So far my university experience at Swansea has been amazing. The teaching staff and staff in general are all extremely nice and friendly
It is a good university with very strong student support. The lecturers are very friendly and approachable. The university also has ample spots to hangout or grab a bite.
Great place to form friendships and a great place to learn. However, if you are undertaking a degree where you require placements, you may find yourself disappointed and disheartened. Placement teams need a total overhaul, they need to be more supportive of people’s situations, have a more caring attitude with students, and a way around satisfying students choices. I hope in future student nurses in particular are not treated so poorly by this team.
It is a university I would recommend to any person interested in friendship, belonging and diversity in a higher institution.

Main good areas, but singleton campus needs some serious work on very basic things like some of the toilets are unusable and in unhygiene
Swansea University is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The university has allowed me to explore my full potential when it comes to education and has given me the chance to exceed in ways I never imagined. The Campus is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Swansea it’s a place that has allowed me to heal and just absorb everything in. Another thing I will say about Swansea University is that they go above and beyond to support their students. The amount of support I have received also from Swansea University has been insane. WOW! the university has made me feel whatever I have to say matters and has supported me in ways I cannot describe and for that I am truly grateful.
