I’ve had a nice time, lovely people and great education.
Good university with excellent facilities. However a massive problem with accommodation. There is not adequate accommodation for all of the students and this problem is made worse by the addition of new courses and the allocation of accommodation not being based on location. Some of the buildings are in need of repair and a bigger library is definitely a need but aside from that it is a great university
University of Galway surprised me with its gorgeous campus, numerous cafes and study spots. However I was disappointed to find that the "university gym" did not provide free memberships to students like many of the other universities. Living and attending university is already expensive enough without having to spend an extra 200 euro on an annual subscription. Moving away from that the free univeristy bus is a huge help, when you manage to catch it. The timetable is hugely unreliable but there is an app you can use to track it. Overall my review of the univeristy is that it's academic facilities are amazing, however it's sports and gym facilities leaves much to be desired.

Definitely an okay school. Nothing pops out, faculty is okay, student resources are alright, study space are severely lacking
Good support but I wish there were more study spaces
its a good university with nice campus
University of galway is a wonderful enviroment with several different buildings. One downfall is that there is not enough study spaces for the amount of students
Overall I’m am satisfied with the university
I have no complaints and have had a positive experience thus far.
very good college with great lecturers
nowhere near enough study spaces no dedicated study space in the hbb eduroam is a pain in the neck
I enjoy my time at the university. Doing medicine as an international student is very expensive though. No real downsides other than that.
Amazing! The staff are always on top of it!
Great university, lots of facilities available and opportunities to take part in student services, clubs and societies.
As a Postgrad I found a lot of Uni systems difficult to deal with. A lot of delays and mistakes in accounting dept particularly with acquisitions. I am aware of PhD projects delayed by years because of forms getting lost incorrect invoices etc. Not an isolated case either. It's a lovely city, there are some great academic staff and I had a great time but there are massive systemic issues with the systems they use and the efficiency with which they use them.
I expected more, not really satisfied overall
Amazing, library is a great service

Good college, many great opportunities to study abroad
