer getting home after a night out. My only complaint is that the room, especially the bathroom, is not the cleanest and could be better.
Thanks for your review
Rooms are ok but certain things could Do with some work

Thanks for your review, I am glad you are enjoying your stay at Belmont Tower :)
Beautiful views, WiFi can be a bit iffy, there's not living room for the flat to hang in but it's okay
Thanks for your review
Bedrooms are a great size and come with lots of storage space which was great! The location of the flat was perfect as it is in the middle of the campus, which made it easy to getting to class and other amenities. Regular maintenance on the flats to check everything was in order. Highly recommend for university stay!
I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and liked living on Campus :)
A nice space, with everything necessary really close by
Thank you for your review - we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us!
Overall belmont tower was a great place to live it is central to everything you’d need to get to, the only area I think could be improved would be the common area which was a great place to meet people but maybe could be set up in a way to encourage more people to use it
thank you for your feedback. We will look a the common room set up to try to improve the layout as suggested!
excellent internet. right on campus for a short walk to class
Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you find the location of Belmont Tower handy for your classes. Good to hear that you find the high speed internet the University provides to all the residences excellent. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.
Very good in general, just lacking a common room and couches
Hi - thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Belmont Tower and appreciate your comments . We have installed sofas in Balfour flats and are investigating the possiblity of common room space.
Room was amazing value for money, and a lot bigger than typical student accommodation.
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased that you found Belmont Tower rooms amazing value for money. The premier rooms have a larger shower room and extra storage space which makes them feel more spacious.
On campus so you can roll out of be and into uni.
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are please you enjoyed the location of Belmont Tower!
Big rooms and big kitchen, but no real common space ie living room
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you enjoyed the spacious rooms at Belmont Tower. The design of the building makes it difficult to have a lounge area in the kitchens, but we are looking into how to provide a common space for residents elsewhere in the building.
Although I have now left halls. My time in halls was not the best. The bedroom was small and the shower room even smaller. The only communal space was the kitchen and there was no couches or anything in there. The cost was outrageous at £575 a month and Just was not worth it. Overall, do no recommend the halls. Even if the internet was good. These halls were on campus and 2 minutes from most places you needed to be (including the student union which made it especially loud). Sanctuary that manage the halls could have done a better job and all cleaning had to be done by residents so cannot comment on that
Hi, thanks for your review, we are sorry that you did not have the best experience of a standard room within Belmont Tower. We are currently looking at options to provide a common space for the residents. Included in the rent is all utility bills, access to the University of Dundee high speed Wi Fi and network connections and access to staff 24/7 for support. The stairwells and laundry receive a regular cleaning service but it is residents responsibility to clean their kitchens.
All it lacks is common room! But overwise I am very happy with experience as I met many of lifelong friends in here :)
Hi, thanks for your review, it will be a great help to other students! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We are looking at the options for providing a common room space for Belmont Tower residents
Ideal location. Just a minutes walk from every facility. Needs some modernisation however, is a comfortable living space for any student starting out.
Hi - thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we are pleased to advise that Belmont Tower has now been refurbished so provides a modern living space for residents!
no living room or some sort of common area besides the dining area of the kitchen. Awful and dated decor that had weird and wonderful stains. Only recommend if you want to pay for location because its the cheapest out of heathfield and belmont flats
Hi - thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Belmont Tower has now been refurbished with new kitchens and updated decor and carpets in the bedrooms. We are looking into providing a social space for Belmont Tower.
Massive bedrooms with loads of storage space. Massive shower. In a premier room there's a space outside the ensuite that I use as a dressing area. Perfect for hairdryers, straighteners etc. Share with 8 people and have 2 fridges, 2 sinks and lots of cupboard space in the kitchen. Downside would be the lack of a living room and sofas.
Hi - thanks for taking the time to leave a review, this will be a great help to other students! We are looking at a solution to resolve the lack of social space in Belmont Tower
