Personally I like the University of Huddersfield for the small community feel. My course is smaller and this made it easier to make friends. I however, feel there could have been more support available for me when finding and applying for placements. Whilst I love the facilities and use them regularly, I have found it harder to be able to use them with changes to opening times which have come about in the past year.
Great environment and amazing educators

I am a student at the University of Huddersfield and lived in Old gate this year. It makes me feel really good. Both the geographical location and the living environment are particularly good. Especially the nice sister at the front desk.

Not only is the campus beautiful the staff are also super friendly and supportive. However, the lecturers could be better as it is very lacklustre. The club are especially fun. This is because I participated in the football society .

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate student comments to help guide how we enhance our courses in future. It's also fantastic to hear that you've enjoyed our societies and the campus, as well as the support services available to students.
The university is keen on ensuring students get knowledge that is necessary to ace there career path. The school has different types of accomodations for new students and this accomodations are based on the student budget. Getting an accomodation is best when you start to search early. You could find out more from the student union or the ipoint centre of the university. It is necessary that the student budget is looked into before commencing to studies so as to know what kind of things to obtain. In summary University of Huddersfield is cool

Thank you for taking the time to leave your detailed feedback! It’s fantastic to hear that you’ve had a good experience with your course and especially with your accommodation. Our student support teams, including the HudLets Student Accommodation Team and the Careers and Employability Support, are always happy to help and are conveniently located in Student Central.
