I thoroughly enjoy staying here, I was greeted really warmly and since then all the staff have been so willing to help and give support. I will be staying here next year again. Everything here is maintained well, and living here is very comfortable, worth the money and much better than where I stayed in my first year. I especially want to say Billy has been the most supportive staff and he’s always helped me regardless of when he’s busy or if it’s convenient to him or not, and this has contributed greatly to my experience here.

Severn Point is within a thirty-minute walking distance from Cardiff University, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and Cardiff Metropolitan University. The city centre is only a mile away and is jam-packed with exciting pubs and restaurants. Bute Park and Blackweir Fields are just under a mile away and are perfect for soaking up the summer sun. There are also green fields and woodland along the River Taff nearby if you want to feel like you aren’t in the city.

Accom is great and so are all amenities, but I want to give a big shout out to the staff working at reception, especially Billy who’s always a friendly face and is always more than happy to help :)

Really nice place to live. Had a few problems when I first moved in with my shower but Billy really quickly solved it and got the issues dealt with. Highly recommend living here for students moving to Cardiff for university.

The staff are great, super helpful and always go above and beyond especially Billy! Rooms aren’t perfect but they’re comfortable!

Good Student accomodation, don't have anything to complain. When I was having trouble with payments or when I needed a landlord reference of the staff Billy in particular was very helpful and informative. Thank you!

It’s a great place to live in. Managed by great staff like Billy who are always supportive, good location which is close to the college as well as a great social area and facilities. Would highly recommend to any student looking for a place to stay during their studies.

Really great experience overall
I really have loved my stay here so far and everything is fine. What I will say is that the rules regarding music playing isn’t clear. I have had to live with a flatmate playing his instrument every day and now I’m moving location next year because I don’t want to live with this again. Noise complains are made all the time by flats around us, and it’s not fair on us falling out with other people when it’s nothing to do with us. Other than this I have liked my stay at Severn point.
Severn point is a great place to live as a student, the staff are friendly and the living spaces are cosy. I really appreciate the effort the staff put into organised breakfasts and movie nights, and Billy in particular has always been a friendly receptionist that is always happy to help. Thank you Severn point for making student life easier :)
All the staff members at Severn Point have been wonderfully welcoming and friendly. Billy especially at reception is always lovely to talk to. The team at Severn Point have created such a nice atmosphere for the students living there.
We have such a lovely team at Severn Point. They have lots of lovely social events that really brought the community together which has been lovely as a 1st year student. I’ve really appreciated the breakfasts they do for us here and the pizza parties they have allowed us to really bond. Rose and Billy have been especially helpful and lovely with any queries.
It has been great so far and Billy has been a great help with me settling in.

The accommodation is well rounded and all bills are included! It is a great space to study and relax. The staff are helpful when required and provide a good service.

It's in Cardiff. It's really comfortable and value for money. It's close to Cardiff University and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. There's a bus stop stone throw away. There's a pub, cafe and a couple takeaway places close by. Couple of grocery stores like tesco and lidl are less than a 10 minute walk. It's clean and well maintained. The staff is really friendly and helpful. When it's sunny I go to Bute Park for a walk as it's just across the road. Definitely recommend living here. Booking again for next year.
Fantastic location for a great price, lovely and very helpful staff, quick and efficient maintenance team, comfy beds, great heating, good water pressure in showers, very safe and secure, never had an issue living at Severn Point compared to other experiences across other Unite properties which I’ve been informed about, and great facilities in terms of the common room
I’ve had a really pleasant experience at Severn Point. The staff have been so welcoming and helpful! The accommodation itself is lovely, and includes a study space which has been really useful. It is also in a great location, would definitely recommend.
Being at Severn Point has really been a great experience especially as I’ve made so friends that I would say for life. The staff are really friendly and are willing to help out with question or needs. One member of staff has really stood out for their professionalism and always being a friendly towards people and that is Ishtiaque.
