Think it’s a little bit pricy, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything your neighbours do, the safety mechanism for hob is frustrating, having to turn it on and off every 10 minutes (but I understand it’s there for safety purposes) and the bed frame creeks. But overall, the room is lovely and works just fine to live in, nice to call this room my own.

Kingsmill Studios is conveniently located near the University of Huddersfield, meaning you never have to worry about being late for class. The accommodation is in the heart of the city centre, surrounded by everything you could possibly need and want.
Residents can work up a physical sweat in the on-site gym or a mental one in the study room. On your days off you can relax in the cinema room, communal space or outside area. All bills, WiFi and contents insurance are all covered in the rental price. There is car parking, laundry facilities and bike storage available and for your benefit, there is a secure key entry, CCTV and a management team.
Kingsmill Studios offers contemporary self-contained studio rooms and 2-bedroom apartments, some of which have fantastic views of the canal. Each room has been purposefully designed and is equipped with all the essentials.

Studios so not the same as being in a flat

The rooms are gorgeous and a really good size and the building is just a two minute walk from the uni. Main problem is the reception opens too late so post sits in the lobby or isn't delivered at all. Also the windows here do not block out any noise at all and I'm constantly woken up by sounds from the canal or people walking past.

Living here is a pleasure, and I believe it is the place where Huddersfield provides the most peaceful learning and living environment. I come from China and have lived here for a year. The service and environment here are important reasons why I can persist in studying in a foreign country.

It’s amazing place the location of it is perfect just the money I pay in the gold studio 170 same as old gate in my opinion it’s to much old gate got more rooms more activities so I shouldn’t pay same amount.

Love this accommodation. The staff are really lovely and always happy to help. The room is great and the communal facilities are also really great. Such a fantastic place to live!

Overall a great place to live as the surrounding area is quiet and the staff are very helpful, but there are times when no one seems to be in at reception during working hours. Also, it would be better if the problem of rats sometimes in the rubbish place could be solved and someone could come and repair things promptly when they are broken

Great home away from home. The staff make me feel safe and are like our friends. The building is amazing however due to recent stabbings and shootings I do not feel very safe that the front door is broken and is always open for anyone to walk in.

Great space, lovely staff and has a homely feel. The building is safe all apart from the front door is broken so it doesn’t lock.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and resolve any issues very quickly.
Staff are incredible, particularly Axl and Helena, and it's good to know that regardless of what concerns you may encounter, help will be with you every step of the way. My studio is premium, cosy and makes me feel at home, and it's in the perfect spot to roll out of bed and on campus. Social events with food, drinks and games are held frequently to help you connect with other students. The cinema, gym and lounge are a personal favourite for me and my friends to relax and work, and the internet speed is rapid.

Kingsmill studios have the best rooms and for the best price. The location is near university which is amazing, they have social gatherings and they include everyone. Few parties here and there to keep you happy and having fun while studying.
